And then making sure he's watching, you lean in and kiss him.

Your lips collide with the smooth surface of his mask for a few seconds before you lean away. And then without looking back, you grab his hand and jump into the door tunnel which sucks you back above.

You climb out of the hole and land on the fresh earthy ground. The smell of damp leaves linger in the air, frigid breeze tousling your hair into buoyant waves. It had gotten quite dark, rays of moonlight shining through the branches. Being trapped underground, devoid of fresh air made you realise the air was rather stuffy down there.

Taehyung comes out a few seconds later along with the rest of the boys, who look almost...scared?

''You have some fucking guts'' Yoongi tells you, shaking his head in utter disbelief. ''Did you see the look on his face?''

''I won't let my father touch him. Don't worry'' you assure, but none of them look convinced.

''You don't understand...'' Taehyung's words come out as a quiet mumble. He opens the top button of his cloak, revealing a partly bruised neck. ''This was a warning...if I get punished it'll be worse''

You glance at the purple bruises ringed around his neck in horror. To scar someone's neck like that simply by attempting to choke them was inhumane. No ordinary human's grasp would make a mark that deep.

''...if they hurt you this much, why still follow them?'' you ask quietly, jaw clenching in impotent rage. They all look away, almost as if they were used to it.

''Let's just hurry up and find some sacrifices'' Hoseok shatters the silence, the stars on his mask shimmering along with the stars above.

''Do we have to do to this?'' you slightly grimace, hiding behind Jungkook's back.

''Worry not, we won't hurt you'' Jin's melodic voice chimes, knees bending down so he is leveled towards her on the ground. ''Look into my eyes...''

Her lids lower, the ocean blue of her eyes replaced by chilling dull ice. The innocent twinkle in her eyes vanished into a void of emptiness, which now stared straight into Jin's eyes helplessly.

The power behind each of their breathtaking eyes were unbelievable.

''Will you come home with us?'' he asks the two, who now adorn impassive and flat expressions.

''Yes. All for the Lord'' they reply monotonously.

And just like that, they managed to claim two 'sacrifices' who followed them into Area 51 like obedient puppies. What happened to them after?

They were observed by some old dudes in lab coats, and then sent off to be experimented on. If you had a way to stop it, you would but in this case you were helpless.

''LISA!'' you scream in delight, waving your hands frantically. Her head turns towards you, eyebrows tilting in a gesture of incomprehension.

''Stay back'' Taehyung warns, arms wrapping around you as he pulled you back. ''It'll take a while for their memories to return. She won't recognise you''

''Ain't she the one you compelled?'' Jungkook asks Taehyung, munching on a carrot.

''I remember, it was the day we first saw Y/N'' Jimin joins in, sending you a furtive glance. ''And that other kid, Kyle, we had to kidnap him but he ran off and got possessed''

''It's Kai'' you correct, as Jimin waves a hand dismissively.

After a while, the experimented teenagers had to go back inside for some extra checks, so everyone watching scattered away to do their own things.

A loud yawn floats into the air as your eyelids start feeling heavy, so you head to the second floor where your designated room was.

It was about 1AM. Today was a long day...

The older boys had already retreated to their rooms, so you were left with Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook.

''Ima go sleep, g'night'' Jungkook ruffles your hair before walking along the hallway to his room. Jimin nods in response, walking away to his room too.

You turn to Taehyung, who looks away when you catch him staring at you. ''Does your neck still hurt?'' you ask, feeling quite guilty. It was because of you, after all.

''Yes, you ludicrous fuck. Make up for it'' he leans against the wall, arms crossed.

You slam your hand on the wall beside him. ''I could kiss it better, if you want''

''What are you, a vampire?''

You purse your lips in thought, eyes checking him up and down. ''Now that I think about it, you'd make one sexy vampire'' you nod in satisfaction. ''V for Vampire...that suits you''

''rahh'' he mimics in fake enthusiasm.

''that was hot...'' you stand on your toes and plant a few kisses along his collarbones, alternating to softer kisses when you reach his neck. Lips trailing along his jawline, you reach his ear to whisper ''...daddy ''

He stiffens imperceptibly, an annoyed blush dusting his cheeks. ''fuck off. ugly''

You're smiling innocently when the familiar face of Urine- I mean Uri pops out of nowhere. ''Y/N and Taehyung? It's late, why aren't you guys sleeping?''

Her head peaks out of a room opposite you both, a soft smile on her lips.

''Y/N, go fuck off to your room and sleep'' Taehyung tells you, as a gasp is heard from Uri.

''That's so mean!''

''I know right?'' you wipe a fake tear, walking away. ''You sure love the word fuck. Why don't we try it sometime?''

''Bold'' Uri gasps in admiration as Taehyung covers his face, possibly to hide his blush. This guy sure blushes easily despite his lack of affection towards you.

As you walk away, you hear Uri softly murmuring, ''Come in''

And he walks into her room, closing the door behind him.
