Yuna's POV

I could see light coming down from the stairs. I heard footsteps. Kenma backed into a corner like he knew something was coming. But when I saw who came down it was just Mr. Sugawara.

"Hey Yuna! It's a bit dark in here isn't it? Well it's where my grandparents kept me when I misbehaved. But I'm not saying you were misbehaving I'm just saying that I can't trust you while I'm distracted." He smiled.

He was a a mad man. He laughed like a maniac.

"I see you met Kenma." He said looking at Kenma who was hiding in the corner.

Kenma looked terrified. He must have gone through a lot to be scared of someone who he hasn't even met. Which made me wonder why he wasn't scared of me.

I then heard more footsteps coming down the steps. I'm guessing that was Kuroo. When he came down he had black messy hair. He was taller then Mr. Sugawara. He looked intimidating.

"So is this who you took?" He asked Mr. Sugawara while looking at me.

He rested his elbow on Mr. Sugawara's shoulder. He smirked at me.

"Hmm she seems a little skinny." He said walking over to me.

He squatted down and looked at me.

"She almost failed gym class." Mr. Sugawara laughed.

Okay he didn't need to share that part.

"Kenma!" He said not taking his eyes off me.

Kenma jumped as he was startled.

"Did you talk to her yet? You should introduce yourself." He said and looked over at Kenma.

"I- I already did." He replied softly.

"Kuroo's an old buddy of mine." Mr. Sugawara said as Kuroo stood up.

"Well more of murder buddy." Kuroo corrected him.

Murder? H-he's a murderer? W-what?

"Yup, we did commit a few murders together, I don't recall it was more then 5. I think we just helped burry each other's bodies more." Mr. Sugawara said.

He says it like it's normal. I frowned.

"Aw sugar don't be mad. I didn't kill anyone who had to do with you." He said as he saw me frown. "Anyways I brought this." He said and took a knife out of his back pocket.

Oh hell no. I'm not dealing with this shit.

"Kuroo said I should mark you." He said walking over to me.

Mark me? What the fuck?

"Oi heat up the knife so it cuts through easier." Kuroo said and tossed what looked like a lighter to Mr. Sugawara.

Mr. Sugwara caught the lighter and started to heat up the knife. At this point I was starting to get terrified. What the hell were they gonna do to me?

"Don't worry sugar. It's only gonna hurt for a few seconds. I promise it will go by very quick." He said to me as he squatted down in front of me.

He grabbed my wrist. I was frozen in fear. My arm was shaking. He held the knife towards my forearm.

"Wait you forgot to-" I heard Kuroo say but he got cut off.

Mr. Sugawara had already started to push the knife into my forearm. Kuroo got cut off by slamming his hand against my mouth which cause my head to slam against the brick wall. Tears filled my eyes as pain struck in my arm.

"Why isn't she screaming?" Kuroo asked.

Why wasn't I screaming? Was I in so much pain that I couldn't even muster up the strength to scream?

Or was it fear that was keeping me from screaming? I looked down at my wrist. There was blood dripping onto the ground. It looked like Mr. Sugawara was carving something into my arm.

Kuroo slowly took his hand off my mouth. Tears rolled down my face. I was sobbing at this point.

"Just a little longer, your doing great." Mr. Sugawara said.

I shut my eyes tightly until I felt the blade being lifted from my skin. I opened them again. My face was soaked in my own tears.

Mr. Sugawara let go of my wrist. It fell to the ground on its own.

"Oh I forgot the first aid kit." Kuroo Said. "Where did you say it was again?" He asked.

"I'll just go with you." Mr. Sugwara said.

They both went up the stairs. Before they were out of view Kuroo gave Kenma a look. I forgot Kenma was there.

I tilted my head back against the wall and sighed. My arm hurt like shit. He cut deep. I didn't even know what he carved into my arm.

There was too much blood to see but from what I could tell it was a word. Or a name. After a little bit Mr. Sugawara and Kuroo came back. Mr. Sugawara was holding a white small box with a handle on it.

He got on one knee and opened the box in front of me. He took out what looked like a white cloth.

He took my wrist and put the white cloth over. He then applied pressure. I winced as he applied the pressure.

"Shh, it's okay." He said to me.

He was applying pressure so that the bleeding would stop but I wished it didn't. I just want the pain to stop. If I lost enough blood I would faint and die peacefully, right?

He kept applying pressure for a while and then took off the cloth. He then got some cotton pads and put what I think was rubbing alcohol.

"This is gonna sting." He said before patting the cotton pads on my wrist.

I kept a straight face. I don't know how but I felt fine now. Yeah it hurt like shit but I felt normal other then that. Mr. Sugwara got out some bandages and then started to wrap my arm when I noticed a pain in the back of my head.

I touched where the pain was with my other hand. When I looked at it there was blood. Kenma and I made eye contact as he saw the blood on my finger.

"Sugar, where is that blood from?" Mr. Sugawara asked as he was wrapping my arm.

"My head?" I whispered.

"Oops, that's my bad. I slammed her head against the wall earlier when I didn't want her to scream." Kuroo spoke up.

"She could've screamed if she wanted to. We're in the middle of a forest. No one can hear her. Not to mention that we're in a sound proof basement." Mr. Sugawara said to him.

"I- Sorry." Kuroo replied.

Mr. Sugwara finished wrapping my wrist.

"Let me see your head." He said to me.

I looked down as he moved untied my hair from its messy low bun. Hair fell to the side of my face. He moved more of it out of the way to see where the blood was coming from.

"Give me your phone." Mr. Sugwara said to Kuroo.

"What? Why?" He asked.

"For the flash light dumbass I left mine upstairs." Mr. Sugwara replied.

Kuroo handed him the phone and he turned on the flash light.

"Hmm, Do you feel dizzy?" He asked me as he tilted my head back up to where I was facing forward again.

"I don't know." I replied softly.

"Well for now I'm surprised you don't have a concussion. You hit your head really hard it cracked it open. You'll be fine." Mr. Sugawara said as he stood up.

Like I would trust anything he says. He's a liar. I wouldn't trust him with anything anymore. But then I suddenly did feel dizzy.

I guess it was a late reaction. I don't remember much. Just passing out and then waking up to someone carrying me.

Then passing out again. When I woke up again I actually stayed awake. I woke up looking at a celling. My head hurt like shit.

I sat up. I was on a bed. It had light gray sheets and light gray matching pillow cases. The frame of the bed was made of wood.

But it was painted black. The head board was a perfect rectangle which reached one side of the bed to the other.

The gray bed sheets complimented the color of the bed frame. I looked around the room. The walls were painted a creamy white while the floor was a light color of brown.

There was a bedside table painted black on each side of the bed. A lamp on one of them.

In front of me was a giant wardrobe with a TV on top of it. I swung my feet off the bed. My bare feet pressed against the cold hard wood floor as I stood up.

My head still hurt like shit. I tried to find the door. But there were like 3 different doors in the room. They were all colored a light gray like the bed sheets.

I tried the first door and it was the closet. I tried the second and it was the bathroom. Finally I got to the last door and it was the way out.

When I walked out i saw the same giant chandelier. The room I was in was right in front of it.

I looked down the balcony. The front door was right there. I could run for it. But I can't leave Kenma. I rubbed my head and stumbled down the stair case on my right.

I then walked into the room on the right again and saw Mr. Sugwara. He was sitting on the couch. There was a giant fireplace in front of him and above the fire place was another TV.

Kuroo was sitting next to him and Kenma was no where to be seen. I still felt tired. I wanted more sleep. But didn't I just sleep for a while? I looked out the window. It looked like it was around the afternoon.

"Hey, your awake." I heard Mr. Sugawara say as he saw me looking out the window. "You wouldn't be walking around. Here sit down." He said walking over to me and wrapping is arm around my shoulders and leading me to the couch.

He plopped me down next to Kuroo.

"I'll get you some tea." Mr. Sugawara said before disappearing around the corner.

I sat down looking down at my hands that were clasped together. I realized I still didn't know what Mr. Sugawara had carved into my wrist.

Kuroo sat next to me drinking what seemed to be a cup of water. Or vodka for all I know. A few moments later Mr. Sugawara came back around the corner with a cup in his hands.

He set the cup on the table in front of us. He then sat down in between Kuroo and I.

"Drink it." Mr. Sugawara said softly.

My shakey hand reached over for the cup and grabbed the handle. I lifted it up and brought it all the way to my lips before stopping.

That bastard. It was the same smell. The smell that I sniffed when he was have tea at my place.

When I went to the living room for a moment and then came back my tea smelt different. But that same smell lingered in this tea.

"Is something wrong?" Mr. Sugawara asked.

I slightly chuckled under my breath and set the cup back down on the table.

"I may be weak but I'm not stupid." I said looking at him.

"Ah So you noticed." Mr. Sugawara said.

"She got you good." Kuroo laughed while taking another sip of is drink.

"If you just want me to go to sleep I'll gladly do it. Saves me time from looking at you." I said to him.

"Your getting really bold considering your the one being held hostage." He said getting closer to my face.

"No I'm just acting my normal self. I guess I'm not so pretty after you get past all that formal stuff." I sighed.

"Well-" Mr. Sugawara got interrupted by the sound of the front door opening.

Who was that?

"And there He is." Kuroo chuckled.

I turned around to see who it was and to my surprise I saw Kenma....

I feel like I haven't made Kenma seem like himself. I'll work on that🙇‍♀️.
