"Good morning! You must be our new intern. Miss...Griffin." The woman at the front desk of my families company said as soon as I stepped foot into the building.

"I am." I nodded with a smile. Hopefully, I wouldn't forget the fake last name my Dad gave me. Griffin. Ana Griffin.

"I'll call down an employee to pick you up, right away. You can take a seat right over there if you'd like." She said and pointed to a rather big seating area where a couple people were already seated, reading magazines, being on their phones or just staring holes into the walls.

I thanked her and did just that. The chairs were much more comfortable than I expected them to be.

It's not like I've never been here before it's just that my father constantly changes stuff to make his employees and visitors more comfortable and to create a great working environment. My Dad always said that it's one of the most important things.

Apparently, it was working quiet well because since the moment I arrived every single employee had a smile on their face and I guess that speaks for itself.

"Ana Griffin?" I heard a male voice calling my name.

I looked up and saw a guy smiling at me. I grabbed my purse and got up before walking over to him.

"Hey, I'm Wesley but you can just call me Wes. Welcome to Clarens Magazine. Follow me." He said and I did as I was told.

"I'm going to show you the rest of the building on our break since we have a lot to do before the MET gala which is in exactly 29 days. You came just in time to experience the most stressful time of the year." He laughed as he pressed the button by the elevators.

"That sounds very exciting." I admitted right when the elevator doors opened with a 'ding'.

We got in and Wesley pressed a button that apparently would take us to the ninth floor.

"So, what I am, or more like we are doing today and probably the whole week, is getting in contact with representatives of fashion designers and celebrities for exclusive interviews or a picture series of a behinde the scenes type of thing where a celebrity is being fitted or getting ready for the actual gala. Just anything exclusive really. It's important for our Magazine to stand out and get content that you would only find here."

The elevator door opened and we got out, walking to one of the many offices that had a glass front and door so you could look inside. Some offices only had one desk inside and some had two or even three desks. Everyone seemed busy working and running around with files or probably their fifth coffee of the day.

"Right over there is my office. I share it with another dude but seems like he's not in there right now. Anyways, like I said the important thing is to get something exclusive best case is when we get to film a celebrity getting ready and have them do a quick interview." He explained and opened the glass door to his office.

Wesley walked to the other desk that was facing his and pushed the office chair towards me so I had somewhere to sit. I looked around the office as Wesley turned the radio on for a comfortable background noise.

The office was decorated with so many amazing photographs from all different kinds of places that there was barely any white paint peeking through from the walls.

It felt like I was in a museum right now, admiring the artwork on the walls. When I looked out the glass front and through other offices I noticed that every office was so different and diverse. Some of them where just simple and modern while some of them where decorated to a full extend or painted in crazy colors.

I've only ever been to my fathers office at the top floor, never anywhere else than there. My father told me how he lets the employees decorate their offices but I didn't know to this extend.

"I'm going to check my emails first to see if any representatives replied to my mails because if that's the case than being quick with answering is key. Some representatives send the same email to for example the top three magazines they want to work with so if we're the ones being quick with answering we're more likely to snatch the deal." Wesley explained while staring at the monitor.

"Are you the only one with this task or are more people behind this?" I asked, even though I knew the answer since I had to do this last year as well and I was also the one who arranged a behind the scenes fitting and getting ready with Beyoncé which was highly requested from many magazines. I, however, was more excited over the fact that we got Zendaya last year.

"It's a lot of people actually. That assures us that we're always the fastest at replying and that we can reach even more representatives. There's usually a list so we don't end up contacting the same people over and over again."

He handed me the list of people and I recognized a couple designer names on there like Alexander Wang, Michele Alessandro and Tommy Hilfiger.

As for celebrities, there were even more like Zendaya, Blake Lively or Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopa Jonas.

"Alright see, here we have an email from-" The door opened and Wesley & I both looked up to see who was interrupting.

"Oh, it's you. Why did you have to open the door so aggressively, man." Wesley shook his head in amusement.

"Sorry, I'm having the worst day. I spilled fresh coffee over my hand, two buttons of my shirt mysteriously fell off...not one but two! My car wouldn't start this morning and we didn't get a Beyoncé exclusive this year because apparently 'I was too late' at replying. The representative literally send an email at four in the fucking morning." He took a deep breath after revealing all this information to us.

"And where the fuck is my chair?" He cursed, seeming very annoyed at how stressful his morning was and it wasn't even 10am yet.

"Sorry, I can get another one." I said, quickly standing up. The guy looked up in surprise as if he's just noticed me now.

"It's fine, I'll go get one. I'm Harry by the way."
