you sat down next to todoroki and he looked at you

todoroki: are you okay?

you smiled and nodded

todoroki: are you sure
y/n: yeah

you forcefully laughed and started writing down the notes in your notebook, occasionally spacing off.

aizawa: alright we're going to get into our groups and rehearse for the performance. get in your groups and do whatever it is you're doing

he said snuggling in his sleeping bag

todoroki: i'll see you at lunch
y/n: alright

you followed behind your group to the gym and sat down since nobody seemed to want to talk to you for some reason. it was time to start rehearsing so you stood in the back following everything mina was teaching you guys. you had a pretty good memory so you got the dance down after a few times and then sat back down, you didn't have the motivation to do anything and you still felt a little shaken up from the whole teacher situation.

mina: alright everybody! that's 5! good work today!

you were slouched back on the bleachers on your phone squirting some water in your mouth. lunch eventually came around and you walked out of the gym and saw todoroki waiting for you at the end of the hall

y/n: i'm so tired!
todoroki: why
y/n: I didn't get much sleep
todoroki: sucks to suck

you laughed and pushed him

y/n: how did it go
todoroki: same old same old, there's not much to practice to be completely honest
y/n: oh my bad I forgot you're a professional

he chuckled and shook his head

time skip, afterschool ~

y/n: i'm gonna go take a nap
todoroki: alright, im gonna go finish up some homework
y/n: come over when you're done?
todoroki: hm

he hummed in response, he left your dorm and you fell asleep listening to music.

bakugo: oi

todoroki turned around to see bakugo behind him

after your three hour "nap" todoroki walked in with some grapes in his mouth and in a bowl

todoroki: finally, jeez

todoroki: 6, lazy ass

you said reaching out to get some grapes

todoroki: we should go get something to eat
y/n: okay sure, let me just get changed
todoroki: i'll wait outside
y/n: alright

he walked out as you changed into some sweats and a long sleeve t-shirt and your slides. you opened the door but todoroki stepped infront of you before walking out

y/n: woah
todoroki: oops sorry, um actually can you help me with something really quick? before we go
y/n: sure, what is it?
todoroki: im having problems with my uh...s-soba...?
y/n: um...okay? what type of problems..?
todoroki: well as you know, I love it
y/n: yes i'm aware
todoroki: but do I love it a little too much?
y/n: uh..? okay what is your question here? i'm hungry and i'm trying to go eat
todoroki: no! I mean! I- I just think maybe I have an addiction..?

todoroki: yeah
y/n: to soba
todoroki: y-yeah...?
y/n: yeah we've been knowing that, now come on

he got a text and he checked his phone

todoroki: okay! let's go

you walked out of your dorm talking and then you looked up and stopped

everyone: happy birthday y/n!

all of your classmates popped out throwing confetti in the air and running up to you giving you a party hat, you stood there with your eyes wide open, not knowing what to do

mina: happy birthday!
tsu: happy birthday y/n
y/n: t-thank you..I... thank you..!

everyone gathered around you wishing you a happy birthday and hugging you. you stood there dazed and confused, it was the first time in years that you had actually celebrated your birthday since it was the same day your mother had passed away. you felt your eyes start to water and your mouth quiver

y/n: thank you guys.. you don't know how much this means to me..

momo: aw! baby don't cry!

momo hugged you and you hugged her back as the rest of the class did a group hug. then you heard a familiar voice, that sounded like the sweetest thing, something you hadn't heard in what felt like forever

bakugo: alright, move your asses!

everyone backed up and walked away to the food

bakugo: happy birthday, baby

he hugged you by the waist and leaned in for a kiss and you put your hand on his face

bakugo: eh?!
y/n: don't "bAbY" me
bakugo: what- why not I-
y/n: you straight ignored me for a whole month, that's why
bakugo: baby I-

he laughed

y/n: what's so funny!
bakugo: I had to ignore you
y/n: oh well thank you for that explanation, I feel a whole lot better now

you said sarcastically, he laughed and cupped your face

bakugo: I had to work, like an actual job
y/n: what? why
bakugo: initially, I asked the school if they could help us buy the decorations and stuff but they said no because they were already spending a lot on the school festival. so I looked for a job, I worked my ass off and I had to ignore you because I hated the way you looked at me when I lied about what I was doing.. the manager knew i was only working for that reason, which i made very clear after i yelled it in her face.. look the ignoring you..  it was wrong of me I know and i'm sorry I-

you grabbed him by his neck and kissed him

y/n: thank you

bakugo looked at you with such passion in his eyes. he hugged you tightly and you did the same

bakugo: thank you for being with me, for putting up with me and my shit.

you smiled and cupped his face

y/n: thank you for making my the happiest i've felt in a long time

he smiled and his eyes watered

y/n: are you gonna cry

you said smirking

bakugo: n-no! course not!

he said wiping his eyes

sero: alright you two love birds, can we cut the cake now!
y/n: cake? say less!

you said, smiling at sero. you put your hand on bakugos face and pushed him out of your way

bakugo: fuck you, sero!
sero: sorry bakubro, but sato over here makes some bomb ass cake and i've been waiting since he came out with it

they sang you a happy birthday, you blew your candles out, and then they smashed your face in the cake

y/n: bruhhh

you said, laughing and looking for napkins. todoroki was laughing at you and you were hitting him

todoroki: yes I did that, and i'll do it again

he said pointing at you

y/n: I hate you

you both laughed and he helped you clean the frosting off of your face. bakugo noticed and came over and snatched the napkins from todorokis hand and pushed him aside to help you clean your face. todoroki put his hands up as in surrender, rolled his eyes and walked away to the couch

y/n: jealousy is not a good look on you

you said, booping his nose

bakugo: shut up, dumbass

he finished cleaning your face and you guys sat down to eat some cake and the rest of the food that was brought

midoriya: h-happy birthday y/n! I didn't get to say it earlier because.. everyone was crowding around you
y/n: thank you midoriya!

you hugged him and he squirmed not knowing what to do

midoriya: she's..so..close..!

you let him go

y/n: you okay?
midoriya: y-yeah! I-I actually-
bakugo: damn deku! get the hell away from my lady!
midoriya: I-I-I was just wishing her a happy birthday! i'll be going now! sorry!

he ran off and you slowly turned to bakugo

y/n: why
bakugo: wha-
y/n: literally why are you so mean to him, his so nice!
bakugo: he's a small fry, an annoying nerdy small fry

you shook your head and chuckled
