教師 : Insecurity at it's best

The hangout with Taehyung was fun, but how he felt about himself was kinda upsetting. I bought a few vinyls for myself and a few blank ones for Kuina.

I walked through the female dorm compound and went to my block towards my room. I walked up the stairs to my floor and saw someone standing in front of my door.

Jeon Jungkook

I frowned and quickly went upto him, he quickly shifted his gaze to me but I ignored anyways.

"Where did you go without telling me?" He asked while I was unlocking the door.

"Don't try to control me, I told you that" I calmly responded and stood in front of the open door, "Do want to stand there or come in?" I asked if he wants to get inside and talk.

"Hmm" he hummed and let him in and closed the door.

"What's the matter, anything important?" I asked, it must be something important or else he wouldn't have been waiting outside.

"Just came here to check, if you were fine" he responded and kept the vinyls on a safe corner of the room.

"You don't need to check, don't worry" I said moving to the small kitchen.

"Where did you go anyways?" He asked after sitting on the bed.

"Long story" I said after collecting the bottle of water and sipping from it.

"I have time" he won't leave without listening, I understood that.

"Well you see those vinyls I kept there" I pointed at the records and he looked, "A friend promised me to take at the record store but the football team somehow hijacked him when I went to his dorm. And a guy staying beside his dorm surprisingly shared the same music taste and he was going there as well so be took me there-"

"You just went out with some stranger" Jungkook cut me off and I sighed.

"First of all, he is a fellow student like me and secondly that stranger happens to be your bestfriend, Kim Taehyung" I said and he calmed a bit.

"Oh, Taehyung" he muttered and looked at his feet thinking something for a while, "But you could have just asked me, I could have taken you. From next time ask me".

"Why Jungkook? You don't even like Classical and old rock" I shrugged, "I would rather go with Taehyung, our tastes match".

"Yeah but Taehyung is still a stranger to you" he said and I rolled my eyes.

"Jungkook don't act so stubborn, I am not kid. And why do you even care let me live like I want to, I am a grown up" I said and there was dead silence for a moment until there was a knock on my door.

"I will" Jungkook went before me and opened the door, I was standing on the other side so I didn't really notice who it was but Jungkook frowned at the person.

"Who are you exactly?" That was so rude of him to ask someone like that it can be one of my friends.

I quickly scooted by his side, "Why are you talking like this?" I said and looked at the person who knocked. It was Dev.

He looked perplexed to see Jungkook for a moment and then looked at me, "Sorry, the soccer team had a meeting so they just pulled me into that, I didn't get the time to tell you, I am sorry you must have been waiting" he was humble.

"It's okay Dev, fortunately I didn't had to wait and I went to the store with someone" I said and he smiled.

"That's good. I would have told you, but I didn't have any contact" he said and it was completely understandable.

"Take my number" I said and asked for his phone which he gave. I dialed the numbers and saved it and returned it back.

"Thanks, it would be easier to contact. Bye" with that he left and I closed the door and turned around to see another scene.

Jungkook crossing his arms and looking at me. "I can't believe" he mumbled and I frowned.

"What you can't believe?" I frowned not understanding.

"You gave your number to a random stranger just like that" I just couldn't believe my ears for a moment, he was literally crossing his limits.

"He is my friend, not a stranger. And do try to control me Jungkook, you are literally nagging me at this point" he pursed his lips and rolled his eyes.

"Okay fine!" He threw him on the bed beside and shoved his head on the pillow.

"If you are sleepy go to your room" I said but he didn't budge, "Jungkook go to your room, it's a girls' dorm" I said and he sat upright facing me with a smirk.

"Why? Are you getting some wild thoughts after seeing me in bed?"

Author's POV

Jungkook walked through the corridor of the male dorm, towards Jimin's room. Definitely he got kicked out from your room after making her mad with his stupid comment. But one think that struck him was your blushing face, you blushed for a moment before screaming at him.

Jungkook brushed his hands through his hair as he walked, a smile creeping on his face when he thought about you.

He was one of them who prayed hard so that you could make it to this University. A one year gap made him realize a lot of things, he missing you being one of them.

But there was one problem, time. He felt that he couldn't give you enough time, firstly because of all his activities as a sports captain and secondly whenever he would go to you, you will run away or rather push him away. The second problem being the major one, Jungkook didn't know what to do. He couldn't control you, even if he tried it would make things worse.

The complications were real.

He stood in front of the door his friend's door and knocked, "Open the quick" he raised his voice a little and the man opened the door.

"You are impatient people take time" Jimin scrunched his nose and Jungkook entered to see another man already being there. Taehyung.

Taehyung smiled at him as usual and he was happy to see his bestfriend too. But something was pinching his heart after seeing that face. But he quickly brushes of the complications and take his place beside him.

"Yaa, Jungkook. You heard the spice?" Jimin walked towards them and took a seat in the opposite, facing them. He had a playful smirk playing on.

"There's no spice, don't listen to him" Taehyung's deep voice mumbled beside him. But he was curious to know.

"Taehyung took a girl on a date in their first meet" his heart clenched after hearing that, he didn't know why but it triggered a sense of insecurity. Fear of being replaced.

"Aish! It's not like that, you are making it a big deal" Jungkook doubted if Taehyung really meant what he said. The way he was acting all shy around, covering his face and laughing at Jimin's jokes about him and Y/N made Jungkook uneasy.

"Jungkook just look he blushing!" Jimin's laugh muffled through the room and he looked at his bestfriend, "Only Kim Taehyung can take a stranger to a date on the first day they met" Jungkook was not liking it at all. But he couldn't show it to all, so he laughed along.

The matter settled after Taehyung clarified that there is nothing going on but Jungkook just couldn't settle with all the facts.

She never went out with him when he knew her for ages, but agreed when Taehyung asked her and he was just a stranger to her

He was quiet.

Jimin went to the kitchen to fetch some soft drinks, he and Taehyung were all alone for a moment. He didn't mean to ask it but he couldn't stop himself as well.

"Do you really like her?"

Will this ruin their friendship?
