I was enjoying this coffee with awfully strange taste a lot. And why not, afterall she was with me. Everything looks and feels extra sweet when I am with Sam. She looks extra cute when she becomes nervous. She was avoiding an eye contact, over concentrating on her coffee.

As we move out of the restaurant I felt an urge to hold her hand. I wanted to feel that spark which I felt when I touched her hand once again but that would have scared her.

She ducked in inside my car as soon as I opened the door for her. Her mere presence in my car made me smile. I put the music system on and played one of my favourite songs. It was for her. Each and every word of the song was my own feelings for Sam.

I looked over my shoulder towards Sam, she had closed her eyes and rested her head on the back. But still she didn't seem relaxed. Her eyebrows were strained and lips presses hard. It was as if she was fighting with her inner self or inner voice. Was it? Could it be because she was upset after hearing about me and Julianne. Oh Sam, please please give me some hint. Just a tiny, little micro hint. Just enough to make me understand that our feelings are mutual. Just enough to make me change my decision of marrying Julianne.

I wanted to spend as much time as possible with Sam. As we entered the showroom I saw Sam staring at the ambiance with wide eyes. She had the same expression as that of a child after seeing Disneyland for the first time. Oh Sam, I so want to buy all of this for you!

I immediately moved up to the first floor which had the engagement ring collections. As I reached the floor I was greeted by Mr. McKinley the manager.

"Oh Good morning Mr. Taylor. What a pleasant surprise. Please come Sir", he said giving me way to come with him.

"So, what can I get for you Sir. We have a collection of new Sapphire necklace sets. It's on the next floor. Would you like to bring the sets for you here or would you be coming to the second floor Sir?", I hate when he starts licking my ass as soon he sees me.

"No McKinley, I am here to buy a ring for the lady", I said turning around towards Sam.

Wait! Where is she? She was with me when I entered the showroom, but now she was not here.

I looked for Sam, roaming around the floor. But she was not there. She must still be on the ground floor. Shit Man! I should have held her hand.

I immediately rushed towards the staircase and started climbing down the stairs.

"Mr. Taylor, Sir.... Sir... Listen....", I could hear McKinley calling for me but avoided him all together.

As I reached the ground floor I saw Sam surrounded by four security guards and one of the staffs, instructing them something. Just then, two of the guards held one of Sam's arms each and started dragging her out of the showroom.

There was panic and sorrow in her eyes. My blood boiled to its maximum. How dare they touch her.

"Stop it", I shouted. The room went silent and the guards released Sam. She rushed towards me and hugged me tightly and started crying. I wrapped her between my arms trying to calm her down. She was still shaking with shock and fear.

"How dare you mistreat her like this. Are these your ethics? Don't you know who I am?", I was mad. And my eyes were burning with anger.

The lady tried to defend herself and said, "I... I am really sorry Sir. I didn't know that she was with you. She... She didn't tell me Sir".

"Don't lie, I tried to tell you, but you didn't listen. She didn't listen to me", Sam said almost complaining like an innocent child.

I agreed with her. Of course I know how these people work. Their earnings and commissions are depended on their quality to lick asses of people like me. Bloody leeches!

I demanded to see McKinley, and the lady got scared and started pleading before me and Sam. But an apology was not enough for what she had done to Sam. My Sam. I wanted her to repent and repay.

"Don't you dare talk to my fiance again. She doesn't need to deal with people like you. Now get lost.", I don't know why I called Sam my fiance. I just wanted them to respect Sam as much as they did respect me.

"Sweetheart come. I'll make her pay for what she has done. Don't worry", I said pulling Sam towards me but she didn't move. She looked at me confused. She couldn't understand why I said so. I'll explain her later. Right now I have something very important to do. She was not only confused but a bit angry too and I just knew what I had to do to bring a smile back on her face.

McKinley approached us trying to give reasons for the lady's behaviour.
"Mr. Taylor I am extremely sorry for the misbehaviour of my staff. I apologize Mr. Taylor. She is new here, so she is not familiar with our regular customers."

"Really Mr. McKinley, am I just another customer?", How dare he argue with me.

"Of course not Sir. I deeply regret what just happened."

But as I said, I didn't want an apology. I wanted her to repay. Repay for hurting Sam. "Then fire the lady RIGHT NOW!", I said meaning business.

"Yes Sir. Consider it done." Now he is behaving like a good businessman.

I looked at Sam and said, "See, everything is sorted. Now let's go upstairs we are yet to do the shopping."

I expected her to be happy after I got the lady fired for what she did to her, but she didn't seem happy at all. Instead I saw madness in her eyes. She glared at me making holes in my brain and then turned around and went out of the showroom.

What the hell! Now I feel like a fool standing there. How dare she! I gave her so much respect and importance and she just left. Without my permission.

Enough! I need an explanation and an apology. I am still her boss and she is my employee. This is unacceptable.
