Leo had been searching for two days and was onto his second night looking for you. He had been following a trail of Karai's scales around the city, finally narrowing it down to an old amusement park, which had been shut down a couple of years ago.
Leo entered through the Mirror House, wincing when he saw himself extra fat, or super short.
"Y/n? Y/n are you there?" He whisper called throughout the whole house, looking in the dark spots in case you were tied up.
He moved through the typical Carnival games, passing by the Clown station rather quickly. Leo looked through the Sack Slides, the Insane Twister, a weird looking ship that swung you almost upside down. Nothing. He couldn't find you, or any trace of you that might've been left behind.
Leo let out a frustrated yell, taking his katanas and slashing them across the nearest wall. It left a somewhat satisfying mark, which was answered by a familiar metallic noise.
"Karai!" Leo snarled, turning and blocking her attack. She was in human form, a vicious smile on her face.
"Looking for your girlfriend?" She taunted him, swiping above his head. Leo dodged it, countering back with a slash at her ankles, which she nimbly jumped over.
"Where is she?!" Leo asked furiously, his blades slowly becoming a storm of fury. Karai knitted her brows together, having to pick up her pace to defend herself.
"You know...now that you mentioned it, I might've seen a girl around here." She said, hopping behind a game counter to give herself a second of rest, before Leo came after her again.
"Karai, I will kill you if you don't tell me where she is." Leo threatened, his eyes shielding white for a nanosecond. Karai seemed to realize that Leo meant what he said, because she jumped on top of a tent top.
"You choose Leo," she said, pointing to the roller coaster. A cart was perched precariously on the top.
"Fight me, or save her." Karai said-and then she ran. Leo ground his teeth together in frustration; he wanted to fight her, but he had been looking for y/n because she was more important.
Leo dashed over to the coaster, climbing the supports quickly, using his ninja speed and strength.

"Y/N!" He hollered, finally reaching the track.
"Weo!" He heard a muffled shout from the cart, and looked inside to see a curled up y/n, tape across her mouth, and hand loosely bound behind her.
"Y/n!" Leo said in relief, hopping in and helping her sit up. He carefully peeled the tape off, not realizing that the cart had started moving.
"Leo, the cart is rigged! It'll take us right over broken tracks!" You cried, as soon as it was off all the way. Leo looked forward, and sure enough, the tracks were split.
"We're going to have to jump." Leo said, standing up carefully.
"JUMP?!" You screamed, latching onto his leg. He picked you up, and made him look you in the eye.
"Do you trust me?" He asked.
"...y-" You hesitated.
"Do you trust me?" He asked again, holding a hand out to you.
"Yes." You said firmly, grabbing it. He swung you up into his arms, and stood on the seat.
"Then we're going to jump!" He yelled, jumping on the last word.
You landed safely on a tent top, in Leo's arms, your head buried in his shell. Finally, you worked up enough courage to look up.
"We're alive!" You said in relief, getting down.
"I missed your voice." Leo said, pulling you into a bone-crushing hug. Suddenly, you groaned.
"My parents are going to kill me!!"
