- Heather's POV

I cuddle closer to the heat while I felt arms envelope my waist tightly. I pried my opens to look around. I was laying on a very firm chest. I inhaled deeply and recognized that scent immediately. I relaxed against him and lifted my head up to look at his face. His slight stumble on his chin, his brows relaxed and his luscious pink lips. I gently lift my fingers and trace his jawline followed by his lips. He begins to smile however keeps his eyes closed. 

"Good afternoon sweetheart." He slowly opens his eyes and blinks down at me with his electric blue eyes. The blues eyes I could escape and get lost in. I smile at him and he gently cups my chin. I realize what position we are in and can feel the heat creeping up my neck while I gently bite my bottom lip. I hear a groan and look up to see Xavier staring at me intently. He gently removes my lip from my teeth. He begins leaning towards me when it hits me. He has a girlfriend?! What are you doing!! I pull away abruptly and sit up causing Xavier to sit up as well. I begin to slide away before I swiftly feel Xavier jump on top of me pinning me down. "What is wrong?"

"Xavier, we can't do this. Your in a relationship and I am your son's teacher. This is-" 

I get cut off abruptly by feeling Xavier's soft lips pressed against mine. I melt into his touch and release a soft moan. I feel him begin devouring my lips once the moaned was released. He pushes his knee between my two legs causing me open up for him. He relaxes his body into mine and I can feel every part of him press further into me. I hear him groan against my lips as I lick his bottom lip for entrance. He pulls away and rest his forehead against mine as we both try to slow down our breathing. 

"Sweetheart, I am NOT in a relationship... yes you are my son's teacher however he sees you as so much more than his teacher. And you... you are mine." He gently kisses my lips. 

"Xavier, you can't- we can't." I say barely audible however he heard me. 

"I know you are hiding something and I am not leaving here til I help you... Let me in Heather." 

I close my eyes and exhale slowly...

-Xavier's POV

I lift my head gently from hers and look down at the beauty beneath me. She is contemplating it. I can see the conflict in her eyes. I peck her lips again to reassure her that I am not leaving. Ever.

"Sweetheart, I am not going anywhere..." I whisper to her causing her eyes to flicker to mine. Those deep blue ocean eyes looking at me with so many questions. God how gorgeous she is. 

"Xavier, I don't want you or Luca hurt." She whispers back to me causing me to grip her neck and side slightly tighter. 

"I will not let anyone hurt you Heather, you mean to much to Luca... and to me." 

"I am hiding from an ex boyfriend." She says with her lip slightly trembling. I pull her into a side embrace and feel her clench my shirt tightly in her hands. I kiss her forehead and let my lips linger there. I wait a few minutes waiting for her breathing to begin evening out. 

"Tell me." I whisper softly. I hear her take a deep breath and exhale. Her breathing is still off however she begins as I gently stroke her arm in reassurance.

-Heather's POV

"I met him when I was 15. He was 18 years old at the time. He felt attached to me from the moment we met. I thought it was incredible to have his attention at first..." I took a deep breath and felt him kiss my forehead gently. "It quickly became too much. He didn't want me to ever leave his side. He wouldn't let me hang out with any of my friends and eventually started trying to make me turn against my family. My father could see what was happening and made me end things with him which I was thankful for."

"There's more." He stated rather than questioning. I cleared my throat and continued.

"He didn't leave me alone. It came to the point where my brother was with me everywhere so there was no chance of him getting to me..." I began feeling tears run down. "One night though, my brother went out with some friends and I tagged along. He grabbed me as I was going to the restroom and he attempted to force himself on me. I-" 

"Sweetheart, you don't have to..." He whispered to me but I could her the underline tone of anger lying there. His body was tense again mine. 

"My brother found me in time and the police were called out. He was taken to jail however didn't stay in there too long. My family is aware of everything and due to the laws, after the restraining order, we really couldn't do anything... Not until he messes up. I didn't want to chance it so I have been moving around ever since." I take a deep breath and press myself further into Xavier which he equally wrapping his arms tighter around me. I feel him take some deep breaths to come down his own emotions. I lean up and kiss his neck causing him to slightly relax. 

"What is his name Angel?" He asks looking at me intently for an answer. His eyes blazing with flames dancing in them. 

"Not today Xavier." I whisper shaking my head. He doesn't push it and gently rolls me over so he is on top of me. I lay my head back against the mattress as he wipes away the fallen tears on my cheeks. I stare into those icy blue eyes. 

"Thank you sweetheart for opening up to me. I promise you, I will NOT let any harm come to you." He says pecking my nose. I nod my head but don't answer. No one can save me, he will always find me. 

"Does your family know where your at?" I shake my head dropping my gaze and frowning. He gently tilts my chin up to continue looking into his eyes. "You have loved ones here."

I giggle which causes confusion to cover his face. I shake my head thinking about my crazy best friend. "Just thinking about Cami."

"Is that the roommate who just pointed a gun at me earlier?" I laugh loudly not at all surprised by that. 

"Yes, she is like a sister to me. She may be just a little crazy but she was raised in military life. There's no one I trust more than her." 

"Military?" He raises an eyebrow at me and I just nod my head at him. 

"I think Theo may like my friend." He grins but I see a knowing look in his eyes. 

"I will guarantee it." 

"Well-"
