"I know it's early and a Monday but I wanted to talk to everyone before we opened." I looked at Tory, Edith and George. Edith and George looking more awake than Tory, who was currently nursing a coffee in her hands while staring at me with hooded eyes.

"I decided that today and Tomorrow will be our last days of selling until the New Year." At my words Tory perked up.

"Wait, seriously?"

"You guys have been working non-stop the last two weeks and deserve some days off."

"What about the orders?" Edith asked.

"We only have a few left that we can finish today and tomorrow. I posted on our website and on the door that we will be closing from the 22nd to the 2nd of January." The look of excitement on Tory's face had me grinning.

"But that means I need you all here until 3 today and tomorrow. Is that okay?" I wanted to be sure that we got all the orders done in time.

"Works for me." George sent me a smile, followed by agreeing nods from Edith and Tory.

"Okay so-"

"Where's Logan?" At the mention of Logan's name my heart did a little flutter. I haven't heard from him since Saturday night after he dropped me off at home.

After what happened at the bar he drove us around for a little bit before I was okay enough to go home. I hadn't wanted to leave Logan's side but it was getting late and I felt bad making him drive around with me when he could have still been at the bar with his friends or home relaxing.

I thought he would just drop me off downstairs but he quietly got out and walked me up to my apartment door. Once again being the true gentleman that he was. Right before he left he pulled me back into a hug and kissed the top of my head. A kiss so innocent but it played non-stop in my head the following day.

So much that when I went to get coffee with Aubrey the next day I kept zoning out. Every time Aubrey asked what was wrong I just waved her off and told her I was tired. I wasn't sure I wanted to tell her about Logan and I; even though there was no 'Logan and I'.

I love Aubrey, she's like a sister to me, but I knew she would somehow tell my brother which would just cause more issues than it was worth. And I didn't want her to know about what happened at the bar. Then she really would tell Knox and he'd go all protective mode on my ass. Something I was not in the mood for.

"Um..." I wasn't sure if Logan was going to come to the bakery again this week or if last week was a fluke. I mean he didn't really work here anyways so it wasn't like he was expected to be here.

As I struggled to come up with a response the ding of the front door interrupted me. Glancing over Edith's shoulder my eyes landed on the person walking through the door.

"Logan!" Tory practically yelled when she caught sight of him. "You came!"

I couldn't look away from him as he walked around the counter, sending a small smile to everyone before he looked at me. Nothing could stop the butterflies from erupting in my stomach as our eyes met.

Something seemed to shift between us Saturday. I wasn't entirely sure what it was but I was pretty sure he felt it too.

"Sorry I'm late." His voice broke me out of my staring.

"You're good we haven't started yet." I sent him a small smile. "I was just telling everyone tomorrow is our last day of selling." Surprise fleeted across his face. Before I could get lost staring at his eyes I looked down at my iPad.

"With that said we better get going. There are pies and cookies already out of the oven, a batch in the oven and more batches waiting to be put in." Having got here two hours ago I was able to make quite a few things already. "We have five orders that need to get done before noon."

Looking at everyone I started directing them to certain orders. With not a lot of time we had to get going, especially with a few people already starting to stand outside waiting for the doors to open.

Having Edith man the front I got to work in the back with everyone else. Logan and I stood side by side, rolling out dough while George and Tory worked on cakes.

It was the first time we've been close since Saturday. I wanted to say something but wasn't sure what to say. A part of me was still embarrassed at how I cried in front of him. Not really my finest moment.

"How are you?" Logan spoke first, glancing over at me. I knew what he really meant.

"I'm okay." And I was. I wasn't going to let what happened Saturday effect me, especially with Christmas days away. There was no point in dwelling on it. He got what he deserved with Logan punching him.

Getting home Saturday Jess had immediately pulled me into a hug and apologized profusely. She went on for a good ten minutes telling me how sorry she was, not letting me go the entire time. I eventually had to yank myself out of her arms and all but yell at her to stop apologizing.

It wasn't her fault Ryan didn't know the meaning of 'no'. How was she suppose to know that when he came over. It wasn't like she encouraged his behavior either. Even the guy she was talking to and Ryan's friend, Sebastian, felt horrible about what happened.

Jess and I spent Sunday together, she even tagged along to get coffee with Aubrey. She basically refused to leave my side. It was sweet but not necessary. I really was fine.

"Do you-" Logan started but I waved him off.

"Logan I'm fine. I promise." He looked at me like he was skeptical before giving me a small nod.

"So closing the bakery early?"

"You seem surprised." I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Coming from the girl who gets here three hours early." In return he raised his eyebrows at me. Well...he got me there.

"Figured everyone would want to be with family." I shrugged. "Oh by the way." I suddenly remembered. "You are still planning on coming to Christmas with me right?"

As soon as the words left my mouth I wanted to slap myself. 'Coming to Christmas with me', seriously Olivia. If I could get anymore awkward.

"I don't want to intrude."

Putting down my rolling pin and turned to face him.

"Logan you aren't intruding. Aubrey's mom already said you could come. Leo and Abigail are camping out in the living room so you can have the office." Yesterday when I met with Aubrey for coffee we talked about Christmas and when her mom heard about Logan coming she was practically giddy.

Aubrey's mom is like Mrs. Claus. Wanting anyone and everyone over for Christmas. There's no way Logan wouldn't be welcome.

"I don't know-"

"Too late it's happening." I cut him off. No way was I letting him get out of coming for Christmas. "I'm going over to Knox's tomorrow after closing so I'll know more."

Logan stared down at me with a shake of his head.

"What?"

"You aren't letting me out of this are you?" I sent him a wide smile.

"Nope."

The next two days flew by in a flurry of non-stop baking. As soon as we finished one order another one was right there to do. People came in and out of the bakery all day, so many that we had to keep making more batches of things to keep up.

When three o'clock came I had to just put the closed sign up and turn people away. I felt bad but everyone was already running around trying to keep up with orders. So when Tuesday came to close the bakery I think everyone was glad to have a few days off.

For the first time in a little while I actually felt good about not working for a bit. I was looking forward to the days off and not having to stress to get everything done.

With Christmas literally 3 days away I was more than ready to get in the Christmas mood. My mouth watered at the thought of Aubrey's moms hot chocolate. I was so ready for all the Christmas stuff we did this time of year.

"What time are you guys leaving tomorrow?" I asked Aubrey from my spot on the ground next to Abigail and Leo.

As soon as I walked through the door I was bombarded by Abby and Leo about Santa Claus. I almost couldn't understand what they were saying as they talked over each other and told me all about Santa coming to visit.

I'm not sure how it happened but one minute they were telling me about writing a letter to Santa and the next I was pulled to the carpet with a paper shoved in my face. The two of them all but demanded that I write a letter so Santa knew what to give me.

How could I say no two the cutest kids on the planet, especially when they looked at me like that. So here I was laying on my stomach with my letter to Santa in front of me. Leo and Abby sat next to me writing yet another letter; apparently their fifth according to Aubrey.

"Do you think Santa will find us at GG's?" Abby asked, moving closer to my side.

"Of course he will. Santa always has eyes on the good boys and girls, so he knows where you are at all times."

"I'm a good girl!" Abby grinned, showing me her missing teeth.

"Yes you are." I bopped her on the nose with a smile of my own. Abby giggled before turning back to her own letter.

"What about me?" Leo pouted, flashing me those green eyes. (I just want to remind you guys Abigail is 6 and Leo is 4. As kids they don't talk grammatically correct but it can be hard adding that to the story. So just imagine a little kid asking)

"How could we forget about you." I reached out and tickled his side making him laugh loudly and squirm away.

The two turned back to their letters finally letting their mom talk.

"I think we are leaving around nine. Give us time to get there and unpacked." Aubrey answered. "You know Mom she'll have some sort of big dinner planned."

"Bet she has tons of activities planned out already."

"Oh you know it. Especially with all the kids."

"I keep forgetting Jackson and Caleb have a daughter now."

"I know who would have thought Jackson would settle down and have a kid." Aubrey laughed.

"Bet your mom is over the moon with all the grandkids."

"Just you wait she'll be on you about getting married and having kids."

"I'm only 25!" I shot her a wide eyed look.

"Need me to remind you I was only 26 when I asked your brother to be my fake boyfriend for Christmas because of that conversation?"

"And who do you have to thank for that, hm?" I sent her a smug grin.

"Taking credit for my relationship?"

"Yep without me you guys wouldn't have met." Which was honestly true. If I hadn't replied to Aubrey's ad for my brother they wouldn't have met. So they really do have me to thank.

"I mean-" I was cut off by a heavy body slamming down on my back. My breath got knocked out of lungs as a little body wiggled on top of me.

"Auntie Livvy write!" Abby whined loudly. It took a minute for my breath to come back into my lungs as she literally bounced on my back.

"Regret getting me and your brother together?" Aubrey looked at her daughter bouncing on my back with a wide grin.

"What are we regretting?" A familiar voice asked. I looked up to see my brother walking through the door, following right behind him was Logan. Even though I literally saw him hours ago I felt my heart race a little bit.

"Your sister is taking credit for our relationship." I scrunched my nose up as my brother and Aubrey kissed, smiling lovingly at each other. I went to look away only to have my ponytail pulled back.

"Who says you get credit?" Knox looked down at me, not even phased that his daughter was sitting on my back and pulling my hair. "I don't see you married to Aubrey."

"I answered the ad." I grunted.

"And I made the kids." He shot back.

"Excuse me? YOU made the kids?" I didn't need to look at Aubrey to know she was crossing her arms, sending a glare at her husband. Knox looked at me with a 'oh shit' expression. I sent him a smug look before my hair was once again pulled.

"Livvy." Beside me Leo whined. I turned my attention away from my brother, who was trying to backpedal his response, and looked at my nephew.

"Yeah buddy?" I winced when Abby pulled a bit too hard.

"Can Santa give me a lion?" Leo was completely serious as he looked at me.

"A Lion?"

"A big cat!" He nodded.

"Um..." I wasn't entirely sure what to say. I mean do I say yes and get his hopes up only to be disappointed? Because I am 100 percent certain Knox and Aubrey are not getting him a real lion.

"You never know. Santa is full of magic." Was all I could come up with as he stared at me intently. At my response he lit up and grinned widely.

"What are you asking Santa for Livvy?" Abby said loudly as she played with my hair, well her version of playing.

"Did I hear Santa?" An all too familiar voice asked above me, just as a pair of shoes came in my line of vision. With some difficulty I looked up at Logan who was staring down at me with amusement clear on his face.

"Santa is coming!" Leo yelled.

"SANTA CLAUS!" I winced at Abby yelling it in my ear. I'm pretty sure my back was going to be broken if she keeps bouncing around.

"How about we go find some cookies for Santa?" Logan suggested. I could have kissed him right then. As soon as he said cookies Abigail jumped off my back. "Take Leo to the kitchen, I bet there's some in there." Logan winked at the of them before they took off, hand in hand.

Without Abby on my back I rolled over groaning. For such a small kid she sure was heavy as hell.

"You okay down there?"

"Just peachy." I replied, giving a thumbs up. Logan laughed, the sound making my stomach flutter. It wasn't often he laughed and I knew it would forever be one of my favorite sounds.

"Here." He extended a hand for me to grab. Grateful for the help I grabbed it. He effortlessly lifted me up to my feet. The motion making my head spin slightly. I gripped his hand as I gained my bearings.

"Thanks." I reluctantly let go. Reaching back I pulled my hair out of the messy pony, curtesy of Abby.

"What were you doing on the floor anyways?" Logan asked, his eyes watching my every movement.

"The kids wanted to write a letter to Santa."

"And what did you ask for?" I didn't miss the way his eyes sparkled and the corner of his lip twitched in amusement. He was teasing me. Oh two can play at this game.

"Wouldn't you like to know." I peered up at him, the corner of my lip quirking up.

"Oh I would." Logan's eyes traveling from my head to my toes, lingering a bit longer on my lips. When his tongue darted out to wet his bottom lip I swore a zing went straight through my body and between my legs. It didn't help Logan was growing out his beard which made him look more rugged.

"I-I," All thought left my mind as he took a step towards me, close enough I could feel the heat coming off of him.

"Guess we'll see if Santa thought you were a good girl or not." With one last smirk he stepped back and headed for the kitchen, leaving me standing there surprised and yet turned on.

What the hell just happened?

"Liv?" Aubrey called my name, jerking me out of my thoughts.

Walking into the dining room I kept my eyes off Logan, even though the only seat left was next to him.

"So Aub's tells me the bakery is doing really well?" Knox asked a few minutes later once we all started eating.

"It is. The last few days we've had to close the doors early because we sold out twice."

"Oh wow."

"I'll have to hire a few more people in the new year for sure."

"Me!" Leo pipped in.

"Yeah? But that means no licking the bowl." At my words Leo scrunched his nose up.

"No." He immediately shook his head. Everyone laughed at his expression. About six months ago Leo and Abigail wanted to make Knox and Aubrey a cake. It was a great idea but...lets just say more batter was eaten and on the floor than in the actual cake.

When Knox and Aubrey got home that night the kids were bouncing off the walls when they should have been in bed. I almost got banned from makings cakes with them. Probably didn't help I all but ran out of the house as soon as they got home, leaving them to handle the two hooligans.

"So Logan you're coming to Christmas?" Knox looked at his best friend with a raised eyebrow.

"Your sister is hard to say no to."

"Don't I know that."

"Hey, not my fault you easily give in." I pointed my fork at him.

"You're driving up tomorrow right?" Aubrey changed the conversation knowing it would end up leading to an argument between Knox and I.

"Yeah."

"It's suppose to snow later in the afternoon so you need to get going early." Knox chimed in, turning his fatherly tone on me.

"I'll-"

"I don't like the thought of you driving alone when it may snow. Especially in your car." Knox frowned at me from across the table. "How about you come with us."

"I'll be fine." No way was I sitting in the back of their car, sandwiched between two kids for almost two hours. Been there, done that. Not fun. "It's only a few hours away it won't be that bad."

"Liv." Here comes the lecture.

"I'll take her." A new voice chimed in. My head snapped to the side to look at Logan.

Wait what?
