"So, I was thinking. When you overtake the company could you like put taco tuesday on the menu?" Wes asked after work as we walked out the building.

"Sure." I laughed and pushed Wes playfully just because he never failed to make me laugh no matter what and I was more than grateful for him.

"You're the best. See you tomorrow!" He hugged me good bye and got into his car, driving off.

I took my time walking home because the weather was rather nice outside and I didn't have much to do at home anyways.

When I pulled open the door to the apartment complex I turned a little and saw Harry making his way down the path as well.

I quickly pushed the elevator button to avoid any upcoming awkwardness but as soon as I heard the door to the building open, it was too late.

I knew for a fact he was going towards the stairs so there was no point in freaking out right. Maybe I was hoping for him to say something?

But before I could think about those ridiculous thoughts the door to the staircase slammed shut telling me that he was gone.

I sighed and stepped into the elevator as the doors opened and shut behind me as soon as I pressed the one of the buttons.

Just when I arrived in my apartment my phone rang and I saw that my dad was calling.

"Hey dad!" I answered the phone and plopped down on the couch, stretching out my legs.

"Hey honey! How are you doing? How's work?" He asked his usual questions but I know what the real reason for his call was other than asking how I was.

"So your mom and I talked and we decided that we would take off to our first destination by the end of next month."

"Next month?" I asked, sitting up straight.

"Yes. We know you're ready Ana and it's not like I'm out of this world. I've thought you everything you need to know and you have amazing employees by your side so what's there to worry about am I right?"

"I guess so." I somewhat agreed but I was still a little scared. However, knowing that I had help if I needed it made me feel a little more at ease.

"We were thinking about putting you on the cover of next months issue to announce it if that's alright?" Dad asked and I agreed if that was what he wanted.

"I'm so excited, honey. You have no idea."

"Me too, dad. Love you." I said and soon we hang up and I fell into the cushions of my couch yet again, feeling exhausted.

There wasn't too much time until next month and there had to be done a lot until then. I took a quick shower and relaxed for the rest of the evening before going to bed early.

The next morning I woke up by my phone ringing and without looking I picked up.

"Yea?" I asked, rubbing eyes to adjust to the little light coming from the blinds.

"It's Wes. I'm sick so I won't be coming in today." His voice sounded very raspy and exhausted.

"Oh no. Text me if you need anything ok? I'll come by your apartment later to bring food." I announced and he just hummed, probabpy not finding the strength to answer.

"Get well soon Wes and see you later." I said and he hummed again before hanging up. Poor guy.

I looked at the clock and my alarm would've went off in two minutes anyways so I got up and got ready for the day.

About an hour later I left my apartment and walked towards my car since Wes' apartment was a little farther away from the company and in the opposite direction of my apartment so it was more convenient to take the car today.

Soon I arrived at work and got to the office in no time. Harry wasn't here yet or maybe he already left the office to do something else. Either way I was fine with him not being here.

I texted Macy who was in her office a couple floors over me and we made plans to eat lunch in the cafeteria today sonce we haven't seen each other this week.

As I checked my mails on my phone I joticed my mom had send me pictures of a couple outfits she thought would look nice on the cover and agreed that some of them looked very nice.

Knowing that I'd be on the next cover was kind of nerve wracking because I wasn't a model and I just never know how to pose but I guess it'll be fine if someone tells me what to do like Georgia and Darren did yesterday.

Two hours later I was bored out of my mind and decided to go to the photography floor to see if Harry was there or even better just anyone else who would at least talk to me.

As I got down there Harry was nowhere to be found but I didn't need to because I saw Darren sitting in front of a computer just clicking around.

I approached him and saw that he was editing pictures.

"Hey Darren." I announced my presence and he looked up, smiling at me.

"Hey Ana. I'm editing the pictures from yesterday. The models did the same poses as you, wanna see?"

I nodded and sat down on the chair next to him, admiring the gorgeous pictures that he was showing me.

"They look amazing!"

"I agree. Now I'm going to show you the ones of you and Harry. They look amazing too not gonna lie." He smiled and clicked through random folders before the pictures plopped up on the screen.

I was speechless.

"You two have great chemistry and you look so comfortable with each other. I mean, at the beginning you two were so awkward just standing there but then...just wow." Darren gushed and clicked through the pictures.

"Want me to send them to you email?" He asked, making me finally snap out of it.

"I guess." I nodded and he did just that after I gave him my e-mail address.

I thanked him and decided to walk back to the office since he seemed to be busy working on the pictures before I had arrived.

As I stood in the elevator I opened the email and stared at the pictures.

Somehow the pictures really got to me and I look so...just so different.

I closed the app as I arrived on the floor and walked to the office. Just before I opened the door I noticed Harry sitting at his desk and I took a deep breath before going inside.
