|William|

There was knock on my door. I looked up from the contract I've been proofreading for the last hour, placing it on the the bedside table and heading to the door. Opening it up to see Angie standing there, scrolling through my social media account.

"It's three in the morning what are you doing here?" I asked, rubbing the exhaustion out of my eyes.

"I was making sure you were ready to meet your father at eight." She walked inside, setting a brown bag down on the table.

I shut the door before yawning, "that's in five hours."

"Well I know how you have to prepare yourself mentally." She stopped herself, "I'm sorry. Its just been a very stressful day."

"It's fine," I say to shake off the tension that formed in the room.

Tyson Everest might be my biological father but he'll never be a Dad to me.

"I bought doughnuts." She smiled while glancing over at the bag. "Got your favorite."

I raised an eyebrow in suspicion. "Alright what's this really about."

"Nothing." She pulled out a powdered white doughnut and began to munch on it nervously.

I pulled up a seat, took the doughnut from her hand, and sat it on the napkin.

"Alright fine." She sighed in defeat. Rubbing off the powder from her lips. "I overheard Antonio talking to who I'm guessing his father about getting a new manager for the show and it sent me in complete panic mode." She began to breath heavily.

"Alright breath." I said while mimicking deeps breaths. Breathing in and out slowly. Angie and I kept steady eye contact until she started to breath a normal pattern again.

"I promised you that I'd do anything in my power to not get you fired." I reminded her.

"I know. I know it's just-"

"And I'm not the type of person to break promises." I cut her off also.

"The girl pretty by the way."

"What?" I said in shock. More of like a natural reaction of some sort.

"She's pretty. Slightly long brown hair. Brown eyes that reflects a hint of amber. Fair skin. I'd mistaken her as an actress or model any day." She repeated herself with a smile.

I paused at the realization that I completely forgot what Cassie looked liked these past two weeks. The only thing that stuck were those brown eyes. Those brown eyes were almost impossible to forget. It made me wonder if she remember me. Yet that must be difficult not too since my face is plastered everywhere nowadays.

"William?" Angie quickly raised her hand I front of my face.

"Uh." I said faking a yawn. "Imma go to bed. Big day tomorrow."

"Okay." She smiled friendly. "Thanks for everything my the way."

"It's no big deal. You've become a mother to me over the years."

She smiled at that again before shutting my hotel door. Leaving the doughnut bag. I peered inside the bag and saw the powder doughnuts just sitting there.

I glance down at my stomach, starring at the six pack that took me years to achieve. "Eh, one won't hurt." I said before pulling on out of the bag.

"William!"

"William open this door!"

"I'm gonna count to three else Bob gonna ram this door down."

"One...two...."

There was a loud crash that shot my body into complete shock. Bob came ramming through my hotel door so loud that I thought the entire streets of New York City could feel the shaking and pounding of my heartbeat. Angie inspected the door to find no splinters or any noticeable damages whatsoever before turning to me. Bob crossed his arms and I couldn't tell if he was holding in a laugh since smiling seems impossible with this guy.

"Oh you better be celebrating right now that I decided to come check on you an hour early." Angie folded her arms, starring down at me.

I grabbed my phone and realized it was seven, which meant I only had an hour to mentally prepare myself for the meeting with my father.

Angie walked over to my bedside, gripped the covers, and quickly pulled them off like those magicians trying to not break the glasses on top of the table cloth.

She gasped at what she saw before breaking out in complete laughter.

There on my bed held the remains of at least three powdered doughnuts. The powder was stuck on everything as if it melted due to my body heat.

For a split second I thought I heard Bob laugh but when I glanced over, he held the straightest face I've every seen.

"Shower now!" Angie demanded.

I yawned before pulling myself out of the bed. Walking towards the bathroom. I overheard Angie tell Bob to watch my door while she goes make sure Cassie's awake.

When I walked out of the shower. proceeding to dry myself with the fancy towns the hotel stocked I noticed and outfit already planned and laid out in front of me. Simple black jeans and a white tee-shirt. At this rate this outfit will become my signature, then again I'm pretty sure this is what all guys my age are wearing nowadays.

I grabbed the white top and pulled it over myself after putting on the black jeans. I stood in front of the mirror and raked my fingers through my hair before putting on the necessaries and brushing my teeth and extra couple of seconds. You never know what my father might attempt to do. Or the fact that I don't wanna be talking with powder sugar stuck in my teeth.

"Ready boss?" Bob asked when I walked outside. I finished putting on my black athletic jacket I got from a brand deal before nodding in agreement.

Bob guided me to the elevator before pressing the up button. Taking us upwards and a feet steps closer to where the meeting was being held.

I walked out into the hallway, completely ignoring what floor I was on or even how high up I was I'm the air. Bob opened the door and I walked in slowly. He stood outside the door and I knew that because I couldn't sense him by me anymore.

"William!" My father stood up from his slick black makeshift deal which was actually just a hotel table and shook my hand. Patting me on the back hard. "So glad you're in a good mood."

I smiled briefly before taking a seat. Looking around there was no sign of Cassie.

I heard the door open behind me just a few minutes after. I turned around and my jaw almost hit the floor.

It was almost staring at angel. Her brown hair was straightened, her makeup looks like it was professionally done, and those brown eyes. The sun hit them perfectly reflecting that shade of amber Angie was talking about this morning.

"Cassie. Glad you could make it." My father stands up. Holding his hand out which she gracefully accepts.

When she took a seat next to me, a wave of the floral perfume sent me into a trance. It was my fathers voice that brought me back to reality.

"So I suppose you guys already went of the contract?" He says. I nodded. In the corner of my eye I saw Cassie nodded too.

"So I guess you already know the basics. For the next three months you'll be known officially as a couple. You'll go out on the town, especially during paparazzi hour. Hold hands, hug, kiss, you know all that couple stuff. And at the end of the three months Cassie," he gestured to Cassie, "will break your heart in front of everyone."

Ouch.

I caught Cassie looking at me in the corner of her eye.

"Any questions, concerns, negotiations?" He asked. That's one thing I've learned is you never try to negotiate with my father. It never comes out in your favor and based on Cassie's quietness, I guess she new that too. I bet Angie warned her.

"Alright sign here." He flipped to the back and handed us a pen each before pointing at the dotted line for our names.

Cassie signed first before handing the paper to me, still no eye contact to be made.

I picked up the pen before placing it gently on the paper. Signing my life away to my father once again.

"Great." My father clapped his hands before looking st his watch. "Wow that was quick. You guys got an hour to mingle before you head our to breakfast together."

"Breakfast?" I blurted out.

"Yes William. You'll be required to take her out to breakfast and dinner every day until the paparazzi starts to pick up that this mystery girl -Cassie- is your girl."

"Right of course." I smiled before lifting myself out of my seat offering my hand to Cassie. She looked up at it and just stared before grabbing ahold of it.
