⠀⠀There was something about this kiss that had Jungkook dwelling on a past experience. It was nothing like the movies. It didn't have Jungkook seeing stars, nor did the kiss carry any passion. From the way Lucas was gripping Jungkook's waist tightly and kissing his lips roughly, it was apparent that his actions were driven by lust. He was reliving the same kiss he shared with Chanyeol—a kiss without meaning or adoration.

⠀⠀The sudden contact had taken Jungkook for a loop, and he wasn't even kissing back, but rather frozen. However, when he finally came to his senses, he cupped Lucas' cheeks and aggressively pushed him away. Jungkook coughed as he caught his breath and wiped his lips with his wrist in disgust. That guilt he had felt at the party had only doubled in size when he looked up at Lucas. Whether it was a consensual kiss or not, he felt like he had betrayed Taehyung in a way.

⠀⠀"L-Lucas, what are you d-doing? I have- I have a boyfriend, and- and I thought you were s-straight, and you didn't even a-ask for my permission, and- there's just so many things wrong with this!" Jungkook went off in a choppy tangent.

⠀⠀Lucas snickered and shook his head in disbelief. "I never said I was straight, sweet thing. You simply assumed," he husked as he leaned back in. "I'm a little bi-curious, if you must know."

⠀⠀"I think you're m-missing the bigger picture here! I have a boyfriend!" Jungkook exclaimed, repeating the second phrase with more emphasis than last time.

⠀⠀"I heard you the first time, sweetheart," Lucas said cooly and then brushed his thumb pad against Jungkook's bottom lip. "Doesn't it get lonely, dating someone so far away? You're bound to crave affection from someone in real life."

⠀⠀Jungkook's nerves were practically tangible at this point with how apparent they were. Gulping at the sudden contact from Lucas again, Jungkook muttered, "N-No, it's not like that—"

⠀⠀"Think about it, Jungkook," Lucas interrupted, voice throaty. "I can do for you what he can't. I can kiss you, hug you, take you out for dates, touch you." Lucas paused as he lowered in towards Jungkook's ear and whispered, "I can even... fuck you."

⠀⠀Lucas' seducing and coaxing only made Jungkook's skin crawl and his blood boil. Jaw clenched and eyebrows furrowed, Jungkook slapped Lucas across the face. "You- you think I'm just s-some slut?! You think I spread my legs for any guy that gives me attention?! Huh, is that what you think??"

⠀⠀Lucas rubbed at his reddening cheek with a hiss of pain and scrunched an eyebrow in irritation. "Relax, dude."

⠀⠀"No! I'm not going to relax!" Jungkook snapped. "I thought you wanted to my f-friend- I trusted you! And- and do you know how stupid this makes me look?! I literally fought with my boyfriend over you b-because I was convinced you only wanted to be friends."

⠀⠀Before Lucas could respond, Jungkook grabbed the door handle to the car and looked back at him. "If there's anything I hate more, it's people taking advantage of my kindness. Whatever you thought we were, c-consider it over. Don't talk to me, don't text me, don't sit next to me in class, don't even look in my direction. Got it? Good."

⠀⠀"Jungkook- wait!" Lucas pleaded and Jungkook only ignored his words, stepping out of the car. Giving Lucas one last look, Jungkook parted ways by adding, "And by the way... you should be considerate of your friend's feelings. It's obvious that Jungwoo guy likes you. Why do you think he cried when you made plans to see someone else? Don't be so naive l-like I am."

⠀⠀Jungkook's words left Lucas silent. He winced as Jungkook slammed the car door shut and watched his figure walk back to his front porch. While Jungkook jammed his house key into the door knob, Lucas sighed loudly and drove off.

⠀⠀As he entered, the sudden warmth of Jungkook's house was supposed to be comforting, but his emotions were too heightened for him to take in this comfort. The anger coursing through Jungkook's body had dissipated and was replaced with fear upon realization- realization that he had to confess to Taehyung about what just occurred.

⠀⠀Endless possibilities were playing back in Jungkook's mind as he anxiously pulled out his phone. Would Taehyung break up with him? He could feel his heart sink further with each digit of his passcode that he typed. Taking in a deep breath, Jungkook clicked his messages, and much to his surprise, Taehyung had already messaged him.

Tae:

⠀⠀So that's what they did. The internet couple facetimed and watched mulitple horror cult classics together. Sure, it was annoying to deal with the lag and late reactions from the other side of things, but it was all worth it. Also, later that night, Taehyung managed to once again tell Jungkook he loved him. However, there was something about hearing Taehyung's voice say it (instead of texting it) that made Jungkook swoon and believe he truly meant it.

⠀⠀With that reassurance, Jungkook knew that he too loved the local, uncultured fuckboy he met on Twitter (of all places) known as Kim Taehyung.

KIDDING. Omfg that would be SUCH a shitty way to end this story. Ofc it's not the end! They still have to meet! 😍

So yeah, the Lucas arc of this story is done! I liked it more than the Yugyeom storyline because it was more thought out and suspenseful with him being with Kook in person imo. And I promise no more people will come between them sksjsks. Doesn't mean there's no more drama though ;) ok ew i'm a creep using that wink shit sksjsk.

The next few chapters will be about fleshing out taekook's relationship some more, and the side stories of namjin and yoonminseok. THEN they will meet ok!! Be patient, it's COMING!! That arc of the story will be quite lengthy because a lot goes down when they meet. 👀
