Immediately after the sound went off, everyone ran right towards us. This was their plan all along, just as we thought. We all looked up to Deku, awaiting his response.

"The call's on you Midoriya, what's your choice?" Tokoyami said as he put Dark Shadow into position.

"Of course... our move is to run away!"

Right before we could make a step, one of class 1B's students released his quirk, causing us to sink in the mud. Our legs weren't budging and the teams were getting closer.

Uraraka's quirk can float us up but she can't do so if we're stuck....

I Got it!

"Izuku, Ochaco, Tokoyami! Close your eyes and prepare to launch!"

Their eyes immediately closed and I made sure to grip onto everyone with great force. I sent the coursing energy to my feet and released a huge blast, sending us all to the sky. Immediately, Uraraka used to quirk to float us away while I sent mini bursts to boost us in the process.

Even in the sky, we weren't safe. Jirou's earphone jacks went straight for us but luckily Dark Shadow swatted them away. With Shadow now watching our blindspots for any incoming teams, we were able to land safely.

As we continued to run around to avoid others, I noticed something at the corner of my eye that seems to be coming right for us.

"Guys! To our left!"

We all looked to see Shoji charging straight towards our line of direction, his dupli-arms seemingly barricading his back.

He's hiding something

Or someone

Tokoyami spoke up, "We need to put some space between us and the other teams now. With us just standing here, we'll be caught by our opponents."

Deku nodded his head "Y/n! Uraraka! Do you think you guys can do what you did earlier again?"

Me and Uraraka looked at each other and nodded. "Yea!"

As I prepared to set off another blast, Ochaco spoke out a confused 'what?!'

"What's wrong?"

"I'm stuck!"

Deku glanced down at where her foot was stuck on the ground.

"That's Mineta's! But where is he..."

I turned back toward Shoji and the answer clicked.

"Izuku I have an idea on where he's at. Look at Shoji's covered back! He's acting as a shield against who's inside! Ochaco you have socks on right?"

She nods her head quickly.

"Ok well I hope you can continue to run without a shoe. Get ready to float!"

"Ok!"

Just then we all duck as Mineta's purple balls and Tsu's tongue sprang out from inside the coverage of Shoji's arms. Once again, we blasted back into the open sky as we continued to doge the other team's quirks. As we went farther away from where we were, I heard a gasp come from Midoriya.

"Kachaan!!?"

I looked at where his eyes followed and saw the one and only Bakugou blasting towards Deku, reaching for the headband.

"DON'T GET CARRIED AWAY! YOU DAMNED NERD!"

His palm opened up to create an explosion, which couldn't be any good for us. I yelled out Tokoyami's name, in which he sent Dark Shadow to block the explosion. Dark Shadow's block forced him to get pushed back when suddenly, tape wrapped around Bakugou's arm. And with that, he was taken back down to his team.

Once again, we made it back down without a hitch.

Well...

other than Uraraka's missing shoe

We continued to run as we watched our surroundings. Hardly any teams were aiming for us now.

They probably gave up on the top prize and are now searching to find points in order to stay qualified...

Deku seemed to notice what I was thinking as well, since he then said, "Everyone, I think it'll now be easy for us to run awa--"

Just then, he got cut off as we quickly backed up and avoided another team. As we stood our ground, we came face to face with Todoroki's team.

"...It won't be that easy, huh.."

Todoroki stared Midoriya down, with a look so fierce, it made me a bit nervous.
"I'll be taking that headband of yours now..."
