Gracen's view

I can't help but think how lucky am I to have this beautiful girl laying her head in my lap. I can't even watch the TV anymore because I can't take my eyes off of her. She's so perfect even with all her little imperfections. I gently trace the scar starting near the left side of her nose curving a little left and going down. For some reason I love that scar and the one near her left jawline. I know she hates them because she got them in the accident, but I think they make her look cute. She looks up at me in a puzzling way, then smiles as I lean down to kiss her. After a few minutes we have to break away from the kiss to actually go to school. I wanted to surprise Emery in the morning and drive her to school.

If people are smart, then they all know that I and Emery are dating because we hold hands a lot and sometimes give each other a kiss.

We make our way to our lockers to put some textbooks away. The day turns from good to bad when Emery opens her locker.

Emery's view

As I open my locker out comes a green slimy substance that gets all over my shirt. I stand there in pure shock, then I hear laughter behind me from none other than Lyla and Jackson, then I get extremely pissed.

"Aww did the poor pathetic b*tch get dirty. How sad," said Lyla.

"Wow so clever of you guys. It really got to me this time," I pretend to wipe my eyes and whimper.

"Wipe that sarcasm away you pathetic bitch," replied Lyla.

"Or what? Going to call me names, bully me, do more stupid pranks like this? Well news flash, I don't give a f*ck. I'm not like you, a cruel wannabe bitch who is secretly insecure as hell," I replied. After everything they put me through last year, I was pissed. I'm never going to let them get to me again.

"You... you.. bitch!!" Yelled Lyla as she lunged at me, but was stopped my Aiden who pushes her away.

I had enough so I started to walk away. As I did Lyla said,

" You think you're above me. No one cares about you. Your dad abandoned you because you're a disgrace and it's your fault Danny is gone.....don't walk away. You pathetic people, your unwanted orphans," she yelled.

What she said really stung and I could feel tears coming up, but I was brave enough to turn and flip her off before fast walking to lost and found to change into. I guess I walked far ahead of the others because I was alone. This was good, because if anyone tried to consult me I'd probably break done and cry. As I was looking around for a shirt my size, I heard someone enter and I turned.

"I just wanted to see how you were holding up after that back there," said Liam.

There was nothing to say. I just stared at him with a pissed glare. He sighed and walked closer.

"I know you are mad at me and I understand why. You don't know how sorry I am Emery"

"Sorry isn't enough." I replied as I was walking away.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me back. As I tried walking again he put his arm out in front of me to block my exit.

"Emery, I'm really sorry. I feel horrible. I know I shouldn't h....."

I stopped listening because I focused on his face. I remembered times he'd give me a heartwarming smile and how sweet he used to be. I thought I knew who he was, and I thought I loved him. But he changed into something horrible, or maybe that's who he always was.

I focused back to what Liam was saying because he sighed and gently grabbed my chin.

"You always space out," he said.

"Hey Emery....there you are......," said Gracen out loud as she entered the room. Then she looked at me and Liam and how his hand was on my chin and she walked out quickly.

I pushed Liam away from me and chased after Gracen, but she was gone.

Ugh why the heck does one bad thing happen after another.
