"Alright, we're done for this episode of LingLing40Hours!" Eddy cheered, leaning back on his chair.

Brett just looked at him and smiled. Not only was a relaxed Eddy one of the best things he could ever ask for, but the scene reminded him of the "But can you do this?" Pewdiepie meme. And God, did he love Pewdiepie. The shorter violinist giggled and his friend turned towards him with a questioning glance.

"What's so funny?" Eddy asked.

"Ah, nothing. Just a meme submitted to us that came to my mind."

Eddy raised an eyebrow at his friend, who embarrassedly looked away. He scratched the back of his neck and sighed as he tried to relax. Just like Eddy's anxiety producers were cockroaches, Brett's anxiety producer was, simply... Eddy. Which was ironic, because he loved spending time with his best friend, so much.

What made Brett so anxious recently, though, is the fact that he had something to tell Eddy. Something... Interesting, and important. But mostly important. For the last few weeks, his feelings and emotions have been bretty confusing. He felt as if his best friend had somehow grown even more important to him than before. And, in normal circumstances, this wouldn't scare him; they cared for each other, since they've met at the beginning of their teenage years.

Why wouldn't the current situation be normal, would you ask? Well, the level of importance for his best friend had seemed to grow past the "friend" stage, if you know what I mean (I'm sure you do). As the youngsters in 2018 would say: Brett realized he had a crush on Eddy.

Even when practicing, his thoughts were filled with this boy, and for a long time he didn't understand why. This day was the day he would finally reveal his true feelings.

"Hey Eddy.."

"Mmh? What's up?" he looked genuinely intrigued with what Brett was about to say.

"Can I tell you something? It's important."

"Go for it, bro."

Ouch. "Bro'd" like too many times before.

"I, uh... I like you."

"Yeah, me too dude, we're friends."

Damnit Eddy, you just don't get it!..

"No, Eddy, that's not what I mean."

The taller violinist straightened his back in surprise. What could Brett possibly mean? There's no way he could... He opened his eyes wide as he understood.

"I really, really like you."

There we go. The sentence was said. Brett let his head fall into his hands in shame, because he was sure to be rejected. For all he knew, his feelings would not be reciprocated and had no reason to be.
Eddy took a deep breath and replied:

"Me too."

Brett lifted his head and looked straight into Eddy's eyes. They locked in that position for what could've been seconds, minutes, hell, even hours!.. Then Eddy started learning forward, closing his eyes. When Brett realised what this was all about, he did the same and their faces were just millimeters apart. Until suddenly, Eddy pulled back in a shock.

"Damnit! The camera's still on!"
