/LISA/

I sat down, my eyes wandering around the massive meeting room. Men in suits were gathered around a circular table, I learned that they were all my father's men.

My father, Marco Manoban, had asked- commanded me to accompany him to this meeting. I obeyed, considering this was one of the meetings I would have to direct one day.

"So, let's start from the scratch," Marco coughed to gather their attention, which was already focused towards him.

We began to talk about one of our mines in the United States, more precisely in Seattle. Marco had built the mine two years ago, and the mine was surprisingly advantageous. About 30% of our incoming this year was neatly earned from it. Nonetheless, Marco was glad. He appreciated the team, we all erupted into seconds of applause.

"I've been thinking into expanding the mine a little further to the north," Marco spoke up once the applause subsided.

He continued explaining his plans, and I examined the men's reactions to every sentence that walked out his mouth. They were older than me, that's one fact. Various ages, starting from the early 40s to late 50s.

I figured they were all the leads of every branch of the Manoban Corps all around the world. From Rusia, Japan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Canada, France, United States, Spain, and the center of Manoban Corps: South Korea.

One day, I'd be the one sitting on the tallest chair, the President, in this room; which now was seated by Marco. One day, I'd be ruling all the branch of Manoban Corps from the nine countries. One day, when I'm ready and worth the responsibility.

The meeting ended after two hours. I must admit, it was boring and tiring. If I wasn't thinking about the chairman position, I would most likely to excuse myself from the meeting in the first thirty minutes.

I checked my watch; 9 pm.

Marco still had about two more meetings, then he had to fly to the United States to take care of the construction himself. I always admired him whenever it comes to his dedication towards the company, and I hope I'd be just like him, if not more.

"I'll head home first," I announced quietly to him.

Marco smiled at me, a tired smile which didn't reach his eyes, and then patted my shoulder firmly. "Take care," he whispered, pulling me into a brief hug.

"You too," I uttered before exiting the room.

I immediately took off my black suit and rolled up the sleeves of my white shirt when I entered my car.

I was about to step on the gas pedal when I feel my phone vibrated.

"Hey," I answered right away after reading the caller ID.

"Hey, Jace and I are going out. Join us?" Chaeyoung asked with her usual sweet voice.

"Right, send me the location," I answered and hung up right after.

I drove to the restaurant that was approximately 20 minutes away from my previous position.

Pulling up in front of the restaurant, I noticed that the street was kind of familiar. I decided to put my suit back on before stepping out of the car.

/THIRD PERSON POV/

The two siblings waited impatiently for the one of three to join them. Jace kept on checking on his watch, what the hell was taking Lisa so long?

Chaeyoung's eyes light up when she noticed the familiar blonde walking through the entrance door. Lisa was wearing a white shirt with the top button unbuttoned, black suit, black trousers, and black heels.

Chaeyoung smiled and got up once Lisa approached their table. Chaeyoung hugged her sister and inhaled the familiar scent of fresh mint. Lisa rubbed Chaeyoung's back softly before taking a seat across both her siblings.

"Have you ordered?" Lisa asked when she noticed that no waitress was approaching them since her appearance.

"Yup," Jace answered a little too enthusiastically.

"What did you get me, then?" Lisa continued, repositioning the Rolex on her wrist.

"Your favorite," Chaeyoung answered simply.

Lisa only shrugged, because she trusted Chaeyoung with all her being. If she said it's her favorite, then it is her favorite. Lisa didn't have time to doubt Chaeng, because their food was soon delivered to their table.

Lisa smiled when she saw her dish. She looked up at Chaeyoung who was smiling too, but brighter.

They enjoyed the dinner with continuous talking about each other's lives as if they didn't see each other every day. Even when their plates were clean, their conversation was still going on and on.

It was until Jace's phone rang up, and he immediately answered it.

"Apneic, Martin? Does it failed the brain stem test?" they heard Jace asked cautiously.

"Right, I'll be there in 10. Keep her alive for me," Jace ended the call. He stood up quickly and stared at his siblings in an apologizing look.

"It's okay, Doc. Go save her," Lisa smiled at her brother.

"I'm so sorry, but this is too important," Jace smiled apologetically.

"We'll be fine," Chaeyoung interrupted when Jace opened his mouth to speak up as she had just read his mind and what he was trying to say.

"Right. I'll see you... soon," Jace said before paying the bills and stepped out of the restaurant.

"Seems like it's just us two, now," Lisa leaned back on her chair, staring at her sister.

"Up for some walk?" Chaeyoung suggested and earned an immediate nod from the other blonde.

The stars twinkled welcomingly at the two blondes walking underneath them. It was as if the moon smiled at the sisters and shone brighter for them.

Chaeyoung shivered at the cold breeze brushing her bare skin, she immediately hugged herself tightly. Lisa seemed to notice because she instantly took off her suit and wrapped it around Chaeyoung's petite body.

"I can read minds too, you know," Lisa joked, chuckling when Chaeyoung rolled her eyes.

They both entered a park which was lightened up by various colors of Christmas lights. An instant smile was painted over Chaeyoung's face upon the view.

She remembered this park, where her head was hit by a ridiculously strong frisbee that caused her to be absent from uni for a week. She remembered being with Jennie and Jisoo, enjoying the sunset far beyond the lake.

Then something passed by her mind.

"Lis," Chaeyoung called, glancing at the quiet blonde beside her.

"Hm?"

They both decided to sit down on the grass, leaning on a tree for an anchor.

"I have a question for you," Chaeyoung continued.

"Ask away, then,"

"What do you think about Jennie?" Chaeyoung asked cautiously, staring straight to the glimmering surface of the lake in front of her.

"What about her?"

"Anything," Chaeyoung said simply.

"She's nice," Lisa answered. And beautiful too, she thought.

Dang, it.

She forgot Chaeyoung could read minds.

Chaeyoung chuckled upon hearing Lisa's thoughts. "You know, she often thinks about you," Chaeyoung confessed, smiling lightly.

Lisa turned her head slowly at Chaeyoung, examining her expressions, searching for any signs of joking, but there were none. "What do you mean?"

"She's curious," Chaeyoung answered, shrugging.

"Can you do better?" Lisa rolled her eyes in frustration of Chaeyoung's answers that happened to confuse her more than less.

"She wants to get to know you, Lis. Every time I'm around her, all I can hear is basically how she thinks that we've all met before. She feels familiar with us, and she's curious about it. She wants to find out but has no idea how."

"And what do you want me to do? I have no interest in her," Lisa tried her best to sound as casual as possible and to mute her thoughts.

"That's a whole lie, we both know it is," Chaeyoung smiled softly at Lisa. Her sister still confuses her sometimes. One day she's all open and wears her heart on her sleeves, but the other days she's so detached and distant.

"What are you trying to say, Chaeng?"

Chaeyoung contemplated for a moment. Could she tell Lisa what she saw weeks ago? About the future of Lisa and Jennie, together? Or could that change their fate? She opened her mouth and closed it a second after.

"All I'm saying is I think maybe it's finally time to open up to someone new," Chaeyoung exhaled, fiddling her fingers with Lisa's.

Lisa stayed quiet. She knew where this was going.

"It's time to forget about Tzuyu, Lis," Chaeyoung continued. She could feel Lisa's skin stiffened at the mention of the latter's ex-lover. "At least try to move on."

"If you don't try, you'll never know," Chaeyoung patted Lisa's thigh.

Lisa only sighed.

She knew Chaeyoung was right. It had been a year since her break up with Tzuyu, yet she had no intention to forget the Taiwanese. Their story was too beautiful to be forgotten, and so was Tzuyu.

Lisa closed her eyes as memories came rushing back in.

"Babe, stop," Tzuyu giggled, the sound vibrated through Lisa's chest to her heart. Lisa wrapped her hands around the Taiwanese's waist and pulled her closer. A sigh of relief escaped Tzuyu's mouth as she pressed her forehead on Lisa's.

"I don't want you to go," Tzuyu whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. With both their eyes closed, they had no problem seeing each other through the sincerity in their voice.

"I don't want to leave either," Lisa kissed Tzuyu's forehead.

Tzuyu braced, prepared herself as she waited for the 'but' to escape through Lisa's lips.

"But I have to," Lisa held Tzuyu delicately as if the latter was a fragile China that worth more than a million dollars.

Because she did worth more than everything to Lisa.

"The nights are going to be less warm when you're away, Lis. I'm going to live with only a half of me because you're taking the other half away with you," Tzuyu whispered, her voice cracking.

Lisa carried Tzuyu bridal style to her bed, delicately placing the latter on the soft mattress before settling comfortably between her legs. Lisa stared at Tzuyu, adoration consumed her eyes, soft smile lingered on her lips.

"Then take a part of me with you too," Lisa said before leaning in to capture her girlfriend's lips with hers.

Lisa snapped out of the bittersweet memory when Chaeyoung pinched her wrist lightly. Lightly as in making Lisa winced in pain and rubbed the spot repeatedly to soothe the pain.

"Sorry," Chaeyoung said apologetically.

"Why Jennie?" Lisa asked, her tone serious but afloat.

Chaeyoung smiled at her sister softly.

All she wanted was to Lisa to be as alive as she used to be when Tzuyu was still around. She was ready to do anything as long as it would ensure Lisa's happiness. And with what she had seen previously, she had a little hope bloomed inside her heart for both Lisa and Jennie.

"Why don't you find out yourself?"
