" I'll be here stargazing, looking up for love."

-Jeremy Lockhart
=============
SKYLAR⚓️

He stares at me in shock, not believing my words.

"I'm joking, Jeremy!" I slapped his arm, laughing. How could he be that gullible! Looking back into his eyes, I watched the happiness drain from his ocean eyes, my breath hitched.

Did he think that I wanted to be his girlfriend?

"Jerem-" I tried to break the awkward silence that enveloped the car.

"Good joke, Sky. How gullible could I be to think that you want to be my girlfriend? It's so...silly." A weak smile spread across his cheeks, but it wasn't the smile of happiness where his dimples appeared. He was covering his hurt, I could see his internal struggle through his eyes.

I was at the loss of words. What was I suppose to say now? I broke his heart, I knew it and I know how bad it feels.

"So have you ever been to Miami?" His eyes held interest, but I know he was just doing this to distract both of us from this topic.

"Hard to believe, but I've never been there." I shook my head with a chuckle, as he gave me a playful smile.
The abrupt stop of the car throws me out from admiring his features..

"Then welcome to Miami Beach!" Jeremy announced before putting on his shades and pulling his tshirt off his head. He stepped out of the car, taking in the smell of the sea. Wearing my bikini under my tshirt, I pulled it over my head and looked out to the crowds of people enjoying themselves under the blazing sun.

"What now?" I slammed the car door close, walking over to Jeremy. I hope he didn't notice how hard it was for me to look away from his abs that were screaming out for me to run my fingertips over.

The vibration from Jeremy's phone gained the attention of both of us.

"You spoke too soon." Jeremy muttered before sliding open the message.

He read the message out, " Both of you didn't watch your back, you missed the first chance to find out who I was.
3W! . " Jeremy frowned and my jaw dropped.

"Was that clue 4 ?" I shook my head in confusion.

Tapping his chin, Jeremy looked around while mumbling "We didn't watch our back...we didn't watch
out—I GOT IT!" He yelled out in realization.

"What?!"

"We didn't watch our backs...get it? We didn't watch our backs and the back of the car too!!" He ran and opened the back compartment of the car. How did he even think of that?

Pushing the back compartment of the car upwards, Jeremy pulled out a familiar white envelope with 3W! bolded onto it.

"How could we have not heard him?" Jeremy clenched his jaw upon hearing my words.

"He most likely came when we were sleeping, we were distracted." He ran his fingers through his hair in frustration.

Ripping the envelope open, we came across an address — 44th street, Goldfish Paradise.

"It's a shop." Jeremy said.

"Shop?"

"Yup, a goldfish shop. There's one back in Florida too. I remembered getting my first pet Goldfish from that shop." He got into the car with me following after.

Pressing hard on the accerlator, I could feel Jeremy's irritation radiating off him. The speed that he was driving at made me grip my seat tightly, recalling the dreadful memories of that night.

Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath. Instead of feeling better, my memories became more vivid by each passing second.

"SKYLAR SLOW DOWN!" Jonah screamed as he gripped my arm.

"WASN'T I GOOD ENOUGH JO?! WHAT HAVE I EVER DONE!??" I pressed harder on the accerlator, transferring all my anger onto it.

"It's not you Tori, it's me. If only you knew why—" he whimpered with regret.

"THEN MAKE ME UNDERSTAND FOR GOD'S SAKE!!" My knuckles were turning ghost white from the pressure I was applying onto the stirring wheel.

"I CAN'T! SKYLAR SLOW DOWN, WE'RE GONNA—" he yelled but all his words were muted cause all I saw was pitch black...

I didn't know that I was so deep into that night's memory, that I was screaming at Jeremy already.

"SLOW DOWN JEREMY! JUS-JUST PLEASE SLOW DOWN!!" My eyes burned with fury as I looked at Jeremy's shocked eyes. Every time I looked at him, I saw flashes of Jonah's face instead.

I needed to snap out of this.

"Okay okay, I'm slowing down..." he placed his hand on mine, finding a way to calm me down but instead, I snatched my hand away.

"Just stop the car now!" I said in a frustrated hard voice. I needed to get out, the atmosphere in the car was becoming too overwhelming for me.

"What but we–" he stuttered, before I interrupted.

"STOP THE CAR!" I raised my voice, feeling as if my oxygen was cut.

I was getting my panic attacks again. It scared me as well, especially since the last time I got it was a year ago.

"Fine, fine." He said quickly in defeat. The moment the car came to a halt, I shoved the door open, breathing in the fresh Miami air.

Folding my arms across my chest, I looked away from Jeremy's stare that was burning holes into my back.

"What happened in there Sky?" He questioned, walking quickly towards me.

"N-nothing." I mumbled, stepping away from him.

He placed his hands on his hips, and snickered. "Seriously Sky? After what just happened, you're gonna say that that was nothing?!" He tone became harsh, I knew this time I couldn't escape.

He came closer, "I know I said I wouldn't barge into your past, but this time, I'm not gonna back out." His voice held determination.
Finally I turned around.

"If I tell you...you would have to tell me where you go every Saturday. We'll both have to open up every...single ...secret, are you willing to risk that? " I challenged, taking a intimidating step closer. He tried to hold that glare, but looked away.

"You know what Sky? I give up...On you, on trying so hard to be perfect for you, on trying to open you up to make you realize that you're not alone.
But I finally understand...that my efforts are just gonna end up like someone who is waiting for it to rain in the dessert— useless and disappointing. Maybe I'll just finally follow what you tell me to do—I won't care about you anymore." He raised his hands in defeat as he got into the car and slammed the door shut.

My mouth hung wide open, regretting my words almost immediately. How could I be so selfish two times in a day?

"Are you going to get in or what?" He asked passively, the familiar vibe he gave me the first time we spoke hit me.

Feeling infuriated would be a understatement. I felt more than angry, but I wasn't sure whether I was angry at myself or Jeremy. The drive to the shop was extremely quiet, with 'The A Team' by Ed Sheeran playing through the radio.

He got out of the car without a word, and walked ahead into the shop without waiting for me. I hated these feelings of regret and guilt he could make me feel.

The Goldfish Paradise Shop was painted in vibrant colours, it's shelves were filled with different aquariums and a range of fishes.

"Anyone here? Hello?" Jeremy called out. I, on the other hand, inspected the interior of the shop more in detail. Near the counter, were pictures, family
pictures I suppose.

Holding the picture frame in my hands, I couldn't believe my eyes.

"Err...Jeremy? You might wanna see this." I called out, still having my eyes on the picture.

"Skylar, don't. Turn. Around. " Jeremy said sternly, but out of instinct, I whipped around.

"Surprise kitten, I guess we meet again." His venomous voice spoke.

"Wait you know Razor?" Jeremy looked between Razor and I in confusion, while having a gun pressed against his forehead.

Ignoring his question, I looked back at Razor. "You and Dante are related?"

"Yes, is it such a big deal?" He spoke though his Russian accent.

"Of course it is! Then why did it seem like he was afraid of you when you caught us shooting Nerf at you?"

"Haven't you heard of faking it, darling?" He looked at me with amusement.

Gripping the photo frame in anger, I couldn't believe how easily I could be fooled.

"So you are 3W! ? You've been sending us these anonymous notes, in order to lead us to a trap?" I wasn't scared by the fact that the pistol was aimed right at Jeremy's forehead, especially after seeing his failed attempts of using a gun.

"What kind of bullshit are you talking about? I'm a wrestler, not some person who writes love notes or those shit!" He looked disgustedly at me, as if I was insane.

"All I want is blondie, over here, to be dead. Cause I finally know who he is, you're the—" a feminine voice interrupted Razor.

"postav'te etot pistolet! Chto, chert voz'mi, ty delayesh' Dicklin?! (Put the pistol away! What the hell are you doing Dicklin?!) " Upon hearing the old frail woman's words, Razor removed the gun from Jeremy forehead.

"Mama..." Razor looked down in regret.

"RUN SKYLAR!" Using that opportunity, we sprinted out into the car and sped away.

Panting, we both took a while to catch our breaths. I couldn't quite comprehend how fast things escalated back at the shop, from finding out that Razor and Dante were related to running out of the shop.

"It all makes sense." Jeremy said between breaths.

"What makes sense?"

"Remember I told you that I bought my first pet fish from that shop? Well, I bought it with Dante, he actually paid for it since I didn't couldn't afford it. "

"So you think that 3W! wanted us to find out that Dante and Razor were related?" I suggested.

"No, that was just a coincidence. He wants to hint to us that this whole kidnap had something to do with Dante, I think." Jeremy looked back at me before averting his eyes back onto the road.

Jeremy's phone rang for the fifteenth time, and I was starting to get annoyed. "Why don't you pick it up?"

"It's Kai, he's probably calling to beg me to buy his favorite peanut-butter waffles from Miami. I have to admit, they sell one of the best waffles just around the corner." He licked his lips.

"Oh come on, just pick it up!" I pulled the phone out of his hand before pressing the 'answer' button and turning it onto loudspeaker.

"FINALLY YOU ANSWERED! Seriously, what's a phone for if you mute it?"  Kai yelled.

"I only mute it when you call, Kai and you better not be calling for those peanut-"

"No, this is serious JJ " Gabriel spoke this time.

"You wouldn't want to know this but the news is spreading like wildfire through the neighbourhood." I could imagine Kai shaking his head in disbelief.

"Just tell us," I spoke up.

"...Dante is missing."
