DMITRI POV

Since our brunch at the summer house in Long Island almost two weeks had passed and Jasper and I have been doing great. Man, I was totally lost and gone for my little and sweet and super sexy kitten and even if I know it was wrong to say it, I was getting edgy to have more. Oh crap, I sounded just like a creepy and old geezer, but hey, cut me some slack, will you man? Jasper is just irresistible and damn, he’s an incredible teaser. He was getting more relaxed and bold day after day and wow, what it came out from it was me going almost nuts.

Ok, remove the almost and replace it with “completely”.

Yeah, my monkey was driving me totally nuts.

Argh, what was I thinking about right now in class while I was trying my hardest to keep awake during this endless boredom? Why did I need to take Spanish? Argh...should ask Jas to give me private lessons about it, since he’s awesome at speaking it. Oh, private lessons with my kitty, wow, that’s hot. Man, here we go again. But hey, freaking hot. Just think of him teaching me how to properly speak Spanish.

Oh man, I’m getting hard.

I grinned and then hit the desk with my forehead, trying to push away the picture forming in my head of Jasper and me alone in my or his room. Oh dear me, I had turned into another Sasha, only less beastly. Oh joy. I hit the desk another time and the teacher stopped right in front of me and gave me her sufficient and annoyed look; why couldn’t she just ignore me? River softly kicked under my chair as to say to straighten up and avoid problems. What a pain in the neck, but he was right, I had a date with Jasper in the afternoon and sure I wasn’t going to spoil it with detention or the like. Actually, Andy invited us over his house to watch a movie and do something together and I knew my kitty missed his friends from skateboard. The problem was the damn rain. It hadn’t stopped raining for a week and this was getting quite annoying even for me.

“Mr. Denisov, is everything ok? Or are we making further brain damages?” I noticed I was the only person in class she spoke to in English; even that badass of Sasha spoke better Spanish than I did, even if he didn’t like it. Bet I was for her a lost cause and for me it was fine. But the hell? Brain damages? Oh, my hitting the desk. Right,

“Everything is ok, thank you. I was just…err, trying to remember a word in Spanish.” Right, as if. She seized me from head to toe like I had grown a second and third head and then scoffed. Man, just leave it and get going with this useless class.

“And which word might that be?”

Oh shoot, she had to ask it, right? I tried to rank for a word, but obviously only one was there at the moment.

“Err, kitty?”

The teacher narrowed her eyes so much she almost squeezed them shut and then sighed loudly. River and Sasha sniggered beside me very quietly, probably guessing why I came out with the word and Hayden literally burst out laughing like an idiot, followed by Derek and Danny. Oh well, at least now I wasn’t the one at the centre of her attention, so good job for laughing.

“Do you think this is all a joke?” She asked quite pissed off to my friends with her accent going crazy.

River coughed and then decided to answer for the others, probably in the intent to seduce her with his charm and avoid my best mate to scare her off. Believe me or not, it always worked. I think she had a soft spot for my friend and obviously the smartass would use it to his advantage.

“Miss Arroyo I believe my friends did not intend to burst out laughing because they found your extremely interesting lesson a joke. We do all enjoy your classes very much.” He smiled at her in his usual way and damn it, our teacher blushed and for a moment was at a loss of words.

Good call, mate. I grinned at him and he quickly eyed me as to say shut-up and behave and so I tried to smile at our teacher in the same way, but from her look I might have seemed like a moronic dofus. Derek, Danny and Hayden quickly apologized and thanks to River we all were fine and soon she forgot about us; then I realized I didn’t get to know how to say “kitty” in Spanish.

“I believe it’s gato, but that works for cat, so maybe you could use gatito or minino.” I whipped my head at my friend and stared at him probably looking like a moron. The man here read minds, now I had the proof of it. He rolled his blue eyes and snorted. “I don’t read minds, blockhead, you looked like about to solve the math quest of the year, so I guessed you really were thinking about that.”

“Err..you’re scaring, know that mate?” I asked him and Hayden coughed to suppress another fit of laugh.

“I think it is more correct to say that you are obvious.” He teased smirking in his usual way and I saw Sasha smiling and shaking his head.

“Guess in a way you’re right.” I shrugged and thought he was right. River winked and turned his attention to the lesson; well, his apparent attention, because I knew he was actually exchanging messages with someone on the phone, probably his last conquest, whose name nobody knew, well maybe Sasha knew it. But obviously no teacher ever caught him red-handed, because he was a real smartass. The same deal was for Derek, who now spent half of the time texting that crazy chick, Shenice. Ha, our plan worked perfectly and those two just hit it off.

As for me, I wasn’t very good at concealing what was on my mind and even worse about filtering that. Scratch that, I was hopeless when it came to filter stuff. Oh well, whatever, who gave a damn about it; my kitty didn’t mind it and actually said he liked it. Hmm…I wanted to see Jasper and had still to wait another two hours. Oh man, two hours and one of them was stupid biology. Argh, now really couldn’t wait to hug and be with my monkey.

“Dude, pay attention or not even our River’s powerful charm will save your butt from a note.” Derek whispered to me from behind.

“Man, you are another scaring bastard.” I murmured back and he silently sniggered.

During the other hours I tried my best to pay attention and even forced myself to take notes; good God, you have no idea what that meant to me and the effort it cost, but hey, Jas was proud of me and my parents told me being with Jasper was doing me good, because apparently my grades were better. Alright, slightly better. But hey, it was true that being with my kitty was doing me great and I felt like I never felt before. Complete and settled. Man, to think until few months ago I couldn’t even formulate the idea of having a serious relationship and now? Now I felt settled and I could see myself in the future with Jasper, living together, building a house for us, having a family with him.

Wow, this sounded sort of crazy, but it was just how I felt. Right.

Right.

I smacked my forehead and shook my head. Of course it was how I felt, I was lost for Jasper, I mean, I think I was in love with him. I scratched behind my ear and then nape of my neck, thinking about it, but wasn’t so easy to think and rationalize feelings, given I never ever felt anything like this, not even remotely close. Was I in love with Jasper? I think I was, but how could I make sure of that? Better talk to Sasha, in the hope he won’t mind that, but screw it; he was in love with his man and now clearly and bluntly admit it.

So yeah, I think I was in love with my kitty and a moronic grin rose on my face and the biology teacher looked at me exasperated and decided to give up on that. Who cared about…about…hell if I knew what he was talking about right now; I just discovered something amazing, so the hell with your boring and useless subject. Wondered what my friends and family would say about it; I chuckled under my breath picturing my mum’s reaction, because dude, I sure wasn’t going to tell dad. Can you honestly see a guy going to his father and say “Dad, I think I’m in love with my sexy and hot boyfriend.” Right, as if. And what would Jasper say about that? Wait a moment. What if he didn’t feel the same? Man, no, no, no…let’s not think about it. Most importantly, let’s not blab it out as usual out of the blue, ok? Sure, deal.

My family. And that meant my twin brother. I sighed and scraped my hair now more annoyed; Anatoly had behaved oddly since that day in Long Island, when he was sending murdering glares to my man and to me. You couldn’t exactly call them murdering glares, but sure they weren’t nice and sweet and I didn’t like one bit the way he eyed Jasper. He was such a homophobe and couldn’t stand that side of him, but something ticked me off and damn for a moment I even thought he might fancy MY boyfriend. Alright, I knew it, I was getting overly jealous and protective, but man, you never know. When we went back home I took him out of guard a moment we were alone and clearly told him to piss off and don’t even dare to think about Jas. He seized me with his usual sick stare and scoffed, smacking my hands off and walking away without saying a word and believe me, that was damn strange, because he would never miss the chance to talk back and try to mock me. He hated me so damn much and for some freaky reason I couldn’t phantom; what the hell have I done to him? Hell if I knew.

I exhaled and sprawled back on the chair; Sasha shot me a quick look and very quietly asked me in Russian if everything was ok. I simply nodded and he rested his eyes on me for a couple of seconds and I knew he had already understood everything.

“Is it about that bastard?” My friend never forgave my twin the way he behaved with me and then with our friends and the way he insulted his family. Sasha was right in that and I felt the same, but as much moronic as it was, I missed the brother I used to have.

“He’s a bit a strange lately.” I admitted and he crooked one eyebrow as to say “stranger than usual?”

“Keep an eye on him.” He quickly said, thinking about something. “Stranger than usual? Is it after meeting Jasper with your family?”

“Yeah, I don’t know man. He kept looking at him as if looking at crap, but at the same time he would never drop his stare and then pissed me off eyeing me as if looking to a load of crap. Oh well, whatever. Just warned him and we should be fine. Probably he tried some weird drug and that freaked him out.” I shrugged it off and checked a message that just arrived to my phone. It was from Jasper and a huge grin formed on my face.

“Boy, today school is super boring! Can’t wait to see you.”

“Same for me monkey and have biology… Going to kiss the light out of you.”

I could see his face going red and his sweet chocolate eyes widening while reading my message and I wished I could snatch a picture of his expression. Good God, he was just so damn adorable and cute. Well, sensually cute, with his soft lips caressing my skin and playing with my soft spots and then nibbling them with his white teeth, his small fingers studying the line of my muscles, while his eyes hungrily travelled my body and set me on fire and…argh, man, I was a masochist, honestly. I got myself hard. Dofus.

“I don’t think he does anymore drugs, you said Oleg is checking on him, right?” I just nodded and realized Sasha might be right. “Well, just keep an eye on him and if he creates more problems, let me know.”

“Thanks, mate. But hey, he’s the hugest homophobe in the US, so no worries there.”

“Dima, some of the worst homophobes sometimes are men deadly scared to admit their own sexuality.” What he said froze me and he saw that, because he shook his head and placed a hand on my shoulder to reassure me. “Hey, that doesn’t mean he is one of them. He’s just a twisted sick bastard, that’s all. And already told you, if you need me, just say it.”

“Yeah, know that. I just can’t understand what went wrong years ago, why he turned out that way and why he hates me so much.”

Sasha studied me for few seconds and then sighed. He had no idea, too.

“I don’t know either, to be honest. To think we all used to be friends.”

The phone vibrated in my jeans pocket again and I almost fell down from the chair when I read the message.

Man, Jas was going to kill me one of these days.

“Can we skip school so we can be alone? Counting the minutes that separates us..”

“Baby, counting the seconds!!”

Crap, now I had raging boner and it was getting damn uncomfortable, so I tried to shift my legs in a more easy position, but didn’t work quite well and I cursed in Russian under my breath; obviously Sasha understood it and eyed me amused and then smirked. Horny bastard.

“You are not the only one wishing to skip school and be alone with your man.” He said with darkening eyes.

Right, he was thinking about Travis. I grinned and gave up, simply spreading my legs out and not giving a flying f*ck about my problem; I mean, for crying out loud, he was my best mate and the others could just turn the other way.

When the damn bell rang, I sprang up and literally ran out of the door and surprised my little and cute boyfriend with a bear-like hug and lifted him from the floor sneaking behind him like a ninja. He first yelped and realizing it was me he giggled and breathed out a “oh boy, Dima”. Cowboy Dallas was there with him and he smirked; alright, he was getting less annoying with Jas and so now I tolerated him more around my kitty, but he would still call him “hottie” or “eye-candy” and occasionally kiss his cheeks. Man, that pissed me off so much.

“Hey big boy, someone is edgy to see his sweet half?” He teased.

“Hey Walker, where did you park your horse?” I retorted back and he just shook his head, smiling and going to greet Jess, Xander and Derek.

Those two guys had lunch with us sometimes, and that because Travis insisted to invite them and did his best to tame Sasha’s temper and icy cold and hard stare towards them. He was remotely fine with Jess because the dude dropped any stupid comment or joke about Travis, but still hadn’t forgotten Xander, but wouldn’t say or do anything to displease his beloved boyfriend.

“Dima, I missed you.” Jas turned around in my hug and tangled his arms around my neck, tiptoeing and snuggling my collarbone and tickling me with his messy hair. Crap, seriously, why weren’t we alone right now?

“Missed you, too.” I pulled him up and ran my nose on his neck. He shivered and I chuckled, gaining a playful smack on my neck.

“We are in school..”

“But you wish to be somewhere else alone with me, isn’t that right? Man Jas, can’t wait to get out of here.” He blushed and I just stole a quick kiss leaving him with wide eyes and then a shy smile on his lips.

“Uhm well…yep, you’re right.” He admitted biting his lips and looking away. “Uhm, but we are going to be with my friends today.”

His friends? Oh crap, forgot about it.

“Damn, had forgotten about it. Alright, it just means we won’t see the end of the movie.” Jas gasped, but then giggled and playfully pulled my earlobe.

“Bad tiger, bad tiger.” He teased and joked and dear me; his fingers toying with my ear and his hand stroking my neck were about to turn me on like hell. And his damn tight and sexy skinny jeans ripped at the knees and giving him a bit of bad-boy air didn’t help a bit in the department.

“Jas, you already got me a boner with your last message, if you keep doing this, I might consider the idea of locking us inside the bathroom.” My monkey almost chocked on air and pulled harder my earlobe. “Ouch, not my fault you turn me on that much.” I defended myself and he first shot me an embarrassed glare, but then smiled sweetly and sort of mewled.

“You guys are coming with us or do you plan to flirt and dirty-talk during the entire lunch break?” Travis smirked while leaning on my best friend’s chest. Sure, he was the one to talk.

“Yo crazy buddy, you are the one enjoying the dirty-talking.” Jasper giggled softly beside me and laced his fingers with mine.

“Hell, don’t even waste time and breathe in denying it, right baby?” He tilted his face to Sasha and the man there smirked at him like a hungry wolf.

“Right, love.”

River studied the four of us with an amused and cat-like smile and then turned around checking something on his phone.

“River man, now it’s your turn.” I mused; he stopped and looked at me from his shoulder with a mischievous smile.

“And who says my turn hasn’t already come?” I scrolled my shoulders and head and chuckled; it was impossible to guess what he was thinking about and what was going on with him, so I had given up long time ago. Jasper halted a moment and felt him shifting his head towards my friend and they exchanged a quick look, then River winked and walked towards Derek and Kevin.

“Everything ok, Jas?” I asked him, since he was still looking at his direction.

“Uhm sure, everything is fine. I…I just have an idea, but I think it is a silly and nonsensical idea.” He shook his head and beamed at me. Man, no one else had such a sweet and melting smile.

“Which idea do you have?”

“Nothing, I’ll tell you another time.” Alright, I nodded and then we followed our friends to the cafeteria and got something to eat, given that as usual I was starving.

My baby sat beside me and we went on talking about a new game I bought for my x-box and about a Star Wars book; then he said he began to read “Game of Thrones” and thus we decided to go and buy the DVDs to watch together and then I remembered something.

At the beginning of next month it was going to be Jasper’s birthday and thought it would be nice to organize something, like a surprise party, and bet Travis would help me in that. So, mental note to ask the crazy dude over there about Jas’s birthday. Wow, for a couple of months we were going to be both eighteen, given my birthday was in June. June…finals and college. Argh. I rolled my eyes and anyway I had already applied to some and lucky me I was one of the best in playing hockey, because my grades sure didn’t help in the matter. I just wanted to stay in New York, close to my family, my friends and most importantly to Jasper; he had no idea about college yet, but he still had a whole year to think about it and anyway he was smart and a good student, even though for his moronic stuck-up mother still wasn’t good enough.

Man, she was impossible and couldn’t stand her.

Lunch was over and that meant American literature for me and God help me not to fall asleep or snap when the teacher would begin talking about utterly boring authors and their freaky paranoia and obsessions. I fell in a sort of vigilant slumber and made sure to keep my eyes open when he would turn around and check on me, since I sure wasn’t the most brilliant student in class. Today my lucky star decided to help me, because our coach called us all before the end of the class, needing to talk to us about next week game. We were going to
