Can y'all at least get me haters? If there's no one to hate me, it means I'm definitely doing something wrong. 🐼🤞🏻

"She's fine. Just tired."
"It's been 34 hours, I'm worried."
I opened my eyes to find Suga and Jin talking in whispers.
I sat up with great difficulty and winced with pain when my sides began to hurt.
Jin ran to my side and took my hand. "Are you okay? Don't get up. You have a fractured rib." It hurt each time I breathed in deeply.
I nodded and looked around. "I've been out for 34 hours?"
Suga sighed and sat down by my foot.
"You almost scared me."
"What happened? How's my brother? Leena? Jungkook?" I paused for a second.
"Taehyung?" I finally asked and Jin shook his head.
"They're all fine. Worry about yourself."
My head, hand and feet were bandaged. Movements of my torso were restrained by a gentle brace. The memories of the last incident ran through my mind and I convulsed.
"Where's Taehyung?"
"He left."
"To where?"
"To fix the damage."
"What damage?"
"Stuff. You want to come with us later?"
"I can leave?" I asked as I looked down at my broken state with raised eyebrows.
"Of course. You'll be discharged in a few weeks."
"We-WEEKS?!"
"There she goes. I told you not to tell her." Jin smacked the back of Suga's head.
"I can't be here for WEEKS! Hypnotize them and get me out!"
"No can do, baby."
"Can you tell me what happened? How did you guys find out and what was happening?"
"Long story short.. Taehyung saved the day." Suga exhaled as he patted my leg. "We did too."
"What happened of Byung Soo?" I was bubbling with questions.
"You will see." Suga smiled and Jin shot him an angry look, shaking his head.
"No, she will not. Suga. She is not a mafia member. Leave her alone."
"She can become one if she wants to. I quitted for no reason. It's fun, Y/n." He smiled and a nurse that was standing nearby shot him a shocked and repulsed look before walking away.
"There's something called secrecy. You know?" Jin said through gritted teeth.
"Is Jungkook okay?"
"He's fine. He doesn't remember anything."
"Did he recover?"
Suga and Jin looked at each other and then at me. Jin shook his head. "He's still under hypnosis."
"How-?"
"Taehyung is preparing a few more batches of anti-saraphine. Byung Soo refuses to take off the effects."
The son of a bitch.
I sighed as I rested my head on the wall behind, half-sitting up. Staring at the wall in front of me in silence.
"I'm sorry I failed to protect you." Jin whispered. "I'm so sorry. I shouldn't-"
"Jin, you did your best. It's nobody's fault really. Byung Soo would be after me sooner or later. He killed my mom, isn't that right?"
Jin and Suga exchanged a look I didn't understand as he shrugged, "Yeah. That's true."
"He didn't?"
"He did. He's gonna face his karma in some weeks."
"I want to see Jungkook. I wanna see SanJi and Leena." I exhaled.
"They don't wish to see you."
I remained silent, trying to make sense of it all.
My mind was numb. I didn't know how to feel. I took a shaky breath.
"What about Taehyung? Can I see him?"
His eyes scanned my face for a moment and caught the massive hint of desperation.
"You will."
I nodded and my eyes fluttered back close.
°°°
A week passed and I saw nobody aside from Jin and Suga. I was getting impatient. They wouldn't tell me what was happening behind my back.
Taehyung didn't drop by even once. There was no sign of Jungkook and it made me restless that they hadn't reversed the hypnosis from my brother and best friend even now.
The TV news said that Jimin's absence had infuriated the fans and they were demanding disclosure on his whereabouts. His birthday had passed with a lot of celebration across the globe, which he didn't witness.
My heart wrenched as I realized it was all because of me. He hadn't come back, yet. And it was because of me he was probably still suffering.
The management agency insisted he was on a break and refused to come see his fans. This made me madder. They could simply reveal it and ask for prayers and well-wishes.
What were they trying to protect? This was sabotaging Jimin's career even more, if it had any chance of coming back.
Another week passed by and I got sick of seeing Suga and Jin. They would tell me boring stories and got me Medical Myths to read, making fun of me, but I rolled my eyes and pushed it away, only to wince and both ran to my aid.
Suga's men had introduced themselves to me and some even brought flowers. What warmed my heart the most was when I found one from an addressee by the name K.Taehyung.
I hadn't stopped smiling, until Jin shoved the book in my face.
"Didn't you desperately want to read this?"
"Go away. Leave me alone. Don't you have anything better to do?" I asked weakly. It was hurting each time I coughed, breathed and spoke.
I had taken a look at my skin and it had been badly bruised. I couldn't tell if it was because of the car accident or because of all the harsh throwing around I had suffered that day.
Slowly the trauma had seeped in and I didn't inform Jin and Suga of my nightmares. The sleep paralysis that was back and how I would force myself awake and jolt up because of which I had hurt my ribs more.
The soreness worsened and my ribs' bad condition was prolonged because I kept waking up a with a start.
My anxiety was back and I couldn't help but spend the nights I was awake, crying. I couldn't understand why all of this was happening with me.
I felt bad for Jin and Suga, they tried their hardest to cheer me up.
Taemin brought his laptop once and showed me CCTV footages of people slipping and falling around, but I pushed him away.
"What makes you think this makes me happy?" I asked as I looked at the screen disinterestedly. Minho was pointing at the screen and laughing as a man ran into a glass door and then sneakily found the exit after looking around if anybody saw him or not.
"It is funny. We sometimes hack the cameras to spy on these funny moments." Taemin chortled as he set his laptop aside.
I sniggered at some relatively funny slips and falls and then sighed weakly.
"Go away, I don't need this."
I had heard the nurse speak to Jin when they thought I was asleep.
She had warned them to not let me go down in depression. They were trying their hardest, but this pushed me deeper into depression.
The guilt, the trauma, the regret.
"Will you tell me what happened of Byung Soo?" I asked in week three.
"Suga has him at the hideout. He's facing his karma."
"He can't, unless I see him."
"Oh, you will." Jin rolled his eyes.
"I will." I insisted stubbornly.
"Uh-huh."
"When will I see Kim Taehyung?" I asked.
"Don't think of him, Y/n. It's not the time to be worrying about others."
"Why? Why won't you tell me anything!?"
"I have to leave now. Visiting hours are over. Rest well. I'll get back soon."
"I hope I die by the time you come back. Will relieve everybody of this burden."
Jin pinched my cheeks, "Dare you to say that again and watch what I do."
"What can you do?"
He looked into my eyes and I heard a faint click as my mind went into a quicksand state.
"You're going to be a positive young lady and take good care of yourself because you have better days to see. Okay?"
"Okay." I nodded.
Of course, I could do that. It wasn't difficult at all. He was right. If felt better.
Week four came and the pain lessened to a considerable amount. I could sit up with more ease now and my breathing no longer hurt me.
I saw Jin and Suga pack my stuff and Jin signed my guardian form as he picked up my bag.
"Let's go."
"To where?" I asked as I smiled at him mischievously.
"Byung Soo can wait." Jin smiled back as I got into Suga's car. I pouted and complied. There was no point insisting otherwise with Kim SeokJin.
°°°
"Y/n." Suga suddenly said, his eyes looking ahead at the road, he refused to lock eyes with me.
"Yeah?"
"You recovered on the first snow fall." He pointed outside and I noticed the soft fluffy snow float down. "It's good." He chuckled.
My heart felt like the soft cottony snowflake. Light and pure.
I smiled for a moment, but I felt tears sting my eyes suddenly. I blinked them away.
"Nothing matters unless I don't get to see my family."
"Kai has ran away abroad. Most likely it is Taiwan. He won't come back for a long time."
"But, anti-saraphines help to reverse the effect. So what are we waiting for? Taehyung came out of hypnosis!"
"He was never under hypnosis." Jin rolled his eyes, "Who told you he was?"
"He-" He wasn't?
Was he that good of an actor?
"He made emergency dosage and fused it with my blood to resist it!" I insisted.
"He took it as a counteractive measure. It was precautionary."
"Wh-"
"Apparently, when Byung Soo injected him with your blood. Taehyung felt only dizzy and Byung Soo thought that will help him hypnotize Taehyung. But, Taehyung hasn't only been working on creating drugs.."
"-He's been working on himself to resist them." I completed for Jin slowly.
"That's right. But, he wasn't sure if he could hold out for long and so he took the dosage to avoid falling in Byung Soo's spell and hurting you."
A giant lump climbed up my throat and hammered against it, making it difficult for me to swallow.
"Taehyung is brilliant." I breathed and they agreed with me.
After a few minutes of riding in silence, finally Suga stopped the car.
"Let's go."
"What's this?" I asked as I looked at the huge penthouse. Suga held my hand and helped me out of the car cautiously.
"Jimin's transferred here." Jin said. "I hypnotized everybody to allow us entry any time."
I gulped.
"I said goodbye to him long back."
"Jimin has shown response." Jin smiled at me with bright eyes.
My eyes went wide. "What?!" I whisper shouted, a gasp escaping my lips with surprise and happiness.
Goodbyes forgotten, I felt my heart thundering with happiness.
That sounded like the best news I had ever heard. In a long, long time.
"It's been two months, he shows occasional eye movements."
Jin led the way down the glamorous corridors into a huge lavender painted room.
"I thought you'd be happy to see him." He opened the door for me to enter and stayed out.
"Won't you come in?" I asked. Suga must have stayed in the car.
He shook his head and pointed his chin towards the door, "Have to prepare better surprises for you." He winked and pulled me into a sudden gentle hug.
"Thank you for recovering." He kissed the top of my head.
"Better things are to come." He whispered. He brought out a shawl and wrapped it around my neck.
"It's going to get cold. Give me a call ten minutes before you decide to leave, okay? Don't leave alone."
"As if I have anywhere else to go." I rolled my eyes and waved him goodbye.
I walked to Jimin's bed with almost shaky legs. His face was set into a calm that only the dead welcomed.
It made my heart ache as I gingerly stroked his hair and sat down by his head cautiously.
"Jimin.. I'm back." I didn't realize I'd been holding my breath all this time as I exhaled deeply.
I giggled for a moment and then tears rapidly fell down my cheeks.
"I'm sorry." I whispered. "I don't know what else to tell you. Your management agency is full of dicks." I took his cute pudgy hands into mine and played guitar on his fingertips.
"How long will you take to recover? So much has happened since you've been gone. I hate how life has turned out for you ever since you came into mine. You don't deserve any of this.."
Jimin's eyes behind his lids moved. Butterflies invaded my stomach and started wrecking a havoc everywhere inside.
"Jimin?" I whispered softly. "Can you hear me?"
His finger twitched and I quickly grabbed his hand.
"Jimin? Are you waking up? Wake up!"
He remained asleep and I stared at his peaceful face for a long time expectantly.
He didn't show any movements and I sighed.
"Quit giving me false alarms. It breaks my heart that they are false."
°°°
I opened my eyes and we were in the car.
"Hey!" I opened my eyes wide. "What happened? I was at-"
"You fell asleep. I got worried and came back to find you sleeping. It was time to take care of Jimin, so they requested us to leave."
I nodded sheepishly and then heaved a deep sigh.
"What will happen?" I mumbled, resting my head against the window.
Now, if I got home Jin would come to know I'd gotten back to my anxiety attacks and paranoia. I didn't want to worry him.
"Of what?" Suga asked.
I shook my head and didn't respond.
After a ride of 15 minutes, Suga stopped the car at a deserted road.
"What's this? Why are we here?"
"To give Byung Soo a taste of his own medicine."
He led us to a dimly lit store and pushed the door open.
We walked down the corridor in silence and Suga opened a door to a dark room.
Taehyung sat on the chair in front of a Byung Soo whose head was lolled down to his chest. The room had just two chairs with a small grey table in between. A bright light hung low from the ceiling. It resembled the closest to an interrogation room.
"Congratulations on your recovery." Suga smiled at me.
I blankly stood at the doorway. My heart hammering at a beautifully angelic yet contradictorily demonic Taehyung sitting at the table.
He turned to meet my eyes with his, his lips broke into a ghost of an arrogant smirk. It wasn't really there, but it was there as he turned back to look at Byung Soo.
"Ahh, Y/n." He crooned as his eyes remained fixed on Byung Soo. "Here's your hunt." He pointed at the - I'm not so sure if he's conscious or unconscious - man who had messed up my life since two years ago.
I walked in hesitantly and Jin followed.
"Y/n." Jin whispered in my ear suddenly, I turned to look at him quizzically as he bit his lip and then resumed, "You don't have to do anything if you don't want to. I just want you to feel better."
I nodded and I walked ahead with a more confident gait. Taehyung pulled out a chair out of the dark of the corner of the room and I sat down.
"He's under hypnosis." Taehyung informed me, his fingers drumming the table slowly in a menacing manner.
"Okay.." I whispered, I don't know why I was whispering as I looked back at the sight of the man that repulsed me and made me want to stick a fork through his eye.
"What do I do?" I asked.
Taehyung and Jin exchanged a rather confused glance as they turned to look at me.
"You had a whole month to plan that. We didn't touch him so that he would be in perfect shape for you."
I snorted, "Oh please. Why do you make him sound like a virgin and me a pervert."
Jin and Taehyung both lost composure as they chuckled and Jin placed his hand reassuringly on my shoulder.
"You wanted to know about your mother. It's not a pleasant thing to dig for in your history. But you can. You have the right to."
My instincts told me that I didn't really want to.
In fact, I had other things on my mind. I nodded anyway. Jin didn't need to know what I wanted. I had all the time in the world to show it.
"Wake him up." I told Taehyung.
He nodded and then clicked his fingers in front of Byung Soo's lolled down face.
"Up." He said shortly and the man's head jerked up with attention.
He panted as if he had been out on a marathon and then looked at me with eyes full of loathing.
"Y/n. You.. Bitch." He spat. I felt my eyes go wide as I was taken aback.
"Excuse you?"
"You never will stop ruining my life. Huh?"
Wait a minute.
That sounded very familiar.
I narrowed my eyes at him, "How-" I cleared my throat as I blinked in disbelief, "How exactly?"
"Ahh, your father. Then your mother. You. Your family is cursed. This man," he jerked his chin towards an unbothered, stony faced Taehyung, "This silly bug.. double crossed me. Fraud. You deserve to rot in the pits of hell."
"For narrowly escaping a rape assault?" I asked with raised eyebrows, ignoring everything except for the last part as Taehyung's head subtly inclined in my direction. He shifted in his seat uncomfortably.
"I have questions to ask you." I began anew. I couldn't let him anger me and sidetrack this entire thing.
"How is he under hypnosis? He doesn't seem to be." I added to Taehyung in a whisper.
"He has traces of your blood and saraphine in his body."
"Hate how my blood has found excuse to run in bodies more than one." I hissed in frustration as I turned to Byung Soo.
"Why are you after my life?"
He looked at me, a crazy light turned on into his eyes. It felt like I was staring in the fiery pits of hell as his lips curved up into the most disgusting sneer and he rasped out hoarsely.
"No reason at all."
"Is he bipolar?" I turned to Jin. He had not even a minute ago accused me of ruining his life.
Taehyung next to me suppressed a snigger as Jin shook his head, "You'd be surprised."
I slapped the table and Byung Soo jumped lightly. It gave me the satisfaction of being able to scare him a little, if not emotionally-
"Anyway." I was unprofessional at questioning. "Do you have a syringe?" I asked Taehyung.
"Huh?" He blankly asked and then nodded slowly as he reached in the inside of his jacket and pulled it out.
These hypnotists, I tell you.. walking around with syringes casually tucked inside their coats.
He handed it to me silently and I took it wordlessly as I turned to Byung Soo.
"Listen here, you twisted pathetic excuse of a human being." I said as Taehyung slid a needle towards me on the table.
I inserted it in the syringe, pleased that Taehyung was on the same page as I.
I didn't even want to touch Byung Soo. This man had wanted to watch me get raped. He was weird and disgusting and I had so much to ask him to understand the process of his mind.
"Command him to obey me." I told Taehyung.
"Done." Taehyung smiled at me and I had to warn my heart that this wasn't the time to fall for Kim Taehyung's beautiful smiles.
I nodded at him and turned to Byung Soo.
"Give me your hand." I said sweetly, as much sweetness as I could muster. Until, it sounded painfully bitter.
As if he was wound up by a key like a toy, his hand shot up and glided across the table to give me his palm.
I looked away and took a deep breath, before I lunged my hand forward and pierced the needle into the flat of his palm with full force.
It was dead silent and then the silence was ripped apart by the shrieks of Byung Soo riddled with agony. Satisfaction
