Okay. Another year, another set of goals.

I'm not going to say that I hope to achieve these goals this year cause that has doubt and leeway for failure in it. Instead, I'll say that I am going to achieve each and every one of these goals.

1 - FINISH WRITING Delicate

I'm about 3/4 and more through the plot of Delicate so I really do think I can achieve this goal before the year is done.

Strategy:

- update at least once every three weeks

-  reread chapters to keep the plot fresh in mind so that I do not derail the book

- give chapters some room to breathe before uploading (I usually upload a chapter the second I finish writing it and I think waiting even a day to edit it better and make sure all I want in that chapter is actually happening would help)

- continue to keep up with the comment section (a lot of times, things you guys say have a big impact on my writing, that's why I love comments so much. Some things said in passing help expand the view I had on my own characters and books and that can be really helpful)

2 - FINISH WRITING AT LEAST 3/4 OF Master

I'd say I'm now approaching Master's halfway line and so I'm going to set a realistic goal of getting near to the end. If I do complete the book by the end of the year, that would be great, but I think aiming for 3 quarters of it is achievable.

Strategy:

- update at least once every three weeks

- reread chapters to keep the plot fresh in mind so that I do not derail the book (I went back to edit the earlier chapters of Master I think 2 or 3 times and that really helped me shape what was to come for the future of the book)

- give chapters some room to breathe before uploading

- continue to keep up with the comment section

3 - START Control

If I finish Delicate, which I think I will, the next book on the roaster is Control. A book you guys have been waiting for for a really long time and have begging for consistently. I think this year you'll finally get it.

There's no strategy for starting the book cause that's easy enough, but I am putting one to help develop the book the way I want to.

Strategy:

- Write at least 6 new Chapters of Linked (you guys know I'm working on Linked in the background on Patreon when I feel like it, and I'm hoping that by further developing the story of Kat and Apollos, that will help me portray Nikola's character better when it comes)

4 - REACH 450 PATRONS ON PATREON

At the moment, my Patreon has roughly 360 members, which is still mindblowing to me. I hope to reach 800 one day which is the number I've set myself before I start publishing my books. But to get there aiming for 450 this year would help us get there a little faster.

Of course, the amount of Patrons I have is not up to me, but I think I can help the case by making my Patreon as best as I can. I recently did a feedback page on there to see what suggestions and comments those of you who are subscribed had, which I will be taking into consideration as I go forward.

Strategy:

- Include more polls and interactive posts

(I already have quite a few which I sometimes allocate for Gold only or for all subscribed, but I haven't really made that known on my Wattpad which I guess I should so people know they can have more of a say in things related to my books, whenever it happens on Patreon)

- Aim to upload the 3 extras in good time

(I've never missed a month for uploading in the promised time, something I'm very proud of. But very often I find myself leaving one to the last second which makes putting up the poll for the next month late - like this month - YIKES. But I'm going to try my best going forward to upload sooner if I can to avoid that messy business)

- Advertise my Patreon a little more

(So far, I've tried to be quiet about it because I didn't want anyone to feel bad about not being able to subscribe if they couldn't. I still feel that way, but I think it would help me if I talked a bit more about what's available from time to time instead of only mentioning the Patreon when a new update is up)

5 - Do more DOUBLE AND TRIPLE UPDATES

This year, I'm going to downsize from the bigger uploads because I already write long chapters and when I try to do 4 or more of those long chapters, I end up overwhelming myself.

So I'm taking that pressure away. If I do achieve it across my different platforms and books, then great, but if not, I don't want to stress myself out.

Strategy:

- Keep a better eye on current update pace

(at the moment, I update when I feel like and I kind of skim through my books until I want to write again, I'm not changing that. I'll just make a note of the date I updated last so that I don't let too much time pass thinking its shorter than it has been. For me, I feel like I update Delicate like 2 weeks ago, but it's coming onto a month now which is much longer than I realised)

- Don't aim to write an entire chapter in a single sitting

(I've got a habit of trying to finish a whole chapter in one go, which when it does happen is awesome. But I think I'd benefit from writing scene by scene and then recapping it as a whole for a day or two before I upload it. That may end up pumping out updates faster and with less stress for me)

- Award equal attention to both my current books

(Last year, I gave Delicate the majority of my attention because I love it so much and the feedback was much stronger there than it was for Master. This year, I'm going to give them equal attention so that neither gets lost in the background nor receives less of my attention. I'll carry that same thing over when I start Control)

6 - Make every reader cry

At this point, it's a given, right? Loool.

Man the tears I'm bout to drag out of you hoes in Control hahahahahaha, you ain't ready!!!!

--------------------

Okay, that's it. That's all my goals for this year.

I'm hoping that I'll be able to update something once every 2 weeks, that should keep the cycle going. But if I don't, don't tell me I missed the date I promised. That's a personal goal for me, not one to bother me about in my messages.

I'd like to thank you all for sticking with me through the years, months and weeks. I love all my humans so very much and I can not wait to see where my books take us this year.

Love you all, Tippy!!
