As soon as I removed it, I placed it on the ground next to me and cried my eye out, since the other one was unusable at the moment. Once I felt everything going numb, I stopped crying and turned towards my friends. All I saw was a huge ice glacier with Stain laying on top of it, looking dead as hell. I continue to watch as they tie the unconscious villain up. Next thing I knew, my three friends were coming towards the pro hero and I.

"Good job you guys." I give them a thumbs up from where I'm sitting.

"Y/n, your eye!."

I give Deku a smile as best as possible. "Yea, I'm preparing to become a pirate by Halloween. I mean at least we're all ok and you guys apprehended the psychopath, right?"

He nodded his head.

"Good, I'm glad we're on the same page here. Now then, let's get goi– SHIT!"

As soon as I tried getting up, the pressure was too much on my leg so it gave out, making me slump back down to the ground. I gripped my leg and shut my eyes due to the pain getting to me again. I felt like I was spinning and on the brink of vomiting my intestines out.

Welp... shouldn't have skipped leg day

"Y/n..."

As I open my eyes to look at Todoroki, I see him crouched down to my level. As soon as we make eye contact, he turns around so that his back is facing me.

".. Get on."

I shook my head, "No, no it's fine, I can just use your shoulder as support if that's fine but you carrying me is too much. You used up a lot of energy with the fight and I ain't tryna add an extra weight to you so please, it's fine."

"Todoroki, I can carry Y/n, she's right."

I turn to look at Iida, who looks far worse than the peppermint crouched down. "Iida, you look way worse than hi-im WOAH!"

I looked around myself as I began to rise up from an ice platform and watch as Todoroki stood up. Suddenly, I felt myself sliding down slowly, ending right on his back. I quickly held on to him due to being scared of falling right off.

"Y/n's right, you got injured more than me. I came later on so I'm not suffering anything major unlike you. Also, those pipes on the back of your hero costume would be a disturbance if she were on your back..."

After nodding in agreement, we all began to walk out of the alleyway, with Deku being on the pro hero's back and me on peppermint patty's, and Iida pulling the rope to where Stain was attached to. After finally reaching the sidewalk, other pro heroes came and we watched as Gran Torino gave Deku an earful for leaving his post. While everyone began to check if we were ok, Deku and I were put on the ground per our request.

"I'm really sorry you guys! You were all injured due to my selfishness and anger blinding me from seeing how it could affect everyone else. I'm truly sorry."

"I'm sorry for not being able to notice how cornered you must have felt through all this."

I only nod my head in agreement to deku's statement and watch as some tears fall from Iida's cheeks.

"Thank you guys for helping me."

"That's what friends are for, aren't they?"

As everything passed over, I began feeling a sense of peace.

But as usual in this damn place, life throws unexpected things your way.

"Everyone, get down!"

I immediately tense and we all look in different directions, trying to see what's going on.

Only thing was, we failed to look one way.

Up.

One second, on the ground, the next, Deku and I were both airborne. Every flap the nomu took, everyone on the ground got smaller and smaller.

"Y/n, grab my hand!"

I reach out to grab his hand, but narrowly miss it when something causes the nomu to shift and fall from the sky. Someone grabs a hold of me and Deku as we begin to spiral to the ground, and next thing you know, we crash to the ground. That and the pain from before was enough to cause me to slip in and out of consciousness.

"Y/n!"

I struggled to open my eyes and face Deku, who was hovering over me, observing me as well as turning to look at the villain standing in front of us. As soon as I saw who it was, the last thing I remember saying before I slipped back into unconsciousness was,
"Ohhh shit."

"It still kinda sucks we didn't get any credit for helping at all, like I get it, according to mister chief of police, we weren't supposed to engage, but damn, it was either that or we die."

Deku chuckled a bit as we both sat at the edge of one of the hospital beds, watching the news on his phone about what had occurred two days ago.

After I had passed out at the scene, the pro heroes were able to once again capture Stain but only due to him passing the fuck out because of the internal damage in his body. My friends and I were taken to the hospital where each of us had gone through certain procedures to help heal the injuries we each had sustained in our fight. Todoroki and Iida were the quickest to heal up so they were released, which just left me and Deku.

"Yea, I mean this probably would have been a great time that could've helped put our names out there, but we did go against protocol so it makes sense."

I nod my head and continue to watch as Endeavor made his grandiose speech after the association appointed him as the one who subdued Stain. Already bored out of my mind, I let out a sigh and let myself fall back into the bed, groaning a bit as it put a strain on some of my injuries. As I closed my eyes and started trying to get comfortable on the bed, I couldn't help but notice the intense stare I was receiving from my friend.

"What is it buddy, I can feel you staring into my soul." I say as I peek one eye open, watching him watch me.

"Well it's uh.."

I patted at the empty space next to me, signing for him to lay down as well. He shrugged his shoulders and slowly lowered himself to the empty space, careful to not stress any injury.

"You took a pretty bad beating..."

I nodded, "Uhuh, so did you, as well as Iida, Todoroki, and that pro hero."

"Yea you're right... How's your eye?"

"Hm? My eye's doing pretty good actually, glad I can finally see through it again because man oh man was I gonna have to consider changing my occupation from hero in training to newfound pirate."

At that he let out a small laugh, letting the atmosphere fall into a comfortable silence. The peaceful quietness of it all suddenly got to me and I felt my eyes grow heavy.

"Hey Y/n?"

"Yea what's up?"

"I'm glad we're friends and that you're here with me."

"Awe I'm glad we're friends too. And look, we now have another little secret we both share." I turn to face him and smile.

"Yeah." he says as he turns to face me now. I bring my arm out and we fistbump.

"HAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA SERIOUSLY BAKUGOU!?"

"STOP LAUGHING YOU LITTLE SHITS. MY HAIR GOT USED TO IT AND NOW IT CAN'T EVEN GO BACK AFTER I WASH IT!"

I tried to cover my laugh, but it was no use. Kirishima, Sero and I couldn't handle it and continued to laugh. I quickly whipped out my phone and opened up the camera app.

"Hey Blondie, say cheese!"

Before he could make a move, I spam clicked the button and quickly booked it behind the two boys.

"Wha- Y/N YOU LITTLE BI-"

"RUN Y/N."

"Oh shit!" I say before taking off around the classroom, trying to evade the man with murder in his eyes. I continued to run before I went behind Mina, grabbing her shoulders to move her around as my makeshift shield.

"Hey Y/n!"

I peek my head out to see the person who called out my name. "What's up Sero?"

"Weren't you also with those three when the whole Hero Killer thing happened?"

"Oh yea, I was with them, why what happened?"

"I'm glad you guys made it out alive, seriously, that's crazy!" Kirishima said.

While Bakugou looked at Kirishima when he spoke, I took that as my chance to slip to the back of the classroom where the three guys were at.

"Yea, these guys really held out and were really badass while fending him off before help could arrive."

"It was not just us though, Y/n, I think you were splendid in fending him off as well."

"Thanks Iida, I prob wasn't much help but I'm glad you think so."

He pushed his glasses up and smiled before turning stone faced once again.

"Alright everyone! Sit down as class is about to begin!"

"Ugh, so much for a peaceful moment." I heard Denki groan as he trudged toward his seat..

"I am here! Anyways, we will be starting your basic hero training! I'm glad to be seeing you once again, my fellow students. For this time's training, since you all have just gotten back from your internships, we'll have some fun with a resume training race!"

Its been a year.... Its been a MOTHER FUCKEN YEAR... nah jk its only been about two months LMFAOOOOO

Uhh yes two months thats crazy, if I'm being honest, I had lost the motivation to do anything and my health kept declining which was just peachy, at this point I'm really beginning to think there's a curse to authors that write fics cuz GAYUHDAM WTF 😟😟😟😟😟 next thing yk ima get run over or go through surgery or something (I have three possible surgeries so I'm not that far back from this becoming tru🤨😶👹👹👹) but anywho hope yall are alive and wellllllll
