"Everyone stop moving this instance or I will not hesitate to shoot y'all! "

This came from the man in the Panda mask (I would have liked him just for owning that mask if it weren't for the situation I was in right now). At this, everyone stopped moving and sat quietly in their place while I was frozen in my spot, because, well, I had a freaking gun to my head!

My thighs were pressed against the table at which Ethan and the boys were sitting. Panda-man moved towards the other side of the counter where the money was while Sheep-guy held me as a hostage to scare everyone.

I was more thankful than a legless cow who received legs that my mind didn't stop working (no offence, legless cow!). I knew this because I was able to notice something. Sheep-guy's hand was trembling. He was nervous! I thought with (of course, mental) a wicked grin.

Now, I don't wanna live forever, but, I would like to at least finish watching the latest season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine before I die, you know?

I looked at the table in front of me and something clicked in my brain. A fork! I looked at the person nearest to the fork. Forest green eyes met mine.

I was starting at Torryn Cole.

He was looking at me with an expressionless face, though I could make out that he wasn't exactly comfortable with someone being held at gunpoint. Well, everyone was anxious, except for me, of course. I didn't have time for that shit!

I gestured towards the fork with a little tilt of my head, praying to God that Torryn got what I meant. I almost screamed out a 'Hallelujah', when he gave the slightest nod of his head as if to say that he kind  of understood what I was going to do. And the four of them (Torryn and his friends) must be telepathic because the other three gave their own little nods towards Torryn.
Slowly but smoothly, he pushed the fork towards me. The fork slid from his side of the table to the side where I was standing.

I wasted no time in picking up the fork and stabbing Sheep-guy's hand, the hand that held the gun.
Everything that happened in the next moment was kind of a blur. Sheep-guy dropped the gun out of pain, police sirens were heard, and Torryn, Ethan and Matt sprang up from their seats and jumped onto Sheep-guy, making him fall on the ground. Meanwhile, Owen picked up the gun from the ground and put it on the table and looked at me, to see that I was already standing safely to the side.

Panda-man just froze in his spot, when the police came in and ordered him to put his weapon down. At this, I noticed something strange. Sheep-guy's gun, which was now on the table, had a pink muzzle.

"It's not a real gun, " I muttered lowly, but someone had obviously heard me since Torryn answered, "Of course it isn't !" sounding a little amused and a lot sassier.

"These thieves are dumber than my 7-year-old cousin. Even she would be able to pull off a better thievery, " he snorted at this and then continued in an irritated tone, "And who the fuck even decides to rob a cafe of all places?"

Before anyone could answer his obviously rhetorical question, I was attacked by a small body, hugging me fiercely. I, recognizing the dark hair and similar body structure, hugged back my best friend, who let me go after two solid minutes of hugging.

"I was so scared, " Mae looked at me, relief evident in her eyes and hugged me again. Rhea joined us with Mason, making it a group hug. And then, Ethan just yelled "group hug" and joined us, too.

After the (slightly weird) group hug, Matt, being the polite gentleman he was (his words, not mine), said that introductions were due since we had to sit there for a while anyway according to one of the police officers. Turned out, we all pretty much knew each other. While everyone was just talking about random shit because everyone wanted to calm down, I turned to my right and looked at Torryn, who was sitting beside me.

"I almost forgot, thank you for back there. It would have sucked if you hadn't understood what I meant," I smiled, looking at him with gratitude.

He merely shrugged.

"You're welcome. Also, what are you?  You were held at gunpoint, albeit an orange one. How are you still so calm?" He said looking at me suspiciously as if to figure me out.

I smirked. "An adrenaline filled creature. Don't worry, I'll freak out later," I shrugged.

Well, today sure was interesting!
