My sweaty and exhausted body falls back against the cool sheets of my bed as a feeling of absolute euphoria washes over me. Needless to say, I'm thoroughly convinced that Jennie finds me sexy.

And how!

She certainly knows how to make a point and then some. I share my feelings with Jennie to alleviate her self doubts, while she uses the 'actions speak louder than words' approach.

It's a mighty fine approach if you ask me!

I don't think I can move right now, I'm spent but very happy.

Jennie crawls her way back up to me and then cuddles up to my side as her head hits the pillow right beside mine. "That was fun," she remarks with a sexy as hell smile.

"Mmmm," I reply as I close my eyes. A nap is definitely needed, especially with our night out only a few hours away.

Not a lot of talking goes on as Jennie and I bask in our afternoon delights.

"Did you have a good time with Hanbin?" I ask after I've sufficiently recovered from the ravishing Jennie so thoughtfully gave me.

"Not as much fun as we just had," she jokes and I only give her a half smile in response, that's how little energy I have.

I fight past through my exhaustion and open my eyes back. "I should hope not," I playfully scowl. Jennie reaches for my hand and when it's by her mouth she presses her lips softly against my palm. "Mmmm."

"You should go to sleep," Jennie whispers as she gently removes some of my unkempt hair from my face. "I'll wake you up with plenty of time to get ready."

"Aren't you tired?" I ask as I sink further into the mattress.

She should be considering she did most of the work.

Jennie wraps the covers around my body and even though I'd much rather snuggle up to her, I am very comfortable. "Not really, I brought my guitar with me so I thought I'd let you nap and I'll work on some material I've been toying around with in the living room."

"You can in stay here," I insist in a tired mumble. I like having Jennie around, plus, I'm a fairly heavy sleeper, sometimes I don't hear my alarm go off in the morning.

I'm not being clingy, I swear, I just think it would be pretty neat to fall asleep to the sound of Jennie's voice.

"But I'll disturb you," Jennie says before she slips out of bed. She puts on shorts and a tank top and I'm too tired to protest, even in my mind.

"You won't," I rebut as I shift positions so I'm lying on my back. "Please."

Jennie shakes her head and then I get a kiss on my forehead. "I can't resist that face," she mutters. "I'll be right back."

I grin in triumph as she walks away.

I love winning.

She returns a few minutes later holding her guitar and a spiral notebook.

Damn, Jennie looks good.

It's not just the clothes she's wearing, or barely wearing as the case may be, it's the expression of calmness on her face. The expression that says, I'm content, I'm not running and I just had mind blowing sex with the girl I love.

It's an expression I will never get tired of seeing.

Jennie sits down beside me, with her guitar in her lap and the notebook opened to a blank page. She's chewing on a pen and honestly, if I wasn't so tired, I'd probably smother her with kisses. That's how cute she's being and she's not even trying.

"I'm not going to get any work done and you're not going to get any sleep if you keep staring at me," Jennie teases without looking in my direction.

"It's not my fault you're hot," I reply in total seriousness.

Jennie turns her head to wink at me. "That's true, it's hard being this sexy." I would usually attempt a quick comeback but how can I argue with logic like that. I'm just about to close my eyes again when Jennie puts the pen she was nibbling on behind her ear and the guitar down. "Something happened when I was with Hanbin."

Uh oh.

I don't like the sound of that and now I'm way more alert.

"What?" I ask as I sit up.

I don't think I can handle any more drama; I've had enough recently to last a lifetime.

I lift the covers up to just over my chest, as I outwardly remain calm.

"It's nothing bad," Jennie remarks when she notices how wide eyed I am. "Well, it's not really that good mind you." I really wish she'd cut to the chase so I can breathe again. "Hanbin told me that we're being evicted at the end of the month."

Oh.

Ok.

I can handle that.

"I guess my former record company doesn't really feel like paying my way anymore," Jennie continues and I can't tell why she's upset. "Makes sense seeing as they won't be making any money off of me."

I still think they're assholes.

Big ones.

"Does that mean you'll have to cut into your savings instead of buying me shiny presents?" I get a smile from Jennie with that question.

"Not to worry, I'll still have plenty of cash for that," she replies with an expected eye roll. "What it means is Hanbin and I have to go hunting for a new place to live."

No.

What?

You know what.

I have no idea what you are referring to.

Don't play dumb with me, you're about to tell Jennie she can move in with you.

I would never!

It's way too soon, you just got together and there are about a million other reasons why you should shut your mouth and just nod your head.

Voice, you have so little faith in me, I'm hurt.

Don't even try to deny what you were going to do.

Ok, ok, the thought did cross my mind but I'll be honest, I actually agree with you on this one.

Good.

"If you can't find a place right away, you're more than welcome to stay here as long as you need," I offer.

Hey!

What did I just say?

I'm only suggesting it temporarily and if you don't mind I'd like to get back to my conversation with Jennie instead of arguing with you.

"You mean that?" Jennie tentatively inquires. "I don't want to inconvenience you and I don't want it to seem like I'm being pushy."

Aw!

Could she get any more adorable?

"I'll make you pay half the rent if that makes you feel better," I joke. I would never do that. "But seriously, how could waking up with you and going to bed with you, be a bad thing?"

"Well, when you put it that way," Jennie smirks.

"Good, it's settled then," I say with authority. "But there are some rules you'll have to follow."

Jennie grins. "And what would those be?"

I lean over for a quick kiss before I explain the rules I've just thought up. "Rule number one, if there's no one else over besides the two of us, you can't wear any clothes."

Pretty awesome rule, right?

"That works for me," Jennie replies and we're both grinning like idiots. "But only if that rule applies to you as well."

I nod my head vigorously. "Absolutely, I wouldn't have it any other way. Rule number two, you break anything, you have to make it up to me with sex." Jennie roars with laughter even though that wasn't a joke. "And lots of it."

"Are there any other rules?" Jennie asks once she's done laughing.

I tap my chin thoughtfully. "Nope that's about it for now." My mind is half functioning or I'm sure I'd think of more. "The rules are subject to change at anytime." I add so I can take advantage of the situation and Jennie later. "What about Hanbin, what will he do?"

I'm not extending my invitation to him.

Sure, he's a nice guy but three's a crowd in my books.

"He told me that Bobby said he could crash at his place," Jennie answers. "Your family sure is generous."

I lie back down after getting another Jennie kiss. "We're fantastic people all around."

I'm really glad Jennie told me about her problem without me having to prompt her or find out from my brother. Just another sign that we're communicating so much better.

Although, to be fair, we were so bad at it before, we could only improve.

And before you freak out on me I do actually agree with the voice in my head. We're not ready for that step but I'm not going to kick Jennie to the curb either.

Getting even more Jennie time because of these circumstances is an added bonus. I will not look this gift horse in the mouth.

"Now that we have everything resolved, I'm going to shut my eyes," I tell Jennie. "Don't forget to wake me."

"I won't," she promises. "Sweet dreams." I hear her fiddling with the strings on her guitar and then she starts to play something. "Rock-a-bye baby, on the tree top..."

I open one eye and that's enough to make Jennie stop. "You couldn't pick a better song?"

Jennie blows a kiss in my direction before returning to her music.

I don't fall asleep right away, and not because she isn't singing to me. I enjoy watching her do something she loves. It makes me happy that she has something she's so passionate about.

Besides me of course.

I eventually drift off to get some much needed rest listening to the first chords of an unknown song I can't wait to hear when it's finished.

I have a dilemma on my hands.

A big one.

I'm standing in my closet wearing a short skirt that I know Jennie will love and a bra, but I can't find anything to wear on top.

I want to make sure to blow Jennie's mind when she sees me.

I have no idea what she's wearing but that's only because I'm so immersed in my decision making, I haven't turned around to sneak a peek.

"Pick something that shows off your back," Jennie husks in my ear from behind.

Now that's a request I can fill.

I turn around all prepared to snag a kiss or twenty from Jennie but my plans get forgotten when I see what she's wearing.

Her shirt is tight, revealing and has a lovely black and white stripped pattern on it.

That's not what caught my eye though.

It's her pants that did.

Her leather pants.

Her black leather pants.

Her tight black leather pants.

Good god, she can really pull those off.

Speaking of pulling off...

Ah!

If I finish that thought, we won't be leaving my place any time soon.

I'm never one to complain about how much naked Jennie I've seen over these last number of days but seeing her outfit gives me a brand new appreciation for clothes. Sometimes, not seeing everything can be just as sexy or sexier than seeing it all.

Wow!

I am so going to be the envy of every gay woman and straight guy when I walk into the club with Jennie on my arm.

Jennie puts her hands on her hips and she's definitely enjoying my reaction. "You're going to catch flies if you leave your mouth hanging open for much longer."

I don't say anything in response.

I'm speechless.

My girlfriend is sooooo fine!

Jennie chuckles as I openly gawk at her. She picks out a shirt for me to wear and then she drags me to the bathroom so we can put the finishing touches on our make up.

And I can't keep my eyes off of her.

Not that I'm really trying.

Tonight is going to be awesome!

The cab I called for pulls up to the curb and once Jennie and I are safely in, I tell the driver where we're going. It's a fairly new club called Ego and even though I've completely enjoyed having Jennie to myself, I'm looking forward to seeing Rosé and having a great time.

Jennie places her hand over mine as I place my head on her shoulder. "Exactly how many drinks are you planning to consume tonight?" she asks and I catch a glimpse of the driver watching us through the rearview mirror.

I thread our fingers together. "What's it to yah?"

"I just want to know if I'll be taking care of you later," Jennie teases.

"Oh that you will be doing." The sexual nature of my comment is not lost on anyone in the cab. "You did such a good job taking care of me that first night, I know I'm in good hands." Wow, even I'm surprised by how bad that sounds. "Besides, I did give you a lap dance for your trouble, so all things considered you got a pretty sweet deal."

Jennie whips her head in my direction and my own head falls off her shoulder. "I thought you didn't remember what happened that night?"

Oops.

Busted!

I totally forgot that was a secret.

"I love you," I say with a head tilt.

Oh, head tilt, it's been a while since I've used you.

Jennie is about to respond when my phone rings.

Whew!

Saved by the bell.

"Hello," I answer as I keep smiling at Jennie so she'll be too enamored with me to get mad.

"Howdy, Jisoo," Rosé replies and I'm getting the evil eye from my fellow passenger in the car. "I just wanted to check that you and Jennie were able to come up for air."

"Very funny," I deadpan. "We're actually in a cab right now and should be arriving at the club in about fifteen minutes." I mouth "I love you," to Jennie and I can tell she doesn't want to smile, but she does.

She mouths, "I love you too," back to me and just when I think I'm off the hook, she adds, "You're in trouble."

Damn.

Oh well, I'm sure I'll come up with a way to get Jennie to forgive me.

Pun totally intended.

Ha!

"Actually, I need you to get dropped off a few blocks from the club," Rosé tells me without explaining why.

"Any particular reason?" I ask and once again I catch the driver's eyes on us through the mirror.

What the hell, buddy!

I know Jennie and me are hot but there is such a thing as tact.

Sheesh!

"I'll explain everything when I see you," Rosé replies.

I groan but once I'm done talking to her I give the creepy cabbie the new address.

"Are we going to a different club?" Jennie inquires as we cuddle close together in the back of the cab.

"I really don't know what's going on." We stop at a red light and when Mr. Fuckhead glances in the mirror for the umpteenth time, I lose my cool completely. "What the hell is your problem, asshole?" Did I mention that I sometimes let my mouth run away from me? Yeah, you probably got that already, but I don't care, he's ticking me off. "Yes, we're gay and if you continue to act like a jerk, I'm going to report you."

"Jisoo!" Jennie exclaims in shock. "What are you doing?" she whispers in my ear as I keep my eyes up front.

"I'm sorry," the man says quickly.

You should be!

Ass!

He turns around but he isn't looking at me. "Are you Jennie Kim?"

Huh?

Jennie squeezes my hand and I wish I could tell her that everything will be ok but I don't really know if that's true. "Yeah," she answers and I almost yank us out the car but then we start moving again.

Oh no!

We're being kidnapped!

"I thought so," he says. "I recognize you from your press conference."

Ok.

I'm an idiot.

I really should stop letting my mind get worked up over nothing

"What you did was great," he continues as Jennie and I exchange a surprised look.

Aw!

He's a nice guy.

And I'm going to make sure he gets an extra big tip.

"My sixteen year old niece is gay and she won't stop going on about how you're her new hero." Aw again! How awesome! "She's going to freak out when I tell her you were in my cab."

Jennie seems completely taken aback by what she just heard.

Understandable.

In her mind she only did what felt right, she wasn't trying to make statement.

She did though.

A big one.

I also think getting recognized is throwing Jennie for a loop.

I take out a pen and a piece of paper from my purse. "If you tell Jennie her name, I'm sure she wouldn't mind signing an autograph for her." I shove the paper and pen in Jennie's hand and that move breaks the daze she's in.

"I wouldn't mind at all," Jennie tells the guy and she's finally starting to smile.

"Her name is Jordan," he says with a lot of excitement in his voice. "She's going to think I'm her cool uncle now."

Jennie signs the paper and then she passes it over to the cab driver.

"Congratulations on your first autograph, Ms. Jennie Kim," I whisper in Jennie's ear. The bashful yet amazed smile I receive from her makes me giddy.

"Thank you so much," he gushes excitedly. "She wants to be a musician and she told me the other day that now she doesn't have to worry about being herself because of you."

"Wow," Jennie quietly exclaims and I'm beaming with pride.

Whether Jennie realizes it yet or not, the way she stood up to those jerks is something that simply isn't done by unestablished artists.

Especially gay ones.

Forget Bobby, Jennie's a true gay superhero.

Ok, ok, I could be counting my chickens before they hatch but I really don't think I am.

Something tells me that the road for gay artists just got a bit easier.

When I get to work on Monday I have to remember to register the domain name before someone else does.

"Here you go," the cab driver announces as he stops the car. "Good luck with everything and thanks again."

"Not a problem," Jennie replies before she gets out.

I pay him and when I exit the cab Jennie immediately pulls me into a tight embrace.

This night is already shaping up to be better than expected.

I'm about to kiss my soon to be rock star girlfriend when a stretch limo pulls up beside us. The window rolls down and out pops Rosé's head. "Hey, ladies, looking for a ride?"

Jennie looks over at me but I'm just as clueless as she is.

"Get inside, and I'll explain everything," Rosé says, so we do.

I trust her.

For the most part.

No, no, just kidding, I do trust Rosé.

"Before you get mad just hear me out," Rosé starts once Jennie and I are seated across from her.

Uhm.

Ok.

I'll show her some patience.

"I told your dad about our plans." Rosé turns to me and I'm still lost. "He thought it would be a good opportunity for Jennie to make her first truly public appearance since the press conference."

"And exactly what do you mean by that?" I ask with a lot of trepidation.

I don't want Jennie to feel used.

"I might have tipped off a few paparazzi but that's about it. It should be a pretty low key kind of thing." Rosé turns her attention to Jennie. "If you're uncomfortable let me know but I think this could be a very good thing for you."

"What do you think Jisoo?" Jennie asks me and I love that she's asking for my opinion.

That means she trusts me.

And I won't lead her astray.

"I think you should do whatever you feel comfortable with," I tell her. "But my dad has great business instincts so I don't think you have anything to worry about."

Jennie seems nervous and I understand her reaction completely.

It's an odd sensation to go from nobody knowing who you are to everyone knowing your name and face.

I've seen many people handle fame poorly because they get so caught up in the hype.

I will not let that happen to Jennie though, I'm going to help her stay grounded.

"Ok," Jennie says to Rosé. "Count me in."

"Awesome," Rosé exclaims. "We're going to have such a blast because I also scored the three of us entrance to the VIP section."

Nice.

Nothing like having a night out in style.

Rosé opens up her purse to check her make up one more time. "All I had to do was drop Jennie's name and they jumped at the chance to have her at their club."

"My name," Jennie repeats in disbelief.

"You're on the way, Jen," I say to her as I hold her face close to mine.
