We both got mint chocolate chip ice cream because anyone with common knowledge would know that it was the superior flavor. I'm just kidding, I forced him to get something other than plain, old, boring vanilla ice cream.

We both thanked the nice, old lady again, whose name was Mrs. Suzy.

I sat down with Lucas and bit into my ice cream, freezing my teeth in the process. It was okay though.

Lucas looked at me with a judgmental look and asked me with a laugh, "You bite into your ice cream?"

I stared at him with the most obvious look plastered on my face, replying, "You don't?"

Lucas bursted out laughing, "No, what the hell! Normal people lick their ice cream."

"Haven't you figured out that I'm not normal?" I asked and bit into my ice cream again, the coldness hitting against my teeth for the second time.

"Yeah, but biting into your ice cream is a sin. Just like pineapple pizza," Lucas stated and licked his ice cream. The two sentences that Lucas just formed made me audibly gasp very loudly.

"Lucas William King!" I shouted out, earning looks from the other customers. I sheepishly smiled at them all before turning back to Lucas.

"What?" he asked, seemingly unbothered by the statement that just came out of his mouth.

"Never mind, you lick your stupid ice cream and I'll eat mine," I said with a huff, crossing my arms and taking another bite of my ice cream.

After we were done with our ice cream, we both went to an arcade center which was in a bowling place. We got the tokens to play the games and I smirked as I saw an air hockey table. I glanced at Lucas, who smirked back at me.

"It is on," I stated, running over to the air hockey table. Lucas did the same as me. "Winner gets half of the tickets that the other person gets when we're done here."

The score ended up with me winning by one and Lucas losing. He pouted at me as I smiled at him. At the end of our gaming session, which was about two hours long, we ended up with a load of tickets.

"You know what? You can take all of my tickets. But I keep the rubber duck," Lucas said, handing me all of his tickets. My eyes widened as I hugged the several tickets that I now had.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I exclaimed and ran to the place where you turned the tickets in. It took about five minutes to put all of the tickets in before we got our paper with the ticket number we got on it.

We had gotten five thousand tickets.

I got the giant stuffed pig and decided to get Lucas something as well. I got Lucas a ring pop but being the needy person that he is, he wanted two, so I got him two. I also got myself three airheads then contemplated on whether to get more stuff. I decided against it and handed the ticket paper to a little girl who was playing a claw machine.

I told her the amount she had left, which was around five hundred. She thanked me with the biggest smile ever, excitedly jumping and down. I love making children happy. You can call me Mrs. Claus. Just kidding, please don't.

I went back to Lucas and chuckled as the small child went to an older lady, supposedly her mother, and waving the paper in her face in ecstasy. Lucas laughed and turned to me.

"How about we do a best out of three for bowling. I'm known to pack a pretty good bowling ball roll," Lucas suggested, wiggling his eyebrows.

"That just sounded weird. But okay, if you're that willing to lose again," I said with a fake sigh.

"You'll eat your words when I win," Lucas muttered and crossed his arms over his chest.

Anyone could tell that he was a very competitive person considering the fact that he got upset about losing the air hockey game. Oh well, that was his own fault.

The first game ended with me winning and Lucas rolling his eyes, exclaiming, "You used the damn kid railing things!"

"But I still won, didn't I?" I retorted with a smug looking smile on my face.

"I'm going to win this one, even with your stupid rails," he stated with confidence laced in his voice.

When the second game ended, Lucas fisted pumped the air in triumph. This time, I was the one rolling my eyes. I told him, "You put my rails down half way through the game."

"But I still won, didn't I?" he said, copying what I had said earlier. I groaned, starting the other game off, but turning the rails back on.

"Oh, no you don't!" Lucas exclaimed, turning the rails off.

I looked at him with the look that just shouted "really?" but he just shrugged back with he same grin on his face. I sighed in defeat, too lazy to turn the rails back on again. Yeah, I did suck at bowling because I always shot the ball in the gutter. But no, Lucas isn't better than me.

I may not state many facts in my life, but what I just stated about Lucas is indeed a scientifically proven fact. By me because I am very capable of being a scientist. Note the sarcasm.

By the end of the third game, which was full of laughter, snacks, and me playfully hitting Lucas, it was almost seven o'clock, which was when the sun set at this time of the year. I didn't really realize that I had spent the entire day with Lucas and we still had more to do. Or at least one more thing to do, which was go to that cliff again.

As we walked out of the bowling alley, Lucas intertwined his hand into mine again. His hand was very warm even though I was still a little sick. The pills finally decided to help me to not cough and throw up, which was pretty darn good on my behalf.

Nothing else was processing in my mind apart from the fact that I was here with Lucas and that was all that mattered right now. And you're probably thinking that I'm being possessed by some ghost or he's mind controlling me, but no! I am willingly spending my time with Lucas King.

"Hey, it's not raining anymore," Lucas pointed out, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"And there's a rainbow. How cute!" I responded, pointing my index finger up to where the rainbow was. It wasn't very visible because of the setting sun, but it was still there.

When we arrived back at the cliff, I stared at the sky which was tainted red and orange from the sun. Lucas and I leaned our arms against the fence.

Lucas then said out of the blue, "Football starts up soon. You should cheer your boyfriend on."

Then the infamous wink. He turned to face me and I did the same for him. I had to look up at him because I was a head short than him, but that was okay, I guess.

"We aren't a thing, Lucas!" I exclaimed, rolling my eyes.

"Oh, so friends hold each other's hands and eat ice cream together?" Lucas challenged, leaning closer to my face. My heart started to race.

"Yeah, actually, I've done it with Lily multiple ti-" I got cut off by a set of lips coming against mine.

My eyes widened before pushing him away. Lucas looked back at me with hurt and confusion in his eyes for a split second, before covering it up with another emotion that I couldn't tell.

"You know, I thought we had something going there," he commented with a snicker, leaning back against the fence and looking at the sunset.

"Yeah, but you startled me," I responded with a small blush plastered against my cheeks.

He turned his head to look at me, raising an eyebrow. I wiggled my eyebrows and tugged his shirt towards me.

"Are you sure about this? Well, doing it kind of again. I've never kissed anyone befo-" I was cut off again by the same set of lips on my own lips but this time I didn't pull back.

I sunk into the kiss, trying not the embarrass myself even more than I already did. It wasn't my fault nobody ever wanted to kiss me up until now.

All I could comprehend right now was that the exact same boy that I used to despise was kissing me and I was kissing back. Holy crap. His tongue slid against my bottom lip so then I pulled away. I am not ready to make out with someone.

Lucas chuckled, looking at me with a mix of amusement and awe. He asked, "Do you see the sunset that's gradually disappearing in the horizon?"

     I nodded, not verbally responding.

"No matter how beautiful this could be, you will still be more beautiful," he muttered, making me look down as I blushed even more.

His thumb connected with my chin gently, lifting my head up, saying, "I like you, Kylie. I really fucking liking you."

"Okay, language young sir," I responded sheepishly and Lucas's small laugh rang through my ears. I smiled, continuing, "I hate to admit it, but I think I may like you as well."

Then he quickly got down on one knee and opened the bag to the ring pop that I had gotten him earlier in the day. He asked, "Will you, Kylie Rae Anderson, be my girlfriend?"

I giggled at the dumb proposal, but nodded anyways. He stood up and pulled me into a bear hug. When he pulled away, the widest smile was plastered onto his face. He then gave me the ring pop and put it on my left hand ring finger.

"Then it's settled! Cheer me on when I'm on that football field," Lucas smiled and gave me another wink. I laughed and turned back to face the sunset with my boyfriend? Holy crap-

Did I, Kylie Anderson a.k.a one of the few people who (used to) hate Lucas, just agree to date the Lucas King?
