I was gonna stay strong—ain't no giving in to Hunter's fine ass. Boy was pulling everything in the book to get me to cave in. I wasn't budging, I don't know why he even bothered challenging me. Hunter knows I'm competitive ass shit.

He literally was sat next to me in bed with only briefs on. Hunter was straight laid out arms behind his head as he shot me suggestive looks.

"You really not gonna budge huh?" He asked moving closer to me. I felt my breath hitch ever so slightly.

"Nope" I said calmly, as I stared straight ahead

"So you wouldn't mind if I did this..." he said trailing off as he began to place kisses below my ear.

"I would really like to focus on the movie, so can you not" I said with slight attitude

"You just seem a little tense" he said into my ear as his hand made its way to my spaghetti strap tank top and pull it down pass my shoulder.

"Nope, just tryna watch a movie" I say trying my best to control my breathing

This dude really tryna seduce me right now

"Just give in Nadia, I could have you feeling right" he said kissing my bare should

"The Devil is a lie" I said under my breath

"Hmm what was that?" Hunter asked

"nothing" I said quickly

"Listen all this kissing is nice but I'm getting so tired" I said fake yawning. Grabbing the remote, I shut the tv off.

"Goodnight Hunter" I said laying down facing the opposite direction of him.

Hunter really thought he was slick though. He purposefully pulled me closer to him so that his dick was pressed against my ass.

"Okay then Goodnight Nadia" he said smugly

I sat up automatically and grabbed one of the many pillows on the bed placing it between us "Imma need you to give me three feet Hunter"

"Well damn, a man can't snuggle his girl" fake shock apparent in his voice.

"Not when that man has ulterior motives, you really thought" I said laughing as I laid back down "you better handle that too"

He knew exactly what I was talking about because I heard him suck his teeth

The sun was shining in my eyes as I got up the next morning. Much to my surprise, I found myself laying on Hunter's chest—the pillow I had placed between us discarded on the floor.

I laughed lightly to myself.

This man.

Looking up at him, I began to admire his face—something I've been doing a lot lately

I still sometimes couldn't wrap my head around the fact I was dating 'The' Hunter Reece—someone I had a crush on for the longest.

I look at him and I saw fate. That way we met and how everything seemed perfectly aligned, I couldn't describe it as anything else but fate.

I felt him begin to stir beneath and I knew he would open his eyes soon.

"Hunter" I said lowly

"Hmm" he responded back, his eyes yet to be opened.

"Wake up baby" I said placing a quick kiss on his exposed chest. Another thing I liked about Hunter was that he was mostly clean cut—besides one tattoo. Tattoos were definitely sexy but on him, I preferred him just like this.

"Baby daddy" I said sing-songy hoping to coax him awake

"You are annoying, keep playing and Imma make me a baby daddy for real" he said, his voice having a slight rasp to it.

"Okay Hunter, you have to get up did you forget that my flight's at twelve" I said poking his chest "New York traffic is horrible"

"Well what time is it now?" He questioned as he finally opened his eyes. The brightness of the sun causing him to immediately shut them back before attempting to open them a second time.

Rolling over, I grabbed my phone from the night stand and clicked the home button "it's 9:24" I said to him

"Alright we should get ready then" he said sitting up rubbing his eyes "I say we shower together to save time"

"You're not slick baby boy" I said hoping off the bed heading to the bathroom

The music played softly as we drove to the airport.

"What time exactly would you be arriving at your mom's" I asked anxiously

"Uh around five o'clock I think"

"Ok ok" I said. That's not too long.

"You got this Nadia" he said laughing lightly "we are almost to the airport by the way. Imma walk you inside alright?"

"Thank you baby" I said squeezing his hand

True to his word, he helped me carry my bags to the baggage check.

"Alright Nadia, this is as far as I can go" he said grabbing my hands "I'll see you in a couple hours

"See you then" I said reaching up and placing a quick kiss on his lips before pulling back

"Wait one more" he said with a small grin as I reached up and kissed him a second time

"And one more"

"Hunter, I gotta go" I said laughing

"Okay last one for sure" he said before pulling me closer and kissing my lips

"Okay Hunter, I should go" I said smiling

"Okay call me when you get there, my cousin Sam is picking you up"

"Which cousin is that again?" I questioned

"Sam is my favorite cousin, the one that always has my back. Keep up Nadia" he said laughing

"Okay, okay geez"

"Alright bye I love you" he said kissing me one final time

"And I love you" I said pulling away from his embrace

That's when we both heard a loud gasp.

"Oh my God is that Hunter Reece" I heard a man say

"That's my cue to go, bye baby" Hunter said as he began to walk away

I laughed to myself shaking my head.

The flight was fairly quick, or so it felt like. Hunter had gotten me first class tickets, I don't think I could fly any other way again after experiencing this.

When we un-boarded the plane I went straight to baggage claim to grab my luggage. I then made my way to the arrival area looking for anyone that had a sign with my name on it.

Right as I was looking around, I saw a man holding a sign that said 'Nadia Reece' and in parentheses underneath in small font was 'Washington'

I shook my head laughing.

Walking up to the guy "you must be Sam right?" I questioned

"And you must be Nadia" he said with a bright smile.

"That's me" I laughed softly before sticking my hand out "nice to finally meet you, Hunter told me so much about you"

He looked at my hand disregarding it pulling me into a hug instead, "I'm sorry but we are a family of huggers" he said laughing lightly before pulling away "I hope all you've hear were nice things"

"Most definitely" I said with a smile

"I'll get your bags for you, then we can get going" he said grabbing two of my bags as I carried the duffle.

When we got in the car, I buckled up and we began the drive to Hunter's house.

"I'm sorry about the poster by the way, Hunter put me up to it"

"I suspected he had something to do with it" I said laughing

Sam so far was easy going and chill, just as Hunter described him.

"So How'd you and Hunter meet?" He questioned

"We met on a plane. I was taking a flight to New York when I got moved to a different flight. This lady and I got the same seat number printed on our boarding pass. The plane was full, so I had no choice but to change flights cause that lady was not gonna switch. They ended up bumping me to first class, where I was sat next to Hunter. The rest is history..." I said smiling at the memory.

"Damn that's crazy"

With that, Sam and I made steady conversation as we drove to Hunter's mom's house.

"So while Hunter's not here, you got any embarrassing childhood stories you can tell me about him?" I asked curiously

"No way, I will not do my bro like that. I ain't telling you, you can ask Jeff though he'd for sure spill the beans" Sam said laughing

"Damn, that's loyal of you though" I said laughing as we turned into a drive way

"We are here"

Taking a deep breath I stepped out of the car, I went towards the trunk to grab the bags

"Oh no you can leave those and just head inside, I got it. Southern hospitality and what not" he said laughing

"I can't let you do that" I said seriously "I'll help"

"No it's fine really, just head on inside" he said with a waving me off

"Okay" I said hesitantly

Grabbing my phone out of my back pocket, I shot Hunter a quick text:

I quickly locked my phone and stuffed it into my back pocket as I made it in front of the door.

Here goes nothing.

Hunter's mom was the sweetest. We talked everything out and we were on more than good terms.

"You know I was kind of worried coming here after what happened" I said honestly

"I completely get it, we got off on the wrong foot. I apologize cause it was completely my fault" she said sincerely

"No I shouldn't have raised my voice at you either, I was just frustrated" I reasoned

"Rightfully so! It's a clean slate now" she smiled

"Alright" I said with a grin. My eyes wandered behind her at the pictures on the wall of teenage Hunter.

"Wow he was so skinny" I said laughing lightly

"Right! You should see him as a baby, he was a chubby one" she said opening a drawer in the living room table. She pulled out what looked like a baby book and handed it to me.

Opening it I began to look through each picture "oh my Gosh look at him!" I said in shock

"He was such a happy baby—the cutest" his mom said proudly

"He still has that same exact smile" I said laughing lightly

"He does doesn't he?"

I flipped to the other page "oh this is when Hunter was in his terrible twos. That boy was a nightmare. He'd grab the whole roll of toilet paper, unroll it, then try to flush the paper down the toilet"

"Oh my gosh" I said laughing

"When ever we caught him doing something bad he'd make this cute face, me and his father could not resist" she said shaking her head at the memory

Right as she was about to say something else, we heard a door open.

"Aunt Julie we are here" we heard someone shout from the door

"Oh that must be David and Jennifer" she said getting up from the couch

I decided to follow her to the door.

I saw her greet, who I was assuming was Jennifer and David. I stood behind awkwardly as I watched on.

"And you must be Nadia, Hunter's girlfriend" David said moving from his Aunt's grasp

"You must be David, nice to meet you" I said with a small smile on my face as I stuck my hand out for him to shake

"Forget that, we are huggers here" he said pulling me in

Guess Sam was right, they are all huggers

"And you must be Jennifer" I said with a smile as I pulled away from David.

I was expecting her to hug like everyone else, but instead she stuck out her hand for me to shake with a tight lipped smile. I kindly reached out and shook her hand

"Nadia is such a pretty name. I met a stripper named Nadia once" she said pulling her hand away giving me a fake smile

Damn, of course there just has to be an evil bitch in this family.

"Was she nice?" I laughed nervously

"No, she was a gold digger" she said laughing

"Well then, I got some sandwiches in the fridge if y'all are hungry" Julie said awkwardly trying to change the subject

I already knew that Jennifer was going to be a problem.

Jennifer has been throwing shady remarks since I got here, I was so close to popping off.

I almost got on my knees and thanked the Lord when Hunter came through the door.

I was one of the last to embrace him, "Hey Hunter you need help with that bag?" I wanted to get away a soon as possible

"Uh no, you know I got it" he said a look of confusion on his face

"I said do you need help with the bags" I said forcefully hoping he'd get the hint that I wanted to be alone with him

"Oh uh, sure" he said finally catching on to my drift

"Alright, no problem" I said grabbing on of his bags and heading to his bedroom to put it down.

Once we got inside, I shut the door placing his bag down.

I tippy toed grabbing the back of his neck as I pressed my lips onto his, tilting my head to deepened the kiss.

His hands made their way to my ass squeezing causing me to gasp allowing him to slip his tongue in and explore my mouth.

He took his time too—it was almost torturous.

I finally pulled away slightly needing air.

"How'd everything go?" He asked breathlessly

"Everything went well with your mom, she even showed me your baby pictures" I said laughing lightly

Hunter backed up taking a seat on his bed as grabbed my waist pulling me closer so that I was standing between his legs. I placed my hands on his shoulder to balance myself.

"Of course she did" he said rolling his eyes "Tell me more" he said rubbing my sides

I was going to mention Jennifer's shady ass, but I didn't want to start anything

"That's about it, everyone has been very welcoming" I said with a smile

"That's good" he nodded with a bright smile on his face

"I think we should head back down before they start getting suspicious" I said giggling

"You right" his said standing up
