+jungkook

i gazed into haneul's teary eyes as she softly let out guttural sobs. words were caught up in my throat, yet they won't leave my mouth. my tongue stiffened as I tried to comfort her. so, I held her hand and pressed them gently. it hurts my heart to see how much she had suffered after I was not by her side.

suddenly, I heard a loud sound of the door slamming and I immediately looked at the entrance. I saw an awfully familiar figure running out of the shop with incredible speed. soon, I realised it was eunhee.

but what was she doing at the coffee shop?

worrying about my wife, eunhee, i literally forgot about haneul that was in front of me. half of me wanted to stay until she felt better but half of me wanted to chase after eunhee.

"jungkook..?"

I heard haneul's cracking voice calling my name. this time, her hand escaped my grasp and she was the one who now holding my hand.

"is something wrong?"

she asked, with one brow cocked. her eyes were puffy and red and dry tears stained her flushed cheeks. for a moment, i felt horrible.

I was about to leave a crying girl alone.

i, then flashed a smile at her to ease her worries. I shook my head and ignored the fact that I saw my wife running away from the shop. right then, I only wanted to comfort her because things were tougher for her.

"nothing. i thought i saw someone that I know.."

I trailed off, running my tongue on my lower lip.

im sorry, eunhee.

"but no, i got the wrong person."
