☆☆Tiny Dinner. . . Date?☆☆

Jungkook was rummaging on his suitcase, looking for a proper outfit to wear. He tossed everything on the side that he thinks wouldn't look good. He almost looks like a dog digging the ground and expecting to get some bones under it.

And you might be wondering why he's suddenly being picky in choosing his clothes when he's really just the type to wear what he sees, either washed or not. They're all clothes after all he says, just have different colors. Well, at least that's what he thinks before.

But right now he's having a mental crisis. He doesn't even know what he needs to wear and what he shouldn't!

But in the end, he still chose what he thinks would look casual and comfortable since he doesn't want to overdo it.

It's just dinner after all.

Yep.

Just dinner.

A simple get together to enjoy a simple night.

Right.

It's not like Park Jimin was the one who invited him to that dinner.

Not like he would have to spend the said dinner together in the said house with the said man.

Haha. Because that would be funny.

And pretty awkward.

But. . .

That's exactly what's about to happen.

Well. . .

Because Park Jimin really invited him to have dinner with them in his own home and they would have to spend their night togeth-- Wait that sounded wrong. Okay, so maybe not that kind of 'spend their night together' but who knows right?

"ARGH!!! Why is this so hard to do?! Goddammit, I'm just going with this!" By that, he stormed out of his shared room with the Kim brothers but unfortunately, on his way out, Taehyung and Jin appeared out of nowhere.

(A/N: Leave the bags out please)

"Wow. . . who's funeral are you attending?" Taehyung commented after scanning Jungkook's overall outfit. "Do you really only have those black clothes with you? I told you they look depressing! Ow, ow! My fashionable eyes can't bear to look at this!" Taehyung continued dramatically, even rubbing his temple and covering his eyes.

"As if you're not wearing black yourself, you dick." Jungkook retorted, staring at Taehyung's overall black look. Taehyung seemed to realize that so he cleared his throat and acted cool, questioning himself why he had to wear black today.

"That's not the issue right now." He brushed Jungkook off that easy whilst crossing his arms.

Jin, who was also about to come in their room also scans Jungkook's look and sighs. He doesn't want to agree with Taehyung since he claims that fashion is about expressing yourself but. . . maybe Jungkook deserves to be judged right now, he thinks.

"Where are you going?" Jin asked whilst narrowing his eyes.

Jungkook clears his throat before he looks sideways. "To a dinner." He replied casually and Jin was already judging him by just staring.

"Looking like that?" The oldest of the three questioned and Jungkook was starting to not like the tone that Jin was using.

"What's wrong with this? I think it looks cool," Jungkook shrugged, examining what's wrong with his outfit and sees nothing.

"Well. . ." Jin started, giving Jungkook a look. "To be completely honest with you, you look more like you're there to beg for food and not have dinner or--"

"Someone who could be reported for robbery in the middle of the night." Taehyung finished for his older brother who nodded in agreement. Jungkook gasp and begins to feel defensive.

"What-- What nonsense are you both even blabbering about?! And I'm just there for dinner! It's not like I have to impress anyone so why do I even need to fix my style now?!" Jungkook defended with his eyebrows furrowing since Taehyung and Jin start to get on his nerves.

Taehyung sighs heavily, shaking his head and crossing his arms, casually staring at Jungkook with annoyance clear on his features now.

"Look, we're just trying to help you not appear like a complete and utter embarrassment here, dude. Who even invited you for dinner? We didn't even see you talk to anyone nicely so it's impossible that it's a friend of yours from here." Taehyung asked and that's when Jungkook remembers what he's been so nervous about.

It had been three days ever since Jimin invited him for dinner as thanks for quote, 'helping his son' but he still couldn't take away that tightness on his chest every time he remembers it. He hesitated before answering but said it anyways.

"It's that kid's father. The one from the daycare and, erm. . . the same waiter on the restaurant before." Jungkook mumbles quietly, not knowing why he can't even say it properly.

"WHAT?!!!" Taehyung and Jin spat in unison, their eyes almost falling out of their sockets. They fastly move towards Jungkook with panic in their whole system.

"Yah! Why didn't you say so?!" Jin scolded, shaking Jungkook's arms in the process.

"Why do I have to--"

"What time do you have to be there?" It was Taehyung's turn to ask.

"I don't see why I have to--"

"JUST SAY IT!!!" The two brothers shouted making Jungkook flinch in surprise.

"S-Seven," Jungkook responded and Taehyung looks at their wall clock, cursing a few times before he smacks Jungkook's arm receiving a loud 'Ow!' from the younger. It's already close to 6:30 so they wouldn't have much time but he still needed to risk it or else Jungkook would definitely make a really bad impression.

"Listen here, you big fool. This is a once in a lifetime chance for you so if you don't want your ass to get dumped tonight you better do as we say, you hear me?" Taehyung warned with that serious look on his face that Jungkook had never seen before.

"What are you even talking about now?" Jungkook questioned, clearly baffled about what's happening but Jin only pats his shoulder as if the older was encouraging him.

"Don't worry, Kook. After this night you will finally get your chance to deflower that kid's father." Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed in both confusion and annoyance.

"What does deflower even mean?" He asked but Jin only proceeded on his mini dramatic act.

"Oh gosh, he's acting like he doesn't know. I'm getting emotional here, Taehyungie. . . Our little Kook is going to be a father soon." Jin speaks dramatically, even clinging and putting his forehead on Taehyung's shoulder to cry with his invisible tears. Taehyung only rolled his eyes and smacked his older brother's head earning a glare from Jin.

"Yah! Don't tell him that! He might chicken out, you know?"

And with that, they started dragging Jungkook back to their room to "make Jungkook appear more human" is what Taehyung said.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Jungkook arrived late as he expected. And he wanted to punch those two birdbrains who actually made him change from those previous clothes he chose to wear. They even made him bought some flowers on his way, telling him that it would be impolite to just come in empty-handed.

And so now he was sporting a mustard-colored long sleeve that Jin owned and made him wear. Taehyung also made him borrow some of his white pajama pants and white shoes that luckily fit him well. They also helped in styling his hair so it was no wonder that Taehyung and Jin looked like proud dads after seeing Jungkok walk out of their room compared to the first time they saw the younger leaving.

At least now they were comfortable that Jungkook wouldn't look like a peasant.

Jungkook arrived at the said address, double-checking the directions he noted from Jimin's instructions before he brings his phone back to his pocket.

"It's just dinner, Jungkook. There's nothing to be nervous about." He notes to himself as he breathes in and out, his slightly trembling hands reaching for the doorbell of the apartment. After he hears the ring though, he panics and actually turns to finally walk away but he hears the door open behind him.

"Jungkook-ssi?" It's the end of him he was so sure. Just hearing that familiar voice already causes his heart to tremble.

Calm down, calm down, calm down. He whispers internally, even remembering Taehyung's and Jin's words for him.

'Don't you dare make a fool out of yourself or I swear to God I'm gonna castrate you without anesthesia!' Taehyung reminded him before he walks out.

'Be cool about everything, Kook. Don't show that you're nervous and everything will go well.' The more rational Jin told him with an encouraging smile.

So with his last set of man pride, he gulps and tried to relax before he finally turns and meets the eyes of Park Jimin who was now greeting him with a soft smile.

"I'm sorry, I was a little late." He told with a casual smile that he managed to muster up, also handing Jimin the flowers he bought. Jimin seemed surprised but nonetheless pleased with the flowers that Jungkook gave him.

"It's okay. . . And you shouldn't have bothered with the flowers, you can come empty-handed. I wouldn't mind." Jimin took the flowers and invited Jungkook in, opening the door wider for the younger.

Jungkook was still a bit hesitant about coming in but he still stepped in and was welcomed by the mouthwatering smell of food inside the small but warm apartment. He still couldn't get used to these small spaces like the home where he's currently staying at since he always stays at their mansion and his friends were all rich. It's just normal that they would have big houses too. So seeing himself entering these types of narrow houses still amuses him somehow.

As he was removing his shoes, a tiny voice addressed him.

"It's really Pabo-Ahjussi," He looks in front of him and sees Minwoo, who was now clinging behind his Appa's legs. The little boy looks like he didn't expect he would still come.

Jimin's eyes widened, surprised that Minwoo would just call Jungkook that name directly. So in panic, his eyes immediately darted towards Jungkook with an apologetic look in his eyes.

"I-I'm sorry, he doesn't usually speak like this to other people." Jimin apologized before he crouched down and faced Minwoo to whisper something although Jungkook could still hear some parts of it.

'Minwoo, you can't just call him that, okay? It's not a nice thing to say.'

'B-But Appa, I told you he's that Pabo-Ahjussi.' Jungkook saw how Jimin looked at him with a look of panic as if Jimin doesn't want him to hear that.

He soon cleared his throat earning the attention of the two, wanting to show that it doesn't bother him one bit. Although deep inside, he already wants to put a tape on that kid's mouth to seal it. So he plastered a fake smile to keep his cool.

"It's okay, he's still a kid." Who I will surely would love to put in a sack if only you're not here, Jimin-ssi. He wanted to add but didn't. Then he looks at Minwoo who was still clinging on Jimin with that sickly sweet smile on his lips.

"Maybe he just calls me that because I turned to be his favorite. Right, Minwoo?" He asked with his eyes not leaving Minwoo.

They just stared at each other for a good few seconds before Minwoo finally speaks.

"Not really. There's no way you would be my favorite, Ahjussi." Minwoo replied without any emotion on his face before he marched straight towards the dining table.

Jungkook turned speechless.

He can't believe that a mere three-year-old chimpanzee would just knock him out that easy.

Jimin gulped, seeing the slightly changing expression on Jungkook's face. He chuckled awkwardly before standing up and telling Jungkook that they should start eating their dinner before the food starts to get cold.

Jungkook nods whilst subtly clenching his jaw and hiding his annoyance behind his smile. He followed Jimin to the dining table and sat in front of Minwoo who was now busy pouring water on his own cup ignoring him.

Jimin excused himself, telling them that he would just get their soup in the kitchen. And that was the time when Jungkook finally glared at Minwoo who was still innocently placing his spoon and chopsticks on the right side of his plate.

Jungkook then thought of something. He can't just pathetically pinch this kid's cheeks painfully since Jimin could come any time so he thought that he would just use his age to his advantage.

"Yah kid. Pour my cup some water too." He ordered whilst raising his cup to Minwoo's side of the table, expecting the kid to follow him since he's older.

Minwoo stares at Jungkook's empty cup with that still blank face before the little one looks up at the grinning Jungkook.

"It's right in front of you, Ahjussi. You are given a hand to use it. Please don't start inconveniencing other people just because you feel lazy." And Jungkook almost dropped his cup looking dumbfounded. His mouth hanging wide open.

Did. . .

Did this kid really just. . .

Did he just call me lazy?!!! And me?! Inconveniencing people?!

Jungkook's blood starts boiling but Minwoo remains calm, his innocent eyes just blinking at Jungkook's direction and it is starting to irritate the hell out of Jungkook for sure. And he can't seem to control his temper anymore so as childish as it is, he brought down his empty cup with a thud and reached his hand out planning to pinch Minwoo's cheek until the kid cries when Jimin suddenly appeared out of the kitchen with the bowl of their hot soup.

"Aigoo. . . your son is really adorable, Mr. Park." So Jungkook was left with no choice but to caress Minwoo's cheek instead, plastering another fake smile. He stares at Minwoo with a loving look on his face, brushing his thumb on Minwoo's cheek who looks at him now with an embarrassed look.

Let's just wash our hands real clean for an hour Jungkook, it's okay, it's okay. He reminded himself internally and pinches Minwoo's cheek but obviously not how he planned it before he went back to his seat comfortably.

Jimin sat on his seat as well, which was beside Minwoo, smiling at how nice Jungkook was acting towards his son.

If only he knows though.

"I'm glad you're getting along well with each other." Jimin commented with a satisfied smile, patting Minwoo's hair who smiled back at him.

"Yep, I'm glad too." Jungkook replied to Jimin before his eyes darted back to Minwoo once again who looks like a little puppy wagging its tail because his owner is ruffling his hair and it annoys him!

Look at this lucky little punk acting like a good boy in front of his father when he's actually just an annoying little devil. He mumbles in his head, still hardly staring at the three-year-old.

He doesn't know why but he's getting really irritated that this kid is getting all of Jimin's attention.

He wanted Jimin to pat his hair like that too but it's not like he can just ask that.

Tsk, I'm obviously cuter than that little chimp.
