Today we are celebrating Ryker's first birthday but we have news to share as well.

Sierrah comes down the steps carrying Ryker and he is in a cute little beach outfit that has a one on it.

"We are ready to go Cam." She smiled.

"Well don't you two look cute. Do you think your family will notice your shirt?" I ask.

"I'm not sure let's see how it plays out."She smiled as we walked out the door.

By the time we make it to the Reece's everyone was there. I grab Ryker and put him on my hip as Sierrah got the diaper bag.

"Hey, guys!" I said sitting down with Ryker.

"There is grandpa's little man," Gray said taking him out of my arms.

"Well, that didn't last long." Davis laughed.

"I think someone has Gray wrapped." I laugh.

Everyone gathered around and the ladies start bringing all the good down. Sierrah smirks at me when she sits down because no one has noticed her shirt yet.

We eat and pig out before Remi brings out the cookie cake and we all sing to Ryker. I see Violet geared up. She will never know how much this means to us.

"Thanks, guys for celebrating with us. We are extremely grateful and beyond blessed with what we have. We will never be able to repay you guys but thank you all for loving Ryker." I said.

"It's been a year stop thanking me. I was happy to help you get the baby you wanted." Violet smiled.

After everything was removed from the table I had Julia on my lap while dad had Ryker again. Gray was sitting across from us and he looked puzzled.

"Sierrah Alice... What in the he double hockey sticks does your shirt say?" Gray asked.

I laughed and looked at Sierrah and now everyone else was noticing it.

"There is no way you are pregnant," Violet said.

"No I'm not pregnant but we are having a baby." Sierrah giggled.

"Say what?" Grey said.

"Sierrah and I have been going through the adoption process and our baby will be born very soon," I said.

"Another baby?" Remi asked.

"Another baby mom... But a girl this time." Sierrah said.

"Oh my, another one!" Violet snorted and smiled.

"Do we have a name for this baby yet?" Avah asked.

"We do her name will be Alissa Elizabeth." Sierrah smiled.

"Oh goodness you named her after your Aunt?" Avah said wiping her eyes.

"Of course! We have been going with her to her doctor appointments and we have sonograms and have been paying for different things." Sierrah said.

"Yeah she's only sixteen and a single mom and the dad signed his rights away and well she found us and we are thankful. She's scheduled to be induced in two days." I said.

"Wow, what a surprise but a blessing. But how does this work?" Gray asked.

"Well, she's signing her over to us and we get to be in the delivery room and she doesn't want anything to do with her after," Sierrah said.

"Wow, that would be hard," Remi said.

"Yeah but she's young and thinks a baby will hinder her life and we always wanted another one and well she's about to be here." I smile.

Sierrah passes the sonogram around and Gray smiles. "Wow, a little girl. I will have to beat the guys off with a stick." He laughed.

"How do you think I feel?" Levi laughed.

"Julia already is giving me gray hair." Coop laughed.

"Well, I for one am happy for all of you," Davis said.

"I can't wait to crochet another baby blanket," Diane said.

"Everything pink!" Remi laughed.

Sierrah's phone beeps and she looks down and her eyes get big. "Oh gosh her water just broke. Cam, we have to get to the hospital." She said jumping up.

"Can you guys keep Ryker?" I ask.

"We would be happy to keep him," Gray said.

We rushed to the truck and put the emergency lights on and flew to the hospital. When we got there Maria's mom was waiting in the waiting area.

"Hi, guys! She's being checked now. They will let us know when we can go in." She said.

"Thanks for letting us know so we can be apart of this," Sierrah said.

"Well, that's what Maria wanted." She smiled as we all sit down.

A few minutes later a nurse came out and said we could go in once the situation was explained.

Same as with Violet I will stay up at her head and I think that Sierrah will as well. We don't really know her and she's so young she's embarrassed anyway.

"Are you sure you want me in here Maria?" I ask her.

"Sure, Cameron. I mean you are her father but just stay at the pillow." She said.

"You got it. Just making sure you didn't change your mind.

Hours and hours passed by and finally the next evening around 7 pm she made it to ten centimeters and begin pushing and six or seven pushes later Alissa came out screaming.

They took her away to weigh her and clean her up. Maria was crying and Sierrah hugged her.

"Anytime you want to see her let us know and we can make arrangements ok?" Sierrah said.

"Thanks, guys I appreciate it. But right now I just want to be alone." She said.

"Thank you for everything Maria," I said smiling at her and then we went to follow the nurse to another room where they took us to spend the night with Alissa.

I pull out my phone and send a picture to everyone.

📱Alissa is here and she's healthy!

I could stare at her all night long. Hard to believe we now have another child to take care of. No, she may not be our biological child but she will be in every way that counts and matters.

"Well, dad what do you think?" I ask with tears in my eyes.

"Besides you, she is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen Sunshine." Cam smiled.
