☆☆EPILOGUE: Tiny Problem Solved☆☆

Jungkook never thought that it would be easier now that he knew that Park Minwoo a.k.a. an actual Jeon and a future heir of his own, is indeed his son.

Jimin told him everything that happened; the where, the when, the how, and even the why 'they' happened in the past in the first place. It was a completely quiet night in that living room of Jimin's place when they talked about it and he still couldn't believe it. He felt elated, like it was all too much but not enough at the same time.

There was suddenly the sudden urge to ask more questions about Minwoo, his son, their son and he felt overwhelmed. He wanted to know what happened throughout the years when he wasn't there with them. When he was busy messing up his life even more, there goes Jimin raising and taking care of their child alone without anyone's support beside Hoseok. He felt a lot of things but guilt is something that stands out the most.

He began crying in Jimin's embrace that night continuously saying his sorry's that he wasn't there when Jimin and Minwoo needed him the most. All this time he was the one who might've ruined Jimin's life and Minwoo's childhood. He was the one who unknowingly fucked up. He was the one who should be blamed for everything, why Jimin got kicked out by his parents, why Jimin moved to Busan without any plan at all, and why Jimin was dealing with all of his issues all alone. He was never there for Jimin and no matter what he does, he couldn't possibly turn back those days, those years, that he could've been there.

"It's not your fault, Jungkook. . . You never knew and neither did I at first. I was at fault too for not trying to seek for you and for trying to hide it all and not tell you the truth even though I found out in the end." Jimin still took all the blame to himself, not even putting Jungkook on edge. Jungkook wanted to tell him to stop doing that. To stop being so kind and selfless because he didn't deserve any of those from Jimin.

He still tried to argue in between his sobs but it didn't change the fact that Jimin remained stubborn, completely shutting him off every time he would try to blame himself.

They talked the whole night, sharing things they never had the chance to talk about and it was as if they were old friends trying to catch up after reuniting once again. The only difference is that they realized that they never really thought of each other as just mere 'friends'. They've always been something more. Anything but platonic. Something deeper and attached.

"I didn't really notice about how I feel about you until um. . . until Jennie appeared in the scene. And I just, I don't know. . ." Jimin shrugged, his body leaning against Jungkook's chest on the couch as he sat on Jungkook's lap.

"I never liked seeing her around you and I know that's immature of me," Jimin admitted, digging his forehead on Jungkook's neck in embarrassment.

Jungkook chuckled, finding Jimin's behavior cute. It wasn't immature for him. Because he thinks that it's actually adorable of Jimin to feel that way. And more than anything, he feels like that just shows how Jimin cares for him, makes him feel assured that it's not a one-sided tragic love story anymore. Because with Jimin on his embrace with their heartbeats on sync, it felt like his feelings were finally reciprocated.

"So we're basically just chicken dancing on each other all along without even noticing it," Jungkook joked, making Jimin chuckle and look at him with amusement, Jimin's hands attached on his shoulders as they smiled on each other.

"What is even that, Jungkook?" Jimin asked with another chuckle, never heard of anything of that sort before.

"Roosters do that to court their potential mates, and then they chicken dance," Jungkook informed with a shrug, remembering the first time when he first heard something that absurd but true nonetheless.

"Where did you learn that from?" Jimin asked once again after laughing, not knowing that was really a thing. But then Jungkook's expression faltered as if it was a bitter memory.

"Junhoe told me that when we were um, when we were playing some silly chicken fight in 6th grade." Jungkook remembered how ridiculous they must've looked back in that playground where he used to play with Junhoe. They still went there sometimes to hang out, bored out of their lives.

He remembered his best friend who obviously was still in the hospital after he beat him up real good. And the more he thinks about it, the more he could understand where Junhoe was coming from.

They've known each other ever since 5th grade and Junhoe was his very first friend, someone he could trust and someone who would always try to comfort him by stating stupid and annoying jokes just to make him smile and relax every time he would be so sick with his father's neverending downgrading. Junhoe was never the ideal type of friend, not a good influence on him either but Junhoe was loyal. That he could give him. Junhoe was like no other. He's an asshole, a douchebag, a jerk, and everybody knows that already. But there's something about Junhoe that only Jungkook knows. And it was the fact that Junhoe is his true friend, someone he could always lean on no matter what the situation was and no matter how fucked up it was.

Junhoe would never ditch him, not on anything. And the more he thought about his best friend, the more he understood that Junhoe was just trying to protect him. That Junhoe just did what he thought would be right for him. Only this time, Junhoe made the wrong choice but he couldn't blame his friend. He never even told him anything about what he feels towards Jimin or what was happening in his life in the span of those months of his stay in Busan. It was somehow his fault because he knew that if he let Junhoe understood everything that goes on in his head and how deep he was in this already then maybe Junhoe might've even helped him.

But more than anything, he was afraid of a lot of things. And if there is one thing that he could choose from out of all of those horrible things that he's worried about then it would be his family. Specifically, his father.

It was already a sudden blow to him to find out that he has a kid with Jimin and he could already picture out how his father would react with the news. He couldn't care less anyway. No matter what his father chose to do then he would be okay with it.

If his father finding out about him having an illegitimate child would make him lose his privileges as a Jeon then he would accept it. He would accept getting kicked out of their mansion and getting nothing, not even a position in their company, if that would make him be with Jimin and Minwoo; with his family.

The contrary happened though. Unexpectedly.

And it happened in that one fateful day when he suddenly got a call from his very own father asking him to come to Seoul as soon as he can. And it also came with an additional, "I knew everything now, Jungkook. Come back and we need to talk, son." And he knew that that was the end of his hiding from his father. His father only calls him son when it was really serious.

Of course, he's a Jeon. His father is a Jeon and connections flow like a current and as fast as light. He hated to use the term in this 21st century modernized world but he couldn't find any more suitable word to describe what his father used to know what he was up to. A detective, that's for sure.

It didn't help that he was actually supposed to be in Seoul already a week ago so his delay must've made his father alarmed. He doubts that it was out of worry because no, anything but that.

So there they were, standing in the mansion of his very own Jeon family's after three days of the said call. Oh, and also with Park Jimin (since he failed to hide it from Jimin because of guilt so he ended up telling him that they sort of needed to go back to Seoul) and also with Park Minwoo who clung behind his left leg and was holding Jimin's right hand.

Like the very first statement, Jungkook never thought that it would be easier now that he knew that Park Minwoo a.k.a. an actual Jeon and a future heir of his own, is indeed his son.

But.

Yep, there is an actual but.

Because yes, he thought--No! He certainly knew that it wouldn't be easy.

So the least he expected was not this. Not his father walking towards them followed by his mother who was both sternly looking--staring at Minwoo. Not his father crouching down to go on Minwoo's level as if asking for the kid's approval to be touched. And certainly, not his mother doing the same with a fond look on her eyes whilst also glancing up at Jimin.

"Is this the kid?" His mother asked tenderly and it was directed at Jimin who was nervously blinking his eyes and just standing there like a train wreck waiting to happen.

"Y-Yes, Ma'am." He heard Jimin replying with a tremble in his voice and he so badly wanted to hold Jimin's hand if only his parents were not practically crouching down in front of them.

"He looks so adorable," His mother voiced out softly with that delighted curt smile on her face that he had never seen before, eyes now cast on Minwoo's shy glances. "May I?" She asked Minwoo, hand reaching out to the kid whom he still feels shaking a little behind him.

"It's okay, baby." Jimin urged and he could see Minwoo staring up at his Appa in hesitation. After a few seconds and he could already feel Minwoo withdrawing his grip from his jeans. His son bravely stepped out and faced his parents.

"Annyeonghaseyo, Halmeoni." He hears Minwoo's soft and quiet voice greeting his mother and bowing politely, tiny hands clasped on his little tummy. Then Minwoo turned to his father who still looked stoic, the hardened stares with authority he grew up with no longer evident in the man's eyes and he looked like a different person suddenly.

"Annyeonghaseyo, Harabeoji." Minwoo added, repeating the same action he did with his mother.

And that was the first time he saw the spark of happiness in his parents' eyes. He couldn't believe that things would turn out better than he expected so he just stood there unmoving whilst his mother engulfed Jimin in a tight hug as his father remained talking and easing Minwoo with a smile on his already old and wrinkled face.

Maybe that was also his first time seeing that his parents were indeed showing some signs of aging, youthful appearances and features starting to fade. There might be also a part of him that feels that tinge of self-reflection, wondering where he was all this time that he only noticed now how old his parents were already.

He only woke up from his reverie when he felt a warm embrace enveloping him, warm breaths fanning the side of his neck. At first, he thought it was Jimin but when he got back to his senses and smelled that familiar lavender scent, he recognized that it was his mother. She was hugging him again after almost a year or so. He can't really remember the last time since they were always busy working.

"I'm glad that you're back here again, Jungkook." Her voice was as gentle as always but for him, it still sounded distant. Maybe she didn't mean to sound that way to him but he does feel like that. Maybe it was because her presence in their home, or whatever they call this place, is really rare that he could even count the times that he saw her linger around in their kitchen or in their living room.

"We have a lot to talk about, son." She pulled back and told him with a soothing smile that makes him feel something weird inside him. He felt like choking, a lump forming in his throat after seeing her eyes this close again.

His mother had always been more gentle than his father although she also never tolerated his wrongdoings in the past. But she also never defended him from his father too. Instead, she would silently hug him without any comforting words, just staying there with him until he stops crying when he was young. But that as well was starting to be just a memory because she was never really present anymore.

"Your father was glad that you're back too, Jungkook." She consoled him as if she meant every word she said. He glanced back at his father who was still talking with Minwoo and they met each other's eyes half-way. His father didn't smile at him but only nods at his presence.

Throughout the years of him living with his father's words and lectures, that was the first time that he really felt acknowledged. A simple nod, not even a hug or a word of welcome but it was enough to affect him.

What he didn't realize was that he began crying silently and his mother started reaching out to him again, letting him sob on her shoulders and whispering that everything will be okay.

He didn't hug her back but he continued crying in her embrace, letting his sunken feelings rose up once again and he let himself overflow.

He was no longer drowning.

. . .

After that day, things started working out far better than what they had expected.

At first, they thought that they would be living in the Jeon's mansion and really, they had nothing against it because Jungkook's parents weren't really present most of the time. What they couldn't believe though, was that Mr. and Mrs. Jeon already prepared a home of their own from a few days back before they even arrived.

Mr. Jeon told them that the house was already ready for them and the only thing needed was the pieces of furniture that he even insisted on helping them buy, said that he knew a lot of company who sells the best furniture with expensive carved woods.

Jimin immediately discarded the idea politely, said that they don't really need such extravagance and that he was okay with anything, that the house was already enough. Mr. Jeon only chuckled at what Jimin said, turning to Jungkook with a proud smile and voicing out how he already liked Jimin's personality. In the end, Mr. Jeon still persisted on buying their things like the stubborn man he is, also insisted that he would choose the pieces himself and Jimin could already sense where Jungkook got that stubborn trait from.

And then the day of the move out came.

Jimin thought that it would just be a normal home but the moment they stepped in front of the gates, he almost collapsed since he got weak on his knees. Thank God, Jungkook was there to catch him before he could really fall. Because damn it, he really had no idea that the Jeon's had a thing for fanciness and extravagance!

Saying that the new house where Jungkook claimed they would start living on is huge was an understatement. It was gigantic and it even began sparkling in his eyes.

Mrs. Jeon, on the other hand, showered Jimin and Minwoo with branded clothes, shoes, accessories, and toys the moment they moved to the said house. Every time she came to visit (which became so often that Jungkook worries about how could she possibly get all that time off), she brings Jimin and Minwoo little gifts. Okay, maybe not so little gifts since there's this one time, no, a lot of time where she brings Jimin a huge box of gifts consisting of random things she might've randomly thought of. Not like Jungkook's sulking or anything. In fact, he was glad that his mother visits his son and Jimin. He just worried that Jimin might be a little uncomfortable with everything.

So he actually asked Jimin one time and Jimin admitted that it's not like he didn't like it, because Jimin said that he was grateful for his mother for everything but (of course Jimin would add a but and he knew it already), Jimin also thinks that it was already too much.

Although there were a lot of spaces in the house where they could place all of his mother's gifts that's not what was worrying Jimin according to him. Jimin just admitted that he wasn't used to receiving gifts especially if they're branded and something too lavish.

Although Jungkook wanted to tell Jimin that it was okay and that he should just let himself get spoiled by his mother, the last thing he wanted was to make Jimin feel uncomfortable. So he did what he had to. He actually called his mother that night when Jimin was cooking their dinner with Minwoo and spoke about the issue, explaining straightly that he thinks that Jimin was starting to feel uncomfortable with her gifts. He didn't say that Jimin said that himself, he just made it sound like he was the one who thinks that way instead.

His mother understood, sighing and apologizing to him, even promising that she wouldn't do that again if that makes Jimin uncomfortable. It was no doubt that she adores Jimin as much as she adores Minwoo. Just that obvious fact made him happy.

At least his parents weren't treating Jimin and Minwoo the same as in those things Taehyung and Jin loved watching. He was relieved more than anything. He shouldn't have watched those dramas Taehyung and Jin offered him to. And he shouldn't have also believed those Kim brothers when they told him that he should be ready for some glass of water pouring on Jimin's head or some envelop full of cash the moment they stepped in their mansion. It only made him paranoid thanks to those two idiots.

. . .

Jungkook continued his studies and graduated that same year they moved back to Seoul. It was a hard year for him since it was his final year in university but Jimin made sure to support him every second of the day.

There will be times when he would be so stressed for his upcoming tests and exams and there were just too many projects but Jimin never left his side. Jimin made sure that he still eats, always packed him with nutritious and very wealthy lunches and snacks. No matter how tired he was from university, Jimin never let him pass dinner and will force him to eat even just a little.

Jimin also helped him with some things on his projects, suggesting opinions or commenting on how his reports could be better. With just that, he perceived that Jimin was the smart kind of student before, maybe more than just smart. And he was thankful that Jimin was there to help him out. Because of that too, he wondered if Jimin wanted to continue his studies.

After a lot of contemplation, not wanting to seem like he might be intruding Jimin's decisions, he asked Jimin one day about it and explained that if Jimin would want to continue his studies then he wouldn't mind supporting his expenses and everything he needs.

Jimin seemed too shocked that day when he asked that he even thought he messed up and was already about to apologize and beg Jimin not to leave him. But then Jimin just hugged him tightly, telling him that it was thoughtful and sweet of him to ask.

Jimin's answer was still a no though, explaining to him that maybe he will continue his studies again someday but it wasn't his priority anymore. Minwoo already came first and Jungkook respected Jimin's decision and gave Jimin time to think about it. Instead, Jimin told him about this job that he saw in some local newspapers. It was a job at this cafe in the city and Jimin said that it
