Asa

We did it. 

We fucking won. 

It's a big win since it was against one of our rival teams. 

Everyone is super hyped as we head down stairs for the party, I know I am and Ridge is practically bouncing with energy beside me. 

"Peyton texted, said her and Seph are already here." Ridge says as we descend the stairs. 

Percy and her damn good luck kiss last night. 

Not only was I shocked that she actually yelled at Miles but then she surprised the fuck out of me by kissing me. 

Sure it was on the cheek but she still kissed me. I replayed that kiss over and over in my head last night like it was a real kiss. 

I'm completely and utterly fucked when it comes to this girl it's insane. 

Speaking of that petite brunette. 

"Hey guys, good game." She says before giving both Ridge and I a side hug. 

She smells like flowers and berries. Fucking sweet. 

I look down to see she's in a pair of black jeans and a teal top that has that little twist in the front right below her tits. 

Fuck me. 

"Thanks Seph, you should've seen twenty six came out of fucking no where. That shit team always plays fucking dirty." Ridge groans. 

The longhorns do like to play dirty, lucky everyone knows that and if you study their games well enough you can try to beat them at their own game while still keeping the plays legal. 

"Well either way you guys won which is super cool." Peyton says and I don't miss the way her eyes linger on Ridge a little too long. 

I also don't miss the way he searches her face after he says something like he wants to know her reaction to everything that comes out of his mouth. 

Percy seems oblivious to this though as she begins to talk to Miles. 

I guess they sorted everything out. Thank fuck for that. 

"Hey everyone we are playing spin the bottle, get your asses in the living room now!" Kylie shouts. 

We all head into the living room where a good chunk of the team sits along with some other people. 

Kylie is currently holding a coke bottle which she puts in the center of the circle. 

"Ok so remember who ever it lands on you have to kiss no exceptions. Unless of course you are related and no one here is -Miles and Seph step siblings don't count - so lets get started." She spins the bottle and it lands on Greg. 

They stand and, Greg walks over to Kylie. 

Once their kiss is over Kylie cheers, "I have always wanted to do that." Tanner glares at her and she just shrugs. I honestly can't tell if they're in the off part of their on and off relationship or in the on part. 

She passes the bottle over to Miles and he spins it. The bottle lands on some girl beside K.J.

He blushes as she leans forward and grabs his cheeks in both of her hands securely before crushing her lips to his. Not a single ounce of nerves in that girl and when they pull back Miles seems dazed. 

I think we just watched Miles get corrupted. 

The games continues for a while. 

"Ridge it's your turn." Kylie says handing him the bottle.

He spins it and the bottle lands on K.J. and both of their eyes widen as they stare down at the bottle. 

"Trader." Phoenix whispers to it. 

Peyton giggles from beside him, "Better get up and kiss your man."

"Oh I will." Ridge says as he leans over and plants a kiss on K.J.'s lips.

Everyone cheers as he sits back down, turning to Peyton he says, "I promise I was only thinking of you when his lips were on mine."

She swats his shoulder playfully, "Don't think about my lips Phoenix." He smirks, "That's a hard one to ask of me, blondie, but for you I'll try my very best." She shakes her head but a small smile plays on her lips. 

"Man you taste like fireball." K.J. says as he wipes his lips. Phoenix preens at that, fucking weirdo. 

"Next." Kylie says and hands Percy the bottle. 

She looks at it wide eyed before setting it on the ground and setting her hand on top.

"Spin it Percy." I whisper in her ear and she visibly takes a deep breath before spinning the bottle. 

It goes around and around and...

The fucking bottle lands on me.

I'm fucked. 

Persephone 

Playing spin the bottle was supposed to be fun. 

I assumed I'd probably have to kiss Phoenix and I was fine with that, but kissing Asa?

It feels like this is the start of something very confusing. Something very, very confusing. 

Everyone gets quiet in anticipation and Peyton bumps my shoulder, 'Go kiss him.' She mouths.

"Come on Seph, Asa is a great kisser." Kylie squeals from her spot on Tanner's lap. 

Asa stands and I do the same. I fix the sleeves of my teal shirt nervously.

It's just one kiss right?

Yeah one little itty bitty kiss with a friend. A friend I will have to see after this party is long over. 

"Let's go guys, I am not getting any younger here." Phoenix says and Peyton nudges his shoulder, "Leave them be." 

Asa and I take a step closer to each other. 

"One kiss." I whisper to myself. 

Asa is finally close enough to me that he has to look down to see me. 

"Ready Percy?" He asks and I look up, giving him a hesitant nod. 

He doesn't move and my nerves begin to rise. 

"What are you waiting for?" I whisper as he stares down at my lips. 

He still doesn't move and I can't take it anymore. 

Reaching up I grab the back of his head and bring him down to me. 

The moment our lips touch it's like those fireworks you see in the movies with the really dramatic slow-mo too. 

His lips are soft and smooth against my own. I wonder what chapstick he uses...not the time Seph. 

I think he's going to pull away but then I feel his hands grip onto my waist and pull me flush against him. 

My other hand comes up and intertwines in his brown messy hair and when his tongue slips into my mouth I am done for. 

The butterflies take over my stomach and chest as he kisses me deeper. I have never been kissed like this, gosh I knew he would be a good kisser but this is way better than good. 

It's like he knew my expectations and multiplied them by a hundred. 

"Get a room." Phoenix calls out and just like that we snap back to reality, ope there goes gravity...

Wow I need to stop. 

Asa removes his hands from my waist like I've burned him and I instantly wish he'd never let go. 

"There we did it, happy?" I ask sitting back beside Peyton. 

She nods, a knowing smile on her face, "That was some kiss."

It sure was. 

I know I want to do it again and again. I wonder if Asa feels the same. Did he feel the same fireworks I did? Does he have that compelling feeling I feel right now to be closer, the need to be in each others arms and never let go...

Asa clears his throat, "I think I'm gonna call it a night."

He's staring at the ground, not meeting a single persons eyes, especially mine and my heart falls into my stomach. 

"Oh come on, the party just started." Phoenix says but Asa shakes his head and heads towards the stairs. 

Hi ego, how are you right now? Not very good. 

"I think I'm going to head back to the dorm." I say standing and Peyton stands as well. 

"What, why?" She asks, concern written all over her features and in the tone of her voice. 

Maybe because I just had a life altering kiss and the said guy I kissed ran away from me like he couldn't get far enough fast enough. 

God, I can already feel the distance forming between us. He's going to push me away again, I just know it. 

"Just tired." I say and she nods, "Let me just go get my jacket and then we can go-"

I cut her off, "No stay here and have fun I'll be fine." I just really need to be alone right now. 

"Are you sure?" She asks suspiciously and I nod, "Yeah, promise."

"Ok." She says before giving me a quick hug. 

I head outside and wait for my uber to get here. God, everything is such a disaster. 

Tonight could've gone worse I try to remind myself. 

it's not like this guy I like basically ran away from me after we kissed. 

Oh wait he did.

A/N I just received devastating news......my aunt is coming to visit next month🖐😔

Also for the next month or so my posting schedule will be all over the place. I have my trip to the mainland as well as some other things but I promise to post as fast as I can!
