Both you and Jakurou ran your way over to the other side of the arena, avoiding any and all students on your path. Her quirk proved to be quite useful—shape shifting. Her favorite form was a phoenix. It really helped in predicaments.

"I guess you're not as useless as I thought," you said to her. She laughed.

"Trust me, I know I may seem... aloof." She smirked at you. "But I pay a lot more attention than you might think."

"I'm sure you do."
You two finally got to the industrial part of the arena. Up on circular tanks were the ten students from Seijin High.

"Didn't I tell you, Todoroki?" You heard the red one speak. "Even if you're a U.A. student, acting alone... shows you're overconfident—" He didn't get to finish his sentence because you cheetah'd your way up the cylinder and kicked the one in the blue suit away.

"What the...?!"

You breathed out fire at them. The red one threw a lug nut at you, enlarging it.

"WA-CHOW BITCH!!" Jakurou appeared and drop kicked the large nut away where it crashed into the ground.

"EAT MY FOOT MOTHERFUCKER!!" Red flames wrapped around her body. With a loud screech, a large claw wrapped around the blue one before throwing him into a building.

Before anyone could defend themselves, you screamed. Covering their ears from you, you quickly jumped onto Jakurou and took off into the sky, leaving Todoroki by himself. You didn't even notice him. Your targets lit up and beeped.

"Those who have passed should go to the waiting room. Hurry."

You landed on the ground and looked at the targets.

"Did you pass, Jakurou?" You asked the girl. She grinned at you and nodded.

"Yep. One of the first."

"The let's get going to the waiting room."

You and her both arrived at the building. Already there were dozens of people who have passed already.

"There are more here than I thought," she said, following you into the building.

"It seems I underestimated them a little," you said.

"Well, I'm gonna go find some food real quick." With a wave of her hand, she walked away from you. You watched her go silently, walking in the opposite direction.

"Hey, did you hear?" A student whispered, "Y/n L/n went missing." You stopped in your tracks.

"Really? I thought she was going through rehabilitation."

"She was, but someone died and she went missing after that."

"Are you serious? Where do you think she is?"

"Who knows. I'm kinda scared. Who knows what she'll do with free reign."
You walked away from them and sat on a bench, leaning against the wall. You crossed your arms and closed your eyes for a minute.

...

"YO! Homura-chan!" A harsh slap bounced off your thigh, jolting you awake. "What are you doing? Come on, it's time for the next phase!" You were suddenly pulled to your feet and dragged into the crowd of passing students. A large screen was in front of you, an overview of the field.

"Well, for all hundred of you who passed the first test, please watch this," Mera said. The camera switched to another angle of a building. A second passed before an explosion went off inside of the building. More and more explosion were going off in each section of the field.

"Why are they destroying it?" You murmured.

"The next test will be the last one," Mera said, "We will have you all perform rescue exercises as bystanders in this disaster site." You sighed.

"Great. The two things I'm not good at. Social interaction and caring."

"We will assume that those of you who have passed the first test have received your provisional licenses and test how well you can carry out suitable rescue procedures." On the screen appeared people who seemed to of been caught up in the destruction.

"That's the Help Us Company or HUC for short," Jakurou explained, "They're professionals in need of saving."

"That's stupid," you said.

"It's necessary."

"We will not have you all carry out their rescue. In addition, we will score your rescue based on points and if you have more points than the benchmark at the end of the exercises, then you pass. We will start in ten minutes, so please use the restroom and take care of any other necessary business right now."

"Do you know anything about rescue?" You turned to Jakurou.

"Well, you first need to make sure the injured are okay, check to see if they're conscious, if they're stuck, or if they're dead. Second, you need to figure out a way to get them out with minimal injury or pain. Then you ask about others in the region." She looked at you and smiled. "That's what I've learned from experience."

"Well, that's better than nothing." A loud bell rang out through the room, drawing your attention.

"Villains have begun a large scale terrorist attack! This is occurring in all areas of 'City Name Here.' Due to buildings collapsing, there are many injured." The room suddenly broke apart at the seams. "Due to heavily damaged roads, the first group of rescue workers have been delayed! Until they arrive, the heroes in the area will lead the rescue efforts. Save as many lives as you can. Well, then... start!!"
You and Jakurou ran out into the destroyed field along with everyone else. She shape shifted into a large bird and you hopped on her back.

"Let's go to a more populated area," you suggested.

"Yeah. I can smell many people down there," she replied.

You listened to your senses very carefully, trying to pinpoint distress through the chaos.

"There. Down there." You pointed towards a collapsed building. She soared down to it and you jumped off her back.

"Please help! My wife is trapped under the building!" The man cried.

"Yes, yes, we'll tend to your wife right away." You knelt down in front of him and checked for any injuries or blood. "Can you stand?"

"Um... I think I can, yes," he replied, shifting his legs. You nodded.

"Alright. After we fish out your wife Jakurou will get you some first aid, all right?"
He nodded at you and you turned to look at the building.

'The windows are shattered, but the building still looks intact.'

"Jakurou, do you think the building's together enough for me to lift it?" You asked her.

"It's worth a shot. I'll pull her out. Let's make this quickly and limit the amount of time and injury."
