-Xavier's POV

"Alright Theo, what did you do?"

I look out the window of the car to see us pull up in front of the courthouse. I'm wearing the nice suit Heather has requested and Luca is wearing a matching dress suit. Theo kills the engine and gets out without answering me further frustrating me. I want to see my sweetheart and he brings me here instead. I grumble while getting out of the car while Theo goes to the back getting Luca out of the backseat. I straighten out my suit giving a pointed look toward Theo. 

"So I may need you to sweet talk a judge to get me out of some speeding tickets." I clench my fist and turn towards him while he gives me a sheepish smile and scurries towards the door. 

"Dad, when can we see momma?" I look down at my son holding my hand. 

"As soon as we leave here son." I tug his hand and we begin walking up where Theo has already went. Once we get inside I see Theo waving at us to follow him. I roll my eyes but still follow him. 

He goes to a door holding it open for me. I walk in and am stunned by what I see. Theo chuckles to the side of me as Luca lets goes of my hand racing towards my sweetheart standing in front of me. She leans down to collect him in her arms. I then let my feet lead me towards the front. Heather stands up in a white dress that has a plunge at her breast. She turns around to hand over Luca to Cami and I see some intricate details of the dress on the back. The dress is simple yet beautiful showing off her tan long legs.  

"Hello my love." 

She says gently while taking my hands while kissing my cheek. I still look around confused causing her to chuckle. I see Cami beaming while holding Luca. Theo is now standing right behind me and I see a judge standing there with a gleam in his eyes. 

"Sweetheart, what?" I trail off not knowing what to say. 

"Yesterday evening you made a deal with me and today it is my turn." I raise an eyebrow and feel my heart race begin picking up. The judge hands Heather two pieces of papers. "These are my two contracts for you." 

She hands me the papers and I read the top of each of them. My eyes begin glazing over while trying to comprehend all of this. 

"In this hand you are holding the Certificate for marriage." She says gently while cupping my cheek. "In this hand you are holding the adoption paper for me to sign for Luca to officially be mine." 

I hear a gasp and see Luca with his mouth hanging open and his eyes too become glossy. I chuckle along with Heather. I put the papers in one hand and pull Heather into a tight hug. I hold her for a minute trying to reign in my emotions. I feel a tear roll down my cheek as she pulls back. She wipes away the lone tear and takes the paperwork handing back over to the judge before taking both of my hands. 

"Xavier Sanford. You told me there was no negotiations on us getting engaged." I grip her hand tighter nodding still not being able to form any words. "Now I am telling you... I do not want to wait. I don't want to have any big wedding." She pauses as I release a shaky breath. "I do however want our son to officially be mine as well before we wed." 

She turns her head to Cami who hands Luca over to her. She places him on her hip as he looks at her with tears on his cheeks. 

"Lil man, will you have me as your mom?" He nods his head still smiling with tears running freely. He hugs her tightly while I feel my hands shake. I watch as she walks over to the judge who hands her a pen that she takes signing the adoption certificate. After she signs the judge looks to me. I take a deep trembling breath and step up to him. I take the pen signing as well. Once signed, I look down at the signature of my soon to be wife. 

"Heather Drake is hereby Luca Sanford's legal guardian." 

The judge says and I see Luca look down at the paper picking it up with shaky hands of his own. He smiles and throws his arms tightly around Heather who is now crying as well. I pull them both into my arms giving us a chance to embrace the moment. 

"All right love birds, we are only half way done." Cami says making us chuckle. She holds her arms open for Luca who lets go of Heather to jump into hers. I chuckle but continue holding my sweetheart to my embrace. She turns her head up to look directly at me. She gently tugs herself backwards taking my hands into hers. I still feel the dampness from the trail the tears left on my cheeks. My smile still fully intact looking into the ocean blue eyes that have captured me since the moment I saw them. 

"Now Mr. Sanford. I am standing here wanting nothing more than to become your wife." Heather says with teary eyes and a wide smile. I chuckle as I lean forward giving her a hard kiss. 

"The pleasure would be mine Ms. Drake." I say against her lips. I lean back as the judge then begins. I see Cami holding Luca on her hip behind Heather. Theo I believe is still standing behind me but I can't look away from the love of my life. I grip her hands firmly in mine. 

"Now Ms. Drake has prepared her own vows." I finally realized what he just said. 

"Xavier, when we first met I thought you were extremely attractive yet slightly boastful." I chuckle along with her. "I can honestly say that I wasn't prepared for you however the way you made me feel couldn't be ignored. I felt safe, protected, and most of all loved." She grips my hands a little firmer taking a breath. "I will forever be grateful for everything you have given me and promise from this day forward that I will continue to love, care and cherish you. I am completely and madly in love with you Xavier and you will forever be the key to my heart." 

I watch as she wipes away her tears while I chuckle at her cuteness. The judge turns to me and I feel lost for a split second. 

"The first time I met you, I was captured by your incredible voice. Although the song told me to keep breathing, I couldn't catch mine." I watch as Heather makes a shocked face making me chuckle. "After that evening, I searched and searched when fate stepped in and you found me instead. You saved my son, and in all honesty.. you saved me." I reach up wiping her tears feeling her soft skin in my palm. "I am captured by your beauty, your kindness and your love every minute I am near you. I have never felt such a pull to any person in this world before. You took my son in as your own without a second thought and allowed me entrance to your heart. You invade my thoughts, my feelings, and my dreams every minute of every day and I'd be damn if I had it any other way. I am utterly possessed by you and I will forever be only yours as you are mine. I am forever going to thank the gods for giving such a woman to me. You saved me and brought me back to life. I love you Heather Sanford and vow to worship you all the days of our lives."

"Damn." We both laugh turning to Theo who just realized he said that out loud. I turn back to Heather and the judge has us place wedding bands on each other which were simple and elegant. I couldn't get over Heather doing all of this. 

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." 

That's all I need to hear to crash my lips to Heather's delicate ones. I allow all the emotions to flow through the kiss. She is my wife, the mother of my children and most importantly the love of my life. I feel her grip the back of my neck capturing my lips more firmly to hers. I pull back slowly still having my forehead connected to hers. 

"I can't believe you did this sweetheart." I whisper to her. She smiles brightly and pecks my lips again. 

"I could not wait." 

"I'm glad..."
