As I sat in front of my laptop preparing Luke's lessons. I remembered my college days. While others were enjoying their youth. I was studying to achieve my dreams.

I never enjoyed studying, but to get a bright future I had to work hard. I must admit, I was thrilled on the day of my graduation.

My parents have never approved of this career. Because they never had the chance to have a career in medicine or engineering, they wanted their daughter to follow in their footsteps. I was repeatedly pressured to leave my ideal career and follow their instructions.

I looked up the time. It was already late, I should have gone to sleep.

I woke up the next day, the sun was shining brightly as usual. I headed downstairs to have breakfast. Like always, my father was nowhere to be found, my mother in the kitchen, so I ate by myself while staring at the clock to make sure I'm not late.

A few hours later, I arrived just on time Ms.Harper was about to leave so I greeted her and headed inside. After two weeks of working here, I became familiar with every room in the house, and even Luke has begun to like me.

Everything was perfect, I got to keep this job after Ms.Harper agreed on one of my conditions and that is no men are allowed here . It wasn't my condition to begin with; rather, it was my parents'. This was only one of the many reasons why they refused this job.

Luke went to his room when our classes ended, and I was preparing to leave when the front door swung open.

I said, spinning around to face the front door, "You came back early Today, Ms. Harper.”

As soon as I saw who was opening the door. I remembered my parents' condition. WHO IN THE WORLD IS HE? I took a moment to look at him; he reminded me so much of Sofia—in fact, he was a male version of her. He went upstairs without saying a word. I simply grabbed my stuff and left.

While walking down the streets to find a cab, I couldn't help but remember the look on his face, it was the same frown Luke had on his face when we first had met.

Lucky me, I found a cab and as soon as I got inside, my phone started ringing, it was Sofia. She was the first one to talk. " Hi. You weren't there when I arrived home. I wanted to chat over some cakes I bought. They looked delicious." She stated. "Yes, I left immediately after classes ended." I answered, trying to forget what had actually happened. She didn't say much more after that we just said goodbye to each other and ended the call.

I got home and headed straight to my room with only one thought. What am I supposed to do next?
