lunch came around and you waited for todoroki, he came out of the door talking to momo.

todoroki: oh I didn't notice you waited I thought you left
y/n: why would I leave

you confusingly laughed

todoroki: is it alright if momo hangs out with us today?
y/n: yeah that's fine

you smiled at her, you guys started walking to the lunch room but it was mostly just momo and todoroki talking. you put your earbuds in and took your phone out.

y/n: i'm gonna go use the bathroom i'll be right back
todoroki: okay

you got up and walked over to the bathroom, did your business and walked back to the lunch table. they weren't there anymore 'did they really just ditch me' you thought. you shrugged your shoulders, grabbed your sandwich and walked up to the roof. only to see todoroki and momo on the roof sitting down where you would usually sit down

todoroki: oh y/n! uh we were going to wait for you but momo-
y/n: it's okay

you said, this time without a smile. you turned around and opened the door to go back down

todoroki: where are you going?
y/n: classroom
todoroki: why don't you stay here till the bell rings-
y/n: I need to finish some work
todoroki: oh okay.. i'll see you tonight for game night?
y/n: yeah
momo: game night? whats that?
todoroki: oh me, y/n, midoriya, denki, bakugo, kirishima, and jirou get together on tuesdays to play video games
momo: sounds fun! can I join?
todoroki: sure

you laughed weakly and walked back down to the classroom. aizawa was grading papers, surprisingly not sleeping.

aizawa: lunch isn't over yet-
y/n: yeah I know. I won't bother you don't worry.

you said sitting down with a blank face.

aizawa: ...

momo seems to be taking todoroki away, not that he was your property or anything but it felt like she was getting in between you and your best friend. you saved the conversation and went up to aizawa

y/n: you think I can switch seats with momo
aizawa: ..why would you do that
y/n: just asking
aizawa: I mean.. yeah

you walked back to your seat picked up your stuff and sat where momo would sit. lunch soon ended and everyone came in.

denki: hey y/n! uh...why are you sitting here?

he said throwing his arm over you

you said laughing and pushing him off

jirou: game night at your dorm tonight right?

jirou: you guys really think bakugo can beat y/n at mario kart?
denki: nah, but I can!

you said with your game face on, you dapped denki up and you all sat down. you look over at todoroki and he was happily talking to momo not even realizing.
