/LISA/

I strummed my fingers on the steering wheel my hands were resting on. Glancing to the building beside me, I hummed along with the song that was playing on the radio.

About five minutes later, Jennie came out of her apartment. My heart instantly reacted—it excitedly jumped up and down within my ribs. A smile went on my face and lingered there when Jennie settled herself down on the passenger seat.

"Hey," I greeted, watching as Jennie struggled to put on her seatbelt.

"Hi," Jennie replied with her hands still fumbling with the seatbelt.

I leaned my body closer and attached the head of the seatbelt to the end in one swift move. "Thanks," Jennie muttered, giving me a cute smile afterward.

"No problem,"

"Where are we going today?"

I had asked Jennie yesterday, right after my little confession time with Chaeyoung, to go out with me. I immediately thought of this place out of nowhere, but it wasn't a bad idea, we'll see how it turned out.

But a voice inside me told me that Jennie would love it, and it had never been wrong.

I stepped on the gas pedal slowly as I waited for the road to be more uncongested before driving with increasing speed. "Somewhere you'll surely love,"

"How are you so confident about that?" Jennie asked in an amusement mixed with a challenging tone.

"I just know," I shrugged, smirked when she rolled her eyes dramatically.

"You're no fun," Jennie complained.

"Trust me, babe. You'll love it,"

I noticed as Jennie froze at how I had addressed her, but then quickly recovered and went back to her playful-sassy demeanor.

"And if I don't?"

"I'll do anything you ask me to," I answered, confident because there was no way she wouldn't love where I was going to take her.

Jennie stared at me for a while, then averted her gaze towards the road ahead.

"Alright, deal,"

While driving, my eyes several times wandered to where Jennie was sitting. She was wearing a simple white blouse, a pair of mom jeans, white sneakers, and her hair was down and undone—yet she still looked the most beautiful to me.

Whenever she noticed me staring at her, she would scold me while blushing; saying I should be paying attention to the road instead if I wanted we both alive.

And I would always laugh, said sorry but honestly didn't feel sorry at all. I mean, how could I be sorry for not taking for granted a whole goddess beside me?

I couldn't wait until she sees what I'd planned and prepared for her only. I was growing more impatient as time passed by.

Finally, after a whole thirty minutes of stolen glances and heartily giggles, we arrived at the destination. "We're here," I announced, getting out of the car and walked around it to open Jennie's door for her.

Jennie stepped out, her white adidas sneakers being contrasted with the dark gray asphalt below. I was going to walk first but went in a brief halt as Jennie intertwined our hands together.

Looking at the girl three inches shorter than me, I smiled and held her hand tighter.

"Let's go, they're waiting for you,"

"They?"

"You'll see," I answered and stepped inside the building with her hand in mine.

"Oh my God! A puppy house?" Jennie exclaimed, her voice went up about two octaves, and I found it extremely endearing.

I knew I would ruin myself for her happiness.

"It's a hotel, actually,"

We walked towards the receptionist who was wearing a light brown shirt tucked inside her white shorts, with her hair up in a neat bun. "Hey, how can I help you?"

"I have a reservation. It's on Manoban,"

The receptionist pulled out a khaki file holder and opened it. She dragged her pointer finger from the upper side of the file until near the bottom, then looked at me with a polite smile.

"Ms. Lalisa Manoban?"

I nodded.

"Alright, I'm gonna need you to sign here and here," the receptionist—Amber, I read on her nametag—pointed to two vacant space on the folder and gave me a black pen. I took the pen, letting go of Jennie's hand as doing so. I scratched the paper as the ink of the pen carved my prominent signature on it.

"Thank you," Amber smiled as she took the paper along with the pen back. "Room 8, my friend will take you there."

"Thank you," I bowed a little, although finding it weird bowing to someone while it's usually the other way around.

Another keeper smiled at us as he walked towards the lift. I could see Jennie's eyes wandering happily around the corridor, getting excited at the sight of picture frames of dogs and puppies on the wall. If only she knew what I'd prepared for her.

Entering the lift, the boy punched the number 8 with his pointer finger lightly, and the lift door closed instantly. We waited until a familiar ding sound was heard and the door opened back.

We walked further in a corridor. The building actually looked like a hotel, except that the usual paintings and pictures were replaced by pictures of puppies and dogs.

I smiled when I noticed Jennie's eyes widen in admiration at the sight, I'm happy she's happy.

"This is your key, Miss. Enjoy your stay," the boy in his early eighteenth gave me a key with a puppy head keychain attached to it. I take it and thanked him before he left us alone, standing in front of a door that had the number 8 carved on its wooden surface.

My left hand held Jennie's and I opened the lock with the key in my right hand.

As soon as we entered the room, I heard a squeal coming from the brunette beside me.

"Lisa!" Jennie let go of my hand as she ran further inside the hotel room.

It was like any five stars hotel room in general, it was big and the walls were decorated neatly with light blue wallpapers with flowers and bees motive on it. Only, if the usual hotel room would be equipped with king sized bed, wardrobe, tv and coffee table, this room wasn't.

It was literally a puppy hotel.

The carpet was white, big and bone-shaped. It's the kind of furry and comfortable carpet you'd like to lay down on. A big, beige sofa sat on the other side of the room, right across the door we had walked in from.

On each corner of the room were two bunk beds. The bottom level didn't have any mattresses upon it, instead, they had the puppies' food and drink containers. Beside it was mini stairs leading to the upper level which I assumed a bed for the puppies to sleep on. It had mattresses on it and several plushies and stuffed-animals.

The best part of the room was the running, loud, cute four-legged little buddies with various color. There were like six puppies running around Jennie and me, some already tried to climb up my legs.

Jennie hadn't stopped squealing in excitement, and to me she looked extremely, absolutely adorable.

Jennie sat down on the big, white, furry carpet and those little buddies immediately raced to get on her lap. Jennie was laughing heartily when some of them licked her playfully or snuggled up against her arms and lap.

I felt the need to capture this moment and cherish it, so I took out my phone and managed to snap a few pictures. I chose one of them which Jennie was closing her eyes, laughing, and made it my lock-screen.

I noticed two other puppies that were previously sleeping had joined their friends, climbing down the stairs from their bunk-bed and started running around us.

Jennie looked so overwhelmed, she seemed confused about which puppy to pet because all of them were snuggling to her and all of them looked absolutely adorable.

I then joined Jennie on the carpet, making about three puppies snuggled up towards me. I recognized some of their breeds, Golden Retriever, Husky, and Shih Tzu. I giggled when they snuggled up on my leg, it was kind of ticklish.

After approximately five minutes of basically pouring love towards us, the puppies grew tired and bored, they one by one wandered around to do their own, separate, business.

Now, Jennie's attention was back at me.

I was pushed back when Jennie suddenly attacked me with a bear hug. "You're unbelievable!"

"You're welcome, Jen," I laughed.

"How did you—I don't even know this kind of place exists in Busan!"

"See? I've told you you'll love it," I teased when Jennie pulled back, but still on my lap.

We stared into each other's eyes, and I felt myself slowly leaning closer to her. I felt her breath quickened when she realized our position, but she didn't make any effort to pull back nor to move away.

I felt my boxer tightened up at the close-up view of her lips and her piercing stare.

No, Lisa. This isn't the right time to have a fucking boner.

(A/N: y'all haven't forgotten Lisa's g!p here, right?)

Soon enough, Jennie's lips crashed on mine as we pressed our lips together. I savored her strawberry lipgloss and caressed her hips above the fabric of her clothes when her hands stayed still on my shoulders.

I moved my lips, sucking on her lower lip delicately and ever so softly.

"Bark!"

We both pulled back when I felt a ball of fur snuggled and squeezed himself on the space between us, a brown Pomeranian puppy.

"Hey there!" Jennie squealed and sat back a little to give the little guy more space.

We spent the remaining two hours—the maximum time I was given to rent the room—just playing with the eight furballs. They were cute, I must admit. But my favorite part of all was how happy and adorable Jennie looked while playing with them.

I also noticed how Jennie grew an immense liking and attachment towards the brown Pomeranian puppy.

"Jen, we have to leave in ten minutes," I reminded her.

Jennie was laying on her stomach, with the brown Pomeranian beside her. She pouted and muttered in a baby voice, "I don't want to go,"

My heart burst out in the adorable sight, and I immediately snap the moment. Perfect!

"I know, but we have to," I said, putting my phone on the carpet. I pet the Husky puppy that was snuggling to me, close to falling into a deep slumber of sleep.

I knew she was going to like these puppies, also that she would eventually want to spend more time with them. I figured out if I couldn't prolong my reservation here... perhaps I could buy this one, certain, brown little buddy and bring him home?

"I'll be back shortly," I announced, getting up to reach the door. The Husky was startled but followed me, tailing me as if I was her owner.

I chuckled lightly, might bring this one home too—if they let me buy her.

I entered the lift and walked towards the receptionist once its door opened. "Hey," I greeted, and she smiled at me.

"Hello, how can I help you?"

"I was wondering... is there any possible way where I can buy these puppies? From room 8?"

Amber looked at me then her smile got bigger. "Of course, they're actually on sale. We use this mechanism so the soon-to-be owner will have more time to get to know and choose the puppy. Anyway, which one?"

"The brown Pomeranian," I informed, and Amber typed briefly on her computer. She then gestured me to stand closer to her so that I could see the screen. It was a picture of the pup along with his data and information.

"This one?"

"Yup, that's him,"

"Okay, give me a minute," Amber smiled as she typed on her computer again.

The purchase went smoothly, I gave her my credit card, paid for the little buddy along with the equipment he'd need and the birth certificate, and he now belongs to me.

Correction, he belongs to Jennie.

"Oh, and Amber?" at the sound of her name, Amber snapped her head at me quickly. "Can you slip this in the folder?" I gave her a small, light blue envelope. She took it and smiled briefly at me.

"Let me guess, the pup is for your girlfriend?"

The mention of the last word made my stomach fluttered.

"Yeah," I said, unable to contain my smile. "She loves him."

"She's going to love you even more with this," Amber laughed lightly, and I joined her.

The thought of Jennie to love me... was it even possible? Would it be possible?

"It's all set, we're going to prepare him now,"

"Oh, okay. How long will it take?"

"In maximum, twenty minutes,"

"Alright, I'll just pick her up first. Inform me when he's ready, okay?"

"Will do,"

"Thank you so much for today, Lis," Jennie said, stepping out of the hotel with our hands intertwined.

"You're welcome. You looked so happy back there," I chuckled and patted her head lightly.

"I am happy. I just wish I can spend more time with them, they're so cute," Jennie pouted.

"I know, you kind of make it obvious when you almost cried five minutes ago," Jennie hit my arm playfully and I just laughed.

"By the way, the brown Pomeranian was taken earlier. I liked him the most, but the staff took him away from me. I wonder why," Jennie said once we're settled down in the car.

"Maybe someone bought him. The hotel is actually a pet shop, anyway," I informed without showing any sign to make her suspicious.

"No!" Jennie whined like a little girl who had just lost her favorite barbie-doll. She looked like she was about to cry, and I couldn't help but laugh at her reaction.

If only she knew.

Suddenly, my phone rang, it was Amber.

"Hey, he's ready,"

"I'll be there," I answered before ending the call instantly.

"Hey, Jen. Do you forget something inside? The receptionist informed me,"

"Hm? I don't think so..." Jennie mumbled, checking all her belongings.

"But she said—let's just check it, shall we?" I said, stepping out of the car.

Arriving in the lobby, I saw the little brown boy sitting patiently on the carpet. Beside him was a small suitcase which I assumed contained all his essentials and files.

Jennie came in later, confused to see the brown Pomeranian in front of us.

I smiled as I scoop his little figure in my arm and his suitcase on my other hand. "Here, you forget him," I informed Jennie with a big grin.

"What? I don't—oh my God, you didn't!" Jennie squealed as tears of joy sprung into her eyes. Her first action surprised me, I had thought she was going to take the little brown guy, but she didn't.

She kissed me.

I almost dropped him at the sudden contact of her lips on mine, but I managed not to do so.

Pulling back from the kiss, Jennie stared up at me. "Thank you so much," she whispered.

"You're welcome," I answered and gestured towards the boy with my eyes. She quickly took the little guy to her arms and hugged him. I chuckled at the sight.

I didn't forget to thank Amber and the other staff as I brought the suitcase outside towards my car. Placing the suitcase on my backseat, I took out the folder before settling on the driver seat.

Jennie was waiting for me, and when I finally sat down, she leaned to kiss me again.

Oh God, if buying her puppies means her kissing me repeatedly like this, I would buy her all the puppies on this damn hotel.

"I can't believe you just bought me a puppy," Jennie stared at me with disbelief.

"You better start believing in me, then. Might want to get used to these kinds of stuff—"

I was cut off as her lips crashed against mine, again. Her free hand that wasn't holding the pup snaked into my nape and caressed it softly.

"By the way, this is his file," I gave her the folder when we pulled back from the kiss. "You might want to check it up now before we're far away from the hotel."

Jennie automatically opened the folder, and the light blue envelope fell right away. She frowned slightly and opened the envelope, taking out a piece of paper within it.

My heart stammered painfully as she scanned and read the paper. After she finished reading it, she froze.

As far as I remembered, the piece of paper said:

Miss Jennie Kim, I adore you so much.

All this time I've spent with you made me realize that I want you to be present beside me in every subsequent step I take.

Jennie, you'll make me the happiest woman ever if you accept my love,

Will you be mine?

Seeing that I got no reaction at all, I lowered the paper and took her hand in mine instead.

"It's me who wrote that, by the way. Not him," I chuckled when she wasn't even moving out of her frozen state.

"Lisa, I—"

"Wait," I cut her off, clearing my throat.

"Jen, I should've told you this that night on the rooftop... I adore you so much. And everything I've written isn't just writings on a paper, Jennie. I seriously mean it, especially the last sentence," I started, locking my gaze on her eyes.

"So, Jennie Kim... will you be mine?" I asked, verbally this time, and my heart was dancing uncontrollably against my ribcage.

Silence engulfed us, the brown little guy sitting on her lap glanced up curiously.

"You're dumb, Lalisa," Jennie muttered, shaking her head in disbelief.

I frowned.

Was she rejecting me?

"What—" I was confused, I was going to ask what did she mean before she cut me off with a sentence that I wouldn't trade with any other sentences.

"You're dumb to ask that, Manoban. I'm already yours,"

"Can you throw that paper away? I just realized it sounds so cringe," I commented when she reread the piece of paper.

We were already inside her apartment, the clock displayed 9 pm. Jennie was organizing Kuma's—the little brown guy—files on her cabinet, she had stopped to read and grinned sheepishly at the piece of paper.

"Never. And, no, it doesn't. It's actually kinda romantic," Jennie grinned, showing her gum as she did so.

"Whatever, girlfriend," I teased, feeling proud at myself for accomplishing it—to finally able to call Jennie my girlfriend.

It was kinda funny because it was me who had asked her to take us slowly... yet here we are right now.

I walked up to Jennie, wrapping my hands around her waist to hug her from behind when I reached her. I felt her body relaxed in my arms, she leaned back with her head resting on my shoulder.

"Thank you for everything, Lisa," Jennie spoke up, merely above a whisper.

"No, thank you for giving me a chance," I replied, then turn my head to kiss her cheek softly.

"You make me the happiest girl today," Jennie sighed in relief, her hand caressing mine on her waist.

"I love seeing you happy,"

Jennie smiled, then I turned her around to face me completely.

"I'll make you happy, Jennie. I won't let you down. And don't get tired of me, okay? I may be annoying at times but—"

"I'm not going anywhere, Lalisa. I'm yours, always yours until you decide otherwise," Jennie cut me off and leaned closer.

"Yeah,
