Once we're inside the club the manager greets the three of us. He introduces himself to Jennie and lets her know that if she needs anything to let get his attention. He also tells her that her night will be covered by the club as well as any of her guests.

Even though her dad was a star, I don't think she's used to this kind of treatment. She starts to protest until I shake my head at her.

It's not that I'm looking for free stuff.

But when a club offers to comp the night, you don't say no, it's just part of playing the game.

Jennie accepts his offer and then he tells us to follow him.

My heart is still in flutter mode.

The girl of my dreams...

Despite the free drinks I now have access to I'm so drunk on Jennie's answer to the question of who I am that I don't think she has to worry about taking care of me tonight.

Well, not in that way.

I'm smiling brightly as Jennie's hand slips in mine.

It's still hard for me to believe that all of this is real. That I'm here with her and she's here with me.

I glance over at Jennie and she looks as love sick as I feel. Things are going so well for us and I only hope that nothing happens to change that. I know it won't always be like this, but for now I'd like to keep the status quo going as long as possible.

I'm not really watching where I'm going and I end up stumbling into Rosé who's walking ahead of me and Jennie.

"Watch it, Kim," she snaps.

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention," I apologize as we both regain our balance.

Rosé rolls her eyes but she's smiling. "Maybe if you weren't so focused on Jennie you would have noticed that I stopped walking."

I blush furiously, but I do manage to add another sorry in for good measure.

Jennie pulls me close to her. "I don't mind if you stare at me all night."

"Oh god," Rosé dramatically exclaims as she glares at Jennie. "You're just as bad as her."

I shrug and then I snag a chaste kiss from Jennie. "She's the hottest girl here, it's only natural that I can't keep my eyes off of her."

Jennie shakes her head. "You're by far the sexiest creature in this club, hands down."

"Oh brother," Rosé mutters to herself.

If I were in Rosé's shoes I'd want to puke to.

We're kind of nauseating together.

I can't help it though, I've never been this giddy and in love before.

I decide to cut short the debate on who is hotter and save it for another time.

I did mention Jennie was wearing tight black leather pants, right?

Yeah.

It's not even close, that's how fucking gorgeous she is.

She'd win that contest by a landslide.

I snag a nice view of her ass in those pants on our journey across the club.

Damn.

I'm one lucky girl.

We're just about to enter the VIP section when I hear a voice behind me.

"Hey, guys."

Ah!

Seriously!

I didn't want any drama tonight.

Shit!

All three of us stop and I'm pretty sure Irene's presence is unwelcome by Jennie and Rosé as well.

I feel Jennie squeeze my hand and the smile that Rosé had on her face is gone.

"This won't take long," Irene says once we've turned around.

She looks nervous.

I don't say anything because frankly I don't have anything to say.

I know the fact that I slept with Irene is still a sore spot for Jennie. Maybe it shouldn't be but it is.

I should have known I couldn't have one night out without my past coming back to bite me in the ass. As the four of us stand in a tension filled silence it dawns on me that I've had sex with everyone in this weird little group.

I wonder if Jennie is thinking that too.

"What do you want?" Rosé tersely asks Irene and I'm a bit surprised by the level of hostility in her voice.

Irene keeps her eyes on Jennie while she answers Rosé's question. "I just wanted to congratulate you." Really? I still have doubts about her transformation into a nice person. "And to say sorry for whatever has happened in the past."

Rosé sighs like she doesn't believe Irene and I remain in my statue pose.

I've already received my apology from Irene.

What takes place next is up to Jennie.

I really hope she gets that Irene means nothing to me.

Absolutely nothing.

I don't hate her anymore, I don't even dislike her, I look at Irene and feel not a thing.

I study Jennie's face and I can tell she's contemplating what to do.

I'm still not getting why Rosé is reacting so strongly, I'll have to ask her about that.

"Thanks," Jennie replies after a while. Her tone is even but her eyes have lost some of the fire that was present when Irene first appeared.

Irene appears relieved that Jennie accepted her apology. She turns to Rosé. "Can I talk to you for a second?"

"Whatever," Rosé replies like she doesn't care.

I'm thinking Jennie and I are no longer needed here, but I'll ask to be sure. "Do you want us to stay?"

Rosé shakes her head as she crosses her arms over her chest. "No, I'll catch up with you guys in a few minutes."

I respect my friend's wishes and leave her with Irene.

Once Jennie and I are shown to our table and after we've ordered our drinks I figure I should check to see if she's upset. "I had no idea that Irene..."

Jennie cuts me off. "Did I mention how amazing you look?" She presses her lips on mine before I can give her an answer.

Sometimes things need to be discussed.

And sometimes they don't.

Now is one of those times.

That's what Jennie is telling me with her kiss. It's not like we haven't had the whole Irene talk already and there really is nothing to gain by venturing down that path again.

"I love you," I say to Jennie after we pull back from the kiss. "It feels like it's been ages since I told you that."

Jennie smiles as her fingers graze the side of my face. "Good thing you did because I was starting to doubt how you feel."

"I bet you were," I reply and I'm relieved that Irene's appearance doesn't seem to have put a damper on our night.

Rosé hasn't returned yet.

I'm getting even more curious as to why she has such hostility towards Rosé.

I put my hand on Jennie's knee while maintaining eye contact with her. "About earlier, what you said to..."

"I'm back, bitches," Rosé announces as she takes a seat across from Jennie and me.

She's smiling but she doesn't look happy.

"Welcome," I say as I separate a bit from Jennie. I don't want to make her uncomfortable. "Are you ok?"

"Of course I am," Rosé tells me but I don't believe her. Her leg is bouncing around and she seems on edge. "This place is pretty cool, right?"

"Yeah, real cool." I can't figure my friend out right now. "What's going on?"

Rosé rolls her eyes. "Nothing, l told you already."

Uhm.

Ok.

A waiter brings the drinks Jennie and I ordered before I can press Rosé on the reason for her sudden mood change.

"Where's my drink?" Rosé asks once he's left our table.

"I wasn't sure what you wanted," I say and I think that was the wrong answer.

I think that because Rosé mumbles "typical" under her breath but she said it loud enough for me to hear. She gets up and walks over to the bar without looking in my direction.

Wow.

I'm dumbfounded.

Rosé is usually so easy going.

"I'll be right back," I tell Jennie and she nods her head.

I find Rosé at the bar ordering two drinks for herself and even though I suspect she knows I'm behind her, she ignores my presence.

I put my hand on Rosé's shoulder but she doesn't turn around. "What's wrong?"

"Are you hard of hearing, Jisoo? Nothing is wrong," Rosé replies with her back to me.

"You suck at lying," I say before I force Rosé to look in my direction. "There's obviously something bothering you."

"I didn't mean bite your head off," Rosé relents. "Honestly, I'm fine, I just want to have a good time tonight." I'm about to respond when Rosé stops me. "Please, Jis, just drop it ok?"

"Fine." I give in. "We'll talk about this later."

A club is probably not the best place for a heart to heart chat anyway.

That doesn't mean I'm going to let this go though.

"Go back to your girl and I'll be there once I get my drinks," Rosé says and I know that this subject is closed.

For now.

"Is Rosé ok?" Jennie asks me after I return to the chair next to her.

"I think so," I tell Jennie as I wrack my brain for a reason Rosé's acting this way.

Jennie puts her arm around me. "If you need anything just let me know."

I offer her a weak smile but I hope she realizes how much her words mean to me.

Rosé comes back a few minutes later and all traces of whatever was bugging her earlier are gone. She seems to be back to her regular self and while that should alleviate my concerns, it doesn't.

"So, Ms. Rock Star, how awesome is it getting such first class treatment?" Rosé inquires before she downs one of her drinks in one go.

"Pretty awesome," Jennie replies while nursing her own drink. "But I'm not a rock star; I don't even have a record deal."

Oh ye of little faith.

Rosé has this smirk on her face like she knows something. "Those are just details. You worry too much."

"That's what I tell her," I joke.

Rosé polishes off her second drink and she flags down the waiter to order two more. "Might as well take advantage of not having to pay."

I laugh at my friend's reasoning, however, there's a nagging voice in my head that won't go away.

It's really hard for me to keep my mouth shut at the best of times.

But when Rosé is behaving like a different person it makes it even harder.

We make small talk and point out all the celebrities around us until Rosé says she's bored and wants to dance.

She's had three more drinks by the way.

"I'll be right there," I tell Rosé before she disappears into the crowds of people on her way to the dance floor.

"Do you mind if I dance with Rosé by myself?" I ask Jennie after she's gone. "It's not that I don't want to be with you but..."

"It's ok," she interjects. "I get it, go, I'll be fine."

"Thanks, I won't be long." We kiss briefly and then I stand up.

I leave Jennie and go off in search of Rosé.

I find her grinding with a girl I don't know but she doesn't protest when I pull her away.

We dance for a little while and each time I try to get Rosé off the dance floor she tells me no. I'm not trying to ruin her night, I'm concerned about her. Once I accept that she really is set on not discussing what's on her mind I ask if it's ok that I get Jennie.

Rosé says it's not an issue and I return a few minutes later with Jennie in tow.

The three of us dance as a group until Rosé announces she wants to get another drink. Jennie and I both say we're good so Rosé goes back to the bar by herself.

I wrap my arms around Jennie's neck as we move closely together.

Really close.

Her hands go to my hips and when she touches my bare skin I nearly explode.

The people around us go disappear and like most times when I'm with Jennie, she's all I see.

I slide down her body.

I slide back up.

But there's a difference to the last dancing episode we had.

We don't have to worry about not showing our true feelings.

Jennie grabs hold of the back of my neck and pulls me into a kiss that is so hot I briefly worry that it might set off the sprinklers in the club.

I love feeling her hot mouth on mine.

Our bodies can't seem to say away from each other.

As hot as making out with Jennie on the dance floor is, if we don't stop I won't be able to control myself.

I don't think it would be good for Jennie's career if we're arrested for having sex in public.

"You're a really good kisser," Jennie pants in my ear.

I smirk in response as we start dancing again.

It takes four more songs for me realize that Rose hasn't come back from her trip to the bar.

My eyes scan the club and when I finally spot Rosé I have to do a double take to make sure that my eyes are not deceiving me.

They're not.

She has Irene pressed up against a wall.

And her tongue down her throat.

Uhm.

Ok.

That's interesting.

And mildly disturbing.

I know I had sex with Irene but this is different.

It's Rosé and she's drunk.

Maybe that's Irene's thing, pouncing on drunk girls and taking advantage of them.

My heart is telling me to go over and break them apart. Actually, my head is telling me the same thing as well.

Is it really my place though?

Rosé's a grown woman, but if the roles were reversed she'd probably hit me upside the head.

"Holy shit," Jennie exclaims and I'm guessing she just saw what I'm staring at.

"Yeah, that was my reaction," I say and then I feel her hands rubbing my shoulders. "What should I do?"

"You know Rosé better than me," Jennie replies.

That wasn't very helpful but I'm relieved she doesn't think I'm being jealous.

Small misunderstandings have a way of turning into big blowups.

Instead of going up to Rosé when she's, uhm, busy, I send her a text to let her know that Jennie and I have gone back to the VIP section. I get a response a few minutes later saying that she'll be there in a bit.

Jennie can tell that I'm concerned for Rosé and if she agrees with me or not I can't be sure, but she doesn't tell me not to be. She quietly gives me her support and I appreciate that a lot.

Rosé arrives at our table about half an hour later and Jennie makes up an excuse about needing the bathroom so we can be left alone.

"I saw you kissing Irene," I say to Rosé and I hope I'm doing the right thing by talking to her about it.

"Yeah, so?" Rosé replies before she orders yet another drink.

I grab her arm and that forces her to look at me. "What the hell is going on with you?"

"Nothing, mother," Rosé fires back as she yanks her arm out of my hand. "Why don't you just go back to sucking face with Jennie and let me have my fun."

"That's not fair." I'm so confused by everything. "I don't understand..."

Rosé shoots out of her chair. "There's nothing to understand." She grabs her drink from the waiter and then gives me a look like she's daring me to make a comment. "You're killing my buzz, I'm out of here."

I let out a heavy sigh but I don't chase after Rosé.

Maybe she just needs to blow off some steam.

I don't know.

I'm not angry or upset with her, I'm worried.

My night takes another hit when Jennie seems to have disappeared.

I decide after driving myself crazy and not getting a response from the text I sent to go look for her.

I arrive at the bathroom and get a very unpleasant surprise.

Some whore has Jennie cornered and she doesn't seem to be taking no for an answer.

"I have a girlfriend," I hear Jennie tell her as she tries unsuccessfully to push the girl away.

"I saw your press conference," she slurs as I take another step closer. "You implied you were single."

Jennie rolls her eyes and then she sees me.

I have had enough.

Rosé's weirdness has already put me in a foul mood.

And now this skank is trying to put the moves on my girl.

I don't think so.

I grab the girl's shirt and yank her backwards. "I forgave her," I say with gritted teeth. "If you don't want a black eye to go along with your fugly face I suggest you get the fuck out of here."

I guess that did the trick because she scrambles out of my clutches in no time.

"Wow," Jennie exclaims and when I glance at her she's smirking. "That was hot."

"Sorry, I didn't mean to go off like I did," I sigh. My emotions are all over the place. "She just pissed me off."

"I tried to get her to leave me alone," Jennie tells me as we head back to our table. "You know that right?"

"I know," I assure her.

I really do.

I'm not going to take my frustrations out on Jennie by accusing her of something I know she wasn't enjoying.

I don't want to start a fight over nothing.

"I just saw red when she was touching you," I explain. "Nobody touches you but me."

Jennie takes a seat on an empty couch and pulls me on her lap. "You got that right." I tighten my hold around her neck. "And that goes double for me."

I chuckle, as we cuddle. "No problem." I don't feel like dancing anymore and I don't think Jennie does either. "I kind of had a different idea of how this night would go."

"Oh yeah, and what did you think would happen?" Jennie asks me as she slides her fingers into mine.

"I thought we'd dance all night and I'd get you all hot and bothered," I start.

"I'm always hot and bothered when I'm around you," Jennie breathes out as her free hand comes in contact with my bare thigh.

Hmmmm.

I'm not so upset anymore.

"Good to know." I watch as Jennie's hand makes its way higher up my leg. "Then when we got back to my place I was going to put on a show for you to get you to forgive me for earlier and thank you for announcing to the world that I'm the girl of your dreams."

Jennie's fingers tickle the inside of my leg and I have to bite on my bottom lip in order to stop myself from moaning. "Right, I'm so angry with you for that." She so isn't! Her eyes have changed to a much darker shade and her breathing is heaver. "You've been naughty."

Oh my god!

I'm so turned on.

And in public!

Damn!

I have to kiss Jennie though.

Like right now.

I capture her lips in a kiss that is instantly passionate.

Her way of taking my mind off Rosé rocks!

So hard!

Her hand reaches the edge of my underwear and I'm too excited to really care where we are anymore.

I don't get to find out if Jennie was going to go all the way, so to speak, because Irene shows up.

Ugh.

I take it back.

I do hate her and her shitty timing.

"You really need to get Rosé and leave," Irene says and she doesn't even apologize for interrupting.

Rude!

I'm not a happy camper, let me tell you. "What are you talking about?"

"She's had too much to drink and she's acting like an ass," Irene replies

"You didn't seem to care about that when you were kissing her," I snap and my blood is now boiling.

"That has nothing to do with you," Irene replies.

I know it doesn't.

Bitch!

"If you don't want to believe me, fine, but I thought you'd want to know that your friend is out of control," Irene finishes and then she takes off.

Oh man!

Irene is lucky she left because I'm really in the mood to deck someone.

I do take her advice however.

And as much as she's gotten under my skin I'm glad I did.

Jennie and I get to the dance floor right as Rosé is being hauled off some girl.

It looks like she was fighting with her.

"You're out of here," one of the bouncers tells Rosé.

"Fuck you!" Rosé yells at the top of her lungs.

Luckily the manger of the club remembers that Rose arrived with Jennie. He informs us that if we take her home now, he won't physically remove her from the club.

Jennie thanks him and apologizes for Rosé's behavior. I'm in total shock by how right Irene was but I do have the common sense to ask if the limo that picked us up can meet us
