"Okay but I need to know...how long have you two been dating?" My mom asked excitedly as the waiter came with our desert.

"About a month?" I replied, looking at Harry to confirm because it felt like so much longer than that.

"And how exactly did you meet?" She asked, smiling the whole time.

"I was sharing the office with Wes & Harry."

"Very detailed honey, thanks." My mom rolled her eyes playfully, making me laugh.

"Well, we also live in the same apartment complex and just saw each other quite often."

"About that. I was wondering when you were gonna move out? Buy a fancy house maybe?" My dad asked curiously.

"I don't know. I love my apartment. I hadn't thought about moving out." I shrugged, shoving a spoon full of ice cream in my mouth.

"I could recommend a real estate agent to help you, if you'd like." My dad offered and I thanked him but I just hadn't really had the desire to move out just yet.

I loved living close to work and especially living close to Harry.

Later my mom engaged in a conversation with Harry and nudged my dad a little who finally joined their conversation. I, however just sat there enjoying them getting along so I decided to step in the background and just listen to them talking.

"You're a very fine young man Harry and you seem to make our daughter really happy." My mom said after my dad had paid the bill and we made our way to my apartment.

"What can I say? She brings out the best in me and I'm very happy as well." Harry replied and grabbed my hand, squeezing it.

When we arrived in front of the apartment complex I offered to drive my parents to the airport but they had already called a cab.

As we said our goodbyes I noticed my dad placing his hand on Harry's shoulder as he whispered something to him. I couldn't quite figure out what it was based on Harry's expression but I'm sure he'll tell me.

"You have no idea how happy I am for you honey." My mom said as I turned my head away from Harry & dad.

"Thanks mom." I smiled and we said our goodbyes.

"See you soon, my dear." Dad said as he joined us and pulled me in a hug as well.

As soon as the cab arrived my mom quickly said goodbye to Harry as well before the both of them got in the car. Harry wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my temple while we waved at them as the car drove off.

"What did my dad say to you?" I asked when we made our way inside.

"Always so curious." Harry shook his head laughing and pulled me towards the staircase.

"Tell me." I pouted as I let him pull me up the stairs.

"Only good things, Ana. I'm so relieved they like me." He replied and put his hand in my pocket in order to grab the keys to my apartment.

"I knew they would like you." I rushed past him through the door and jumped on the couch, making Harry chuckle.

"Yea yea." He waved me off and just decided to basically lay on top of me.

"I would like to breath, please." I pretended to gasp for air before we both started laughing like little children.

My phone started buzzing in my back pocket and Harry grabbed it before answering the call.

"Hey mate! How are you doing?" Harry asked and waved at the camera so whoever was calling was definitely facetiming me.

"I'm just peachy. You look different Ana...did you cut and dye your hair by any chance?" Wes joked, making me grin.

"Yea, I wanted to spice things up." Harry replied, trying to get his voice higher to match mine which was clearly impossible but funny to see him try.

"Ohh, in bed too then I assume? Harry would like that I'm sure."

"Wes!" I whined, covering my face as the both of them laughed.

"How are things with Valentina? We have yet to meet her for longer than three minutes and outside those hospital walls." Harry said, saying the same thing I have said more than once by now but Wes liked having her all to himself.

He isn't much different to Harry when it comes to that so I assume Harry just said it because he knew I would love to meet her properly.

"Things are great. When I'm not on bed rest anymore I'll be sure to invite you guys over or something." Wes promised.

"Bed rest." Harry repeated with a wink.

Boys.

"You know Harry, I've really come to love this 'I'm in love with Ana' version of you. It suits you." Wes commented and my cheeks were probably redder than ever before.

We haven't said those three little words to each other yet.

Suddenly we heard Wes' door bell ring through the phone and he said his goodbyes before hanging up, leaving us in silence.

"He ain't wrong you know." Harry whispered, resting his chin on his hand so he could look at me.

As if he could sense that I was over analyzing his words right now he spoke again.

"I love...this version of me."

Right.

Okay but why did he pause?

And why am I overthinking this?

"That's...good." I replied.

That's good? Really Ana?

"Yea." He chuckled and leaned down to peck my lips.

"You know what else is good?" He whispered close to my ear, making me shiver.

"Hmm?" I hummed, waiting for his answer.

"How much in love with you I am." He confessed, looking right at me with his beautiful green eyes.

"You are?" I asked, hoping I really understood what he had just told me.

"Yes. Truly, madly, deeply, foolishly, completely in love with you." He said with a wide smile on his face, making me tear up.

"I love you, Harry." I sobbed as he wiped away my happy tears. No one has ever loved me the way he does and I certainly have never loved anyone the way I love Harry.
