I woke up by someone brushing their hand up and down my arm as if trying to wake me up gently.

As I opened my eyes and turned around to look at Harry I remembered what had happened and realized all of it wasn't just a fever dream.

"We slept for a couple hours I think it's time to head back." Harry said and got up from the bed to open the blinds.

I wasn't used to taking naps so I was still trying to adjust to the time since it was late in the afternoon and not early in the morning like I expect each time I wake up.

"Meet you downstairs in fifteen." I mumbled, hoping that he understood the words that came out of my mouth. Harry nodded his head and went into his bathroom while I grabbed my phone and keys before making my way back to my own apartment.

I took a quick shower and got dressed into a pair of sweatpants and a comfortable hoodie. I didn't care about my appearance at all right now I just needed it to be comfortable.

I tied my hair up and moisturized my face before putting my shoes on.

When I arrived downstairs in the lobby Harry was already there, dressed in pretty similar clothes.

"We should stop to get some food on the way." He said and walked towards my car since his car was still at the company.

Since I still wasn't fully awake Harry offered to drive which I was really grateful for. On our way to grab some McDonalds I texted a guy named Oliver who was friends with my dad and has been working at the company for many years now. I made sure he knew that I wasn't going to come in tomorrow and probably the entire week so he could manage all the important stuff.

When we arrived back at the hospital Mary & Richard were still sitting in the same seats, looking more exhausted than six hours ago when we had left.

"We got food." Harry said, announcing our presence.

"You're back so soon? You could've rested a little longer you know." Mary said studying both of us to make sure we were alright.

"We're fully rested. No worries." Harry assured her.

"Yea. Fully rested." I chimed in but it didn't sound as convincing as I wanted, making everyone laugh a little.

We sat down and I realized I was starving the second I actually started eating.

Minutes turned into hours and before I knew it it was already night time. Richard & Harry decided to go grab some coffee for everyone, leaving me alone with Mary.

"So I've been meaning to ask...are you and Harry..." Mary trailed off, letting me fill in the blank myself.

"We're not." I replied, shaking my head and letting out a sigh.

"But you wish you were. Am I right?" She smiled at me and her smile alone reminded me so much of Wes.

"I do but he doesn't." I shrugged, pretending that it didn't faze me.

"We may have only met today but I can tell you the way that boy looks at you speaks a thousand words."

"We did have something going on not so long ago but I kinda messed everything up and he basically told me that nothing would ever happen between us again." I explained, shivering as my thoughts went back to that day.

"Just know honey that love seems the swiftest, but it is the slowest of all growths. If it's meant to be...it will be" Mary said, squeezing my hand after she said those wise words that I didn't know I needed to hear.

"Thank you." I whispered, smiling at her.

"Hello ladies. We got you some coffee fresh out of the machine down the hall." Richard suddenly said, announcing their presence.

Harry handed me a cup and I thanked him before he sat down opposite me. I watched him interact with Richard & Mary for a while and thought about what could've happened if I would've just told him my secret.

"Don't you guys want to go get some rest and freshen up too?" Harry asked after a while.

"No, we're alright sweetheart." Mary smiled at him, making him nod.

The later it got the more Harry & I separated each other from both Richard & Mary and one another. I was sat in the corner by the window and just stared outside into the night, while Harry took the other corner and Mary & Richard stayed in our original place.

All three of them seemed to be asleep when I finally turned my head away from the window. I got up and made my way to the bathroom since I really needed to use the toilet.

After that I redid my bun and stared at myself in the mirror. I looked like a mess so I didn't take long in the bathroom before making my way back.

"There you are." Harry said suddenly, scaring me because I thought he was asleep.

"I was just using the restroom." I explained, going back to my seat, opposite from where Harry was but a couple feet away.

"I was worried for a second." He admitted and leaned his head back against the chair.

"You shouldn't be." I replied, whispering the whole time so we wouldn't wake Mary & Richard but still loud enough so we could hear each other.

"Why not?" He asked, sitting up again.

"Forget it. Go to sleep." I waved him off and turned around to face away from him.

Instead of listening to what I said I heard his footsteps coming close before he sat down on the chair next to mine.

"What is it?" He asked confused.

"I have feelings for you Harry. I know I made a mistake by not telling you about becoming CEO but I was scared of losing you. Rightfully so may I add." I confessed, sitting up straight to look at him.

"We can't. I can't. You're my boss Ana. This isn't going to work." He replied, shaking his head as if he was more than convinced.

"And why not? Nothing will change. I'm still me and you're still you except that I'm not the intern in your office anymore."

He let out a sigh but didn't say anything so I talked again...

"Didn't what happen mean anything to you?"
