You wake up feeling oddly happy. You've not felt like that in ages.

You realize the note Taehyung gave you is still clutched in your hand. You blush furiously and tuck it under your pillow.

I'm gonna find you, Dr. Kim and you'll be so sorry you wrote me that rhyme~

You didn't have any nightmare and you at least didn't wake up regretting that you even woke up.

You have to find out Aunt Ara's number and contact her to know what's going on with San Ji.

You miss him so much. It being the weekend, you decide to do your laundry and go grocery shopping.

Leena has left early morning to go out on a jog with her boyfriend. That lady spends way too much time decorating her love life.

With a pang of envy, you brush your teeth and fix yourself a lame breakfast.

You don't even like muesli.

You finish it and run out to to your room to get your undies and other pajamas to dump them in the washing machine.

Your phone rings and you're wondering if you should just let it ring and go get it later.

But, deciding against it you saunter to your room and answer it.

"Hello?"

"Y/n!"

"Oh, hey Leena. I'm doing laundry, wassup?" You frown at your own self for giving such unnecessary information when you're not even being asked.

"That's great, except, honey, you gotta put that on pause."

"What?"

"I'm coming home in a few minutes, I'll do it."

"So why call?" You sigh as you wait for the first trip to end.

"Well, to inform you that you have a blind date in exactly one hour. So you better get ready."

"Wh-Wait a minute.. What do you mean?"

"Exactly what you heard." She giggles.

"No, I'm not doing it." You fight back.

Your heart is currently sitting in Kim Taehyung's tea mug and you don't know anything.

You're married to the note he left you and you are committed to that little doodle he made of you. And you're not even sure why he'd do that..

"-sure you look your best, okay?"

"What?"

"I said, make sure you look your best!"

"I totally zoned out so I don't think I heard anything you said after saying you've fixed me a blind date." You roll your eyes. Your mouth is full as you chew on a large bite of apple. "You gotta tell that blind dater to go back and get his eyes checked, because I'm not willing for-" your heart suddenly skips a beat.

Willingness.

You're silent.

"Yeah?"

Silence.

"Y/n? Hello? Hoe?"

"Yeah."

"I think you should talk to Namjoon, instead, here-" her voice fades as she hands her phone to her boyfriend despite your protests.

"Hey, y/n, Namjoon here."

"Hellooo, Namjoon. Btw quick question, why you acting like a pimp?"

"What!?" He laughs.

"Uh, I don't need you to set up blind dates for me. Please don't." You facepalm as you take another massive bite out of the apple and start to unload the machine of the first trip single handedly.

"Unfortunately, he set himself up and told me he wouldn't back down so I better inform you because he would be waiting, regardless."

"Let him wait." You sigh. "I'm not interested, honestly. I haven't gotten over my last relationship, yet." You lie through your teeth.

"I'm not gonna act as a messenger. You can say whatever you like to him on his face. He has been badgering me on for a week now, so I guess this is my cue to leave."

You give up fighting. What harm could come from one blind date, right? All you have to do is say that you don't want to do it the second time. Just like stubbing your toe.

Your defeat excites Namjoon so much that he hurriedly texts you the details of where and who in about literally 20 seconds after the disconnection of the call.

You dry the clothes on the line and leave the rest for Leena to come and wash.

You know she's gonna make Namjoon do it and another pang of envy attacks you.

He's such a warm person that you love him too.

Well, that's... inappropriate.

As you make the least efforts to look good, you're muttering to yourself how much you hate date-set-uppers. And you're now wondering to yourself why you make such messed up new terms.

You have literally put on a pair of baggiest blue pajamas and a thigh length white t shirt with a huge coffee stain sitting right under the neckline that hasn't yet been convinced to leave.

Just like your belly fat.

You tie your hair up in a dumb bun that you hope is looking good enough to resemble a sparrow's nest. Your fringes however, fall on your forehead and you can't help but waste an absolute 5 minutes trying to fix your hair.

Just then your phone rings and you have to sigh and get it.

"Hello?"

"Y/n."

Oh.

Your heart already knows it has to start pumping aggressively. You weren't expecting a call from Dr. Kim today.

"Oh, hello, Dr. Kim." You happily greet him.

"You sound happy. I'm happy." He observes. You feel your smile widening.

"Oh-" you stop yourself right on time before you would blurt out it's from the little note he gave you.

"Yeah, it's because I'm opening a new chapter of my life today."

"Really?" He sounds intrigued, now you're not sure however, what he really called you for.

"Yes, uhm.. is there a specific reason why you called?"

"Yeah, it's umm.. about.." you wait as you watch yourself in the mirror. Gnawing your bottom lip thoughtfully and adjusting your t shirt.

"..Did you do the exercise I asked you to?" You don't know why but you imagine him going red. You almost feel him going red.

"Yes! It helped.. Thank you very much." You realize how insolent you are that you didn't even thank him yet, until he reminded you.

Oof.

Way to go, y/n. You're amazing.

"Okay. Good. Well, then. I'm happy to know that." For some strange reason, you feel like that's not all and he's apparently got more to say, which he won't.

"Thanks, Dr. Kim. You're an amazing person. I'll call you when I have to schedule an appointment. Is that all?" You can't handle your heart anymore.

His voice is killing you. You just want to throw your arms through the phone, drag him out and melt into his embrace. So, you're trying to cut short the conversation as much as possible. You'll attack him when you see him.

"Yes, that's all." He totally sounds like it isn't, but you don't even know why you're trying so hard.

"Okay. Bye, then." You hang up quickly and rest your back against your bedroom wall, trying to calm yourself.

this lil bitch is gonna be the death of me

You hate yourself for always having anxiety when you're not punctual and not many can relate with you. Of course, it's cuz you have anxiety. And again, you're hurrying yourself out when you find yourself almost running face forward into Jungkook's muscular chest.

You still can't understand why you're going to this blind date at all. You so badly just want to curl into one corner, eat till your belly explodes and die. But, here you are, beating yourself up to be on time on a date that you don't even wanna go on.

As you stand in the elevator in awkward silence, Jungkook assesses you down head to toe.

"Morning jog?" He asks.

Since when was it decided that he could hold casual conversations with you?

"No, blind date." You reply. You don't know why he bursts out laughing, or at least you pretend to not know.

"Gosh, I like your sarcasm. Didn't know you were that kind." He shakes his head smiling as he crosses his arms over his chest.

B-but, you weren't even being sarcastic.

Lmao, geroff here you bunny lookin- BUNNY

You try to project your angry thoughts onto him as you glare for the last 10 seconds from behind him, absolutely unaware that he's watching you in the reflection of the door.

"Have a nice jog!" He calls as you bound outside. "Oh, I will!" To your funeral.

You know it's not a party outfit, but you don't need someone else telling you that.

Pajamas are the new sexy.

As you walk into the café Namjoon sent you the Gmap location of, you quickly take a seat and calm your breath. There are a few people scattered in the café and you're trying to spot anyone looking date-worthy.

Seems like your blind date is late.

Or were you stood up?

That would be the worst.

Your anxiety is already functioning.

If there's anything that never fails, it's your anxiety.

You start scrolling down the feed of your Instagram, sipping on water when you feel somebody's shadow fall on your table from your peripheral vision.

"Hi." The familiar voice says.

Ohmygodohmygodohmygod

What are you gonna say?!

"Hi." You look up.

Wait... Is he your blind date?

Lmao, you wish.

"Breakfast alone?" He asks and you can't seem to pay attention to his words cuz you're busy registering his increased beauty from the last time you saw him in the office.

Kim Taehyung stands in front of you, coffee clutched in one hand and the other nicely sitting in his trouser's pocket. His hair is tousled and looks wet as if he walked out of the shower and didn't give it much time to dry out.

Looks sexy tho.

He's looking down at you and not even smiling. You don't understand why he usually has such a stone cold expression.

Yet, somehow he manages to calm your anxiety. You wonder if you should thank him for calming your nerves already.

"Haha, seems like you're still sleepy." He comments and you snap out of it.

"Sorry, what?" You blink.

"I feel like I've been talking to myself." He rolls his eyes and half smiles.

"Oh-" what is an appropriate reply to that?
"No, no. Actually-"

"Comfortable having breakfast alone or do you want someone to join you?" His toe is already pointing towards the door as if he's almost ready to leave.

"You seem awfully dressed up for a Sunday morning breakfast." You note as you point at his outfit. He sure looks hot. Yummy.

You don't mind having a Sunday morning breakfast..

..if Taehyung agrees to sit in your plate.

"It's my usual getup though, but yeah I've been stood up by my date." He replies simply and sips on his coffee.

Your heart drops into your stomach.

Are you by any chance his date?

Psh, yeah. You wish.

"You can join." You gesture at the seat in front of you and put your phone away. You don't want to reveal that you've been stood up too.

Whoever the hell begged Namjoon to set it up is gonna die. A dog's death. By your hands.

You're not regretting, though. You're having breakfast with your hot hypnotherapist, so who's the winner?

"That's a really creepy smile you're giving me. Did you bury my family on the way here.." he tilts his head to one side and sets the coffee down on the table.

"Ahh, you'd be surprised." You flash him your most stubborn pretensiosly unabashed smile. "So.. who was your date?" You ask casually as you take a really long noisy sip from the bottle. Trying to be as casual as you can.

He looks up at you suddenly in such a strangely warm way, that your heart is melting and dripping down your lungs.

"I don't know either." He shrugs, "You, maybe?"

You choke on the water and cough. "Sorr- what" hol' up bitch. YOU TOTALLY SIGNED UP FOR THIS.

Also, smooth?

He shakes his head and finishes his coffee, His phone buzzes. You're both distracted as he looks at his phone's screen.

"She's supposed to be really beautiful." He says as he looks up at you, resting his elbow on the table and placing his chin on the cushion of his palm. You don't know why, but a blush is creeping up your cheeks and you are absolutely unable to hide it.

You shift in your seat looking down at your table and avoiding his gaze as you ask, "How'd you find her?"

"She walked into my office looking for an anxiety cure."
