~Endings can be a blessing too~

Tobias's PoV
"Enzo," I snapped, losing my patience. "Where the fuck is she?" He stayed silent. "Just because you're my brother doesn't mean I won't fucking hurt you."

After my call to Eros yesterday to collect her, he told me she had gone. There was no sign of her anywhere in the house. We've had people searching the whole house for the past hour or so and now we've come to the conclusion that Enzo has hidden her.

"Enzo, you really hid her, didn't you?," Nicholas asked in disbelief.

"Damn, he's got bigger balls then Eros," Elias commented causing Eros to glare at him from across the room.

"I didn't even get to see her much this week," Aidan complained. "I came today to visit her but you just had to kidnap her, didn't you?"

"He took her because he cares for her," Theodore spoke up, making everyone's head turn towards him in shock. He rarely ever speaks. "None of you give a shit about her except for him because he actually did something to try and protect someone he loves."

Loves?

"And you thought you had to be worried about me," Eros scoffed out in disbelief with a slight chuckle. "At least I wouldn't have fallen in love with her."

Fuck, he loves her.

I thought he said she was family so how the fuck can he love her?

"Enzo, I swear if you don't fucking tell me where she is, I'm shipping you off to Italy," I threaten. I watched as his shoulders slumped down in defeat.

Fuck he's not gonna give up.

"Elias, go and book him a ticket. He's going home." Everyone looked at each other before looking at Enzo then at me wondering if I really was serious. "MOVE!," I barked at Elias as he stood there unsure of what to do. Elias let out a sigh and stalked off towards a laptop.

"Dude, just tell us where she is. You've made your point now," Eros spoke, getting bored of this already.

"What I really wanna know is," Enzo began before he paused for a moment with a smirk on his face, "why do you want her back? She's gone now. She's not your responsibility anymore. So why the fuck do you give a shit?"

"She's apart of a fucking business deal," I spat out. "I don't give a shit about her. I give a shit about the deal."

"That's the difference between us," Enzo chuckled out dryly. "You only give a shit about the deal but I only give a shit about her."

"Crazy-," Nicholas began.

"Mother-," Eros interrupted him.

"Fucker," I cut him off as I cracked my knuckles and rolled my neck, hearing the familiar crack.

"Whoever the fuck you've left her with might end up killing her once they find out she belongs to me," I told him with an amused chuckle, knowing for a fact none of the men apart of my mafia will have taken part in his stupid little game.

I have a lot of enemies and no one dares to harm my family to they'll harm the next best thing. If he's hiding her, then they'll think she's important.

"They wouldn't," he spoke, sounding like he was trying to reassure himself.

"Yeah they would."

"Hmm yeah."

"Everyone hates Tobias."

"He's got a lot of enemies."

"They'd kill her."

"Wouldn't even hesitate."

His eyes were now wide and frantic as he panicked. "Good job," Eros feigned congratulating him, patting him on the back. "You've just got her killed."

"Fucking dumbass," Nicholas scoffed out, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Well at least he tried," Theodore spoke up.

"Theo," I began, glaring at him only for him to return the glare with just as much anger. "He fucked up and killed her. She's practically dead. It doesn't matter if he tried to protect her, he failed."

"You don't need to ship him off to Italy."

"Theo, that's what happens when you fuck up."

"We all know he won't survive there," Theo spoke, feeling protective over him. "We barely could!"

I don't want to send him there but he's fucked up everything for us. He has to be taught a lesson for what he's done.

Brother or not.

"Eros," I barked out. "Go to the safe houses on the east. Check those. I'll go to the west. The rest of you check the others," I ordered some of the guards before grabbing my shit and leaving.

I got to my car with Aidan and Elias following behind. Theodore and Nicholas would've gone with Eros. He wouldn't have gone alone. I threw my gun in the passenger seat as the two sat in the back knowing they'd argue over who gets shotgun.

We drove to the west of the city and continued driving until we left the city and all that was left was nature. Until I couldn't drive anymore, we got out of the car. I swiftly grabbed my handgun and tucked it into the waistband of my pants. I straightened my suit jacket and continued walking forward.

Suddenly, my phone rang. Caterina. "What?," I snapped, annoyed at the fact that she would randomly call me.

"Don't snap at me," she demanded. "You didn't reply to my texts."

"I'm pretty sure that means I'm fucking busy."

"I'm busy too but I'm taking the time out of my day to actually act like your fiancée because people are beginning to get suspicious."

"Who?"

"Dude?," Aidan said questioningly, in shock. "We're on a fucking mission." I glared at him.

"Are we there yet?," I snapped at him making him shrink back slightly. "No. So shut the fuck up."

"My family," she answered. "We've not set a date for the wedding. We've done nothing so they're beginning to get suspicious."

"Fuck," I sighed out. I can't ever get a fucking break. "I'll call later." I cut the call and slid the phone back into my pocket.

Slowly, we made our way to the first safe house. I pulled my gun out of my waistband and held it in my hand, prepared to aim. We gently pushed the handle down and opened the door. We walked through the house and looked in every room before deciding she wasn't there. We did the same to two or three more houses.

I stood against the wall beside the door of the next house we were going to enter. Suddenly, I heard voices. I hinted to the other two to stay down and quiet as I listened to these people talk.

"E se lui non tornasse per lei? (What if he doesn't come back for her?)," one asked.

"Allora la uccidiamo, (We kill her then)," another one answered.

"But we should have some fun before we do that," the one that spoke the first time stated with a slight chuckle. Realising we had to enter sometime soon, I began mouthing the countdown.

"On three," I mouthed to the other two.

"One."

We all looked back and forth at each other before looking back at the door.

"Two."

We all positioned our guns correctly.

"Three."

I kicked the door down with my foot without hesitation and the other two followed behind me. The two men that were in here were surprised as they were instantly shot down.

A bullet in each.

We searched each room carefully, in case there were more in here. I silently pushed open a bedroom door with the barrel of the gun, my finger resting on the trigger. I caught sight of a bed and a figure on it. I walked in with my back against the wall. Once I realised there was no one else in here, I went towards the bed. I nudged whoever it was with the tip of the gun causing them to roll over.

Evangeline.

Realising she didn't even wake up through the gunshots, I leaned forwards and checked her pulse. Barely there.

I shoved my gun into my waistband before I picked her up bridal style. I called the other two and we rushed to the car.

She can't die.

As much as I hate to say it, we need her.
