☆☆Tiny Child Fights☆☆

Jungkook regrets all of his life choices.

He shouldn't have gone to that party so he wouldn't even get involved in something he clearly did not see coming.

"I would fucking kill you, Koo Junhoe." He uttered in his murderous tone with his eyes releasing imaginary flames that Taehyung and Jin could somehow manage to be seeing.

Seokjin, who is driving their black pickup truck with Taehyung beside him, manages to utter a word despite them gulping from how scared they got from how Jungkook looks as of the moment. Jungkook is clearly in his killing mode by the looks of him.

"C-Come on, Jungkook-ah... it's not that bad if you think about it. We will get to see those cute little children in the daycare and... um..." Seokjin is losing his ability to speak from how nervous he is getting from Jungkook's still hard glare at him now. His heart is seriously palpitating! And for God's sake, they are only meeting each other's stares in the rear-view mirror but he's afraid he might actually piss his pants and crash the car!

Taehyung, thankfully, is fast to notice his older brother's dilemma so he cleared his throat and speaks with his shaky voice.

"S-Seokjin-hyung's right, Jungkook! And it's a birthday party so there's free food! Who doesn't want free food? I mean... right?" Taehyung holds onto his seatbelt and he actually turns at Jungkook who is sitting at the back seat.

He ends up blinking profusely and laughing awkwardly before he straightened on his seat once again.

And Jungkook doesn't look one bit interested.

"I guess you don't like it then too, huh."

As soon as they arrive at the daycare to deliver these boxes of juices that were ordered beforehand, they all stepped out of the pickup after Seokjin parked outside. The moment Jungkook steps out of the back seat, he sighed as if the day has already ended when in fact it was just 9 in the morning.

The only reason why he even came with Seokjin and Taehyung was really because of his stupid father whom he asked just the night before as to why he can't find his credit cards in his packed bags. He is waiting patiently (not really) for his father's reply and is even ready to accuse his now still nosy roommates for maybe stealing his things when thank God his father replied that same night and quotes,

'I'm afraid you won't be needing that from now on, son. Your uncle would provide you shelter and food and I think he forgot to tell you since you're asking now but you'll also work at his convenience store. We already talked about it and he gladly accepted. He even approved about giving you an allowance if you would work diligently.'

From that, Jungkook finally realized it.

His father has officially gone insane.

Never did he even imagine that this day would come when he would be delivering these boxes of juices for a birthday boy and he is not at all pleased.

Entering the gates of the daycare, they are welcomed with a sight of children playing around in the front yard with the mini playground on the side. There is a long table in the middle with a banner containing the birthday boy's picture and a 'Happy Birthday' sign with his name on it. The foods for the birthday party are already settled and lined on the table, different colors of balloons displayed around and some kids with those silly yet cute party hats on are even running around with some of it.

The sight made Taehyung and Seokjin feel at awe. They love kids and it's just unquestionable.

Soon, the mother of the birthday boy walked up to them with a welcoming smile, telling them to just bring down the boxes beside the table so they could eat. Seokjin would've refused if only Taehyung who is actually waiting for that issue to be raised started thanking the mother happily saying that they would love to. There's no better thing than free food like what he had already said a while ago.

So Jungkook was left with no choice but to stay.

Doom reigns on him even more. This is so not his type of party. He's more into those wild ones with alcohols served and not that boring plate of spaghetti with barbecue and hotdogs he is now forced to eat in courtesy of Taehyung himself who now seems to be forming a tower of food on his plate as if it's a buffet or something. Seokjin can't even help but to sigh since he knows he couldn't stop his brother anymore.

And he would prefer to be surrounded with some hot chics all over him and not be pestered by these little creatures who keep on squealing, giggling, laughing, and running around like there's no tomorrow.

He doesn't even like children geez, so save his life.

Already having a headache, he looks particularly at nothing when his eyes landed on this kid who is sitting alone on one of the swings. The little boy is just sitting there on the swing with a half-eaten plate of food on his lap as his head hung low and Jungkook is confused. He narrowed his eyes to take a closer look at the little boy because he looked familiar to him.

Then it rings a bell.

What the... isn't he that little chimpanzee who called me an idiot just a few days ago?!

"Huh, it looks like it's my lucky day." He stands up after putting down his plate somewhere already cracking his knuckles with that smirk as he is about to walk towards the kid but these three kids, including from how Jungkook recognized as the birthday boy, already beat him to it.

The three kids who are slightly taller and chubbier are already surrounding the little boy who looked even tinier now.

Jungkook doesn't know but he smells something bad from these three kids. And his intuition got answered when the birthday boy starts talking.

"Yah, Park Minwoo... aren't you embarrassed that you're wearing that ugly bear shirt at my birthday party? It doesn't even look new!" The chubby birthday boy with his narrow eyes and plump cheeks is obviously picking a fight. His clothes look flashy and his shoes are definitely a designer one compared to what the chimpanzee, who now Jungkook knew as 'Minwoo' is wearing.

Jungkook doesn't look pleased. Especially, since his little chimpanzee is just there looking on the plate of spaghetti that was on his lap all helpless.

"Look at his shoes! Pfft, could we even call those shoes? Look at how dirty it is. It looks gross!" The three kids laughed heartily and Jungkook was so surprised to see that Minwoo only keeps on biting his lower lip and now staring at his dirtied shoes too. He isn't even looking up.

Jungkook was actually rooting for this little boy's comeback since he knew that the kid could actually fight back. Their first encounter from days ago is a perfect example.

Jungkook scoffed. This is one of the reasons why doesn't like children at all especially these type of kids who are just considered as spoiled brats. These kids are a bunch of bullies.

He was about to ignore it and walk away, shaking his head since it's not his business anyway. But then what shocked him was that the chubby kid actually threw the spaghetti on Minwoo's head.

Minwoo had enough and he stands up from the swing where he was sitting at making all of his spaghetti splatters on the grass. And he bravely pushes the birthday boy who is now butt-flat on the grass.

And that's when it all went wrong.

Jungkook cursed.

He can't believe that in his 22 years of living that he is just about to meddle in a child's fight.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Jimin ran all the way from work towards the daycare with a terrified look on his face. He immediately gets in his feet the moment he received that one text from Hoseok telling that Minwoo got in trouble. Worry is etched on his face. It's the first time that he is getting called in the daycare because of something Minwoo did. He is horrified to the core, thinking that his baby got hurt. He wouldn't actually know what he would do if something bad happens to his little boy.

He sees the familiar small office and didn't hesitate to rush inside. The moment he opens the door and sees the cold stares of a woman he doesn't know, he sensed that it wasn't just a simple matter.

Even though it seems to be the case, when he scanned the office, all he sees is his little boy calling out for him.

"Appa," Minwoo called and Jimin scans his son noticing the now dirtied shirt and khaki shorts of his son as well as his hair and face that got smudged with what looks like some spaghetti sauce to him. The distress in Minwoo's voice is enough for Jimin to rush on his side to crouch down and hug his little boy. Minwoo hugs him back as tight as he nuzzled his nose on his Appa's shoulder seeking comfort.

Jimin pats his son's head softly, kissing Minwoo's head repeatedly and not caring whether his own clothes got dirtied. He doesn't know what happened but Minwoo doesn't look hurt and it was more than he could wish for as of that moment.

"Are you that kid's father?" The woman who is wearing that thick makeup that does not at all contrast the structures of her face and outfit asked with an irritated tone.

Jimin pulls back from the hug for a while and stands up to look at the woman and to the other parents who are in the same room with a cynical look on his face.

"I am. May I ask why am I called here for?" Jimin's stagnant eyes landed at Hoseok who is also in the room together with three other grown-up men on his side that weren't familiar to him. There are also these three kids who are still wearing their party hats clinging on their parents' hand and Jimin sees how they were giving Minwoo the cold look.

"Oh, nothing too important. It's just that your kid suddenly misbehaved and decided to pick a fight on our children." One of the fathers who is holding his son told angrily and Jimin got taken aback. He knew that Minwoo wouldn't do something like that.

"My boy here said that they were just playing and then suddenly your child starts throwing tantrums. How could his manners be like that at such a young age." The other father scolded in rage.

Jungkook who is also standing there on the sidelines heard this and scoffed in disbelief. Taehyung and Seokjin who only saw Jungkook in the middle of the child's fight earlier only helped but they also didn't know what went down there.

Minwoo isn't saying anything. He just hides behind his Appa's legs as he wraps his arms around it.

"See? Your kid isn't even denying it! How could he just to this to my birthday boy! Did you know that he pushed him enough for my baby to fall on the ground?" The mother of the birthday boy raised her voice and Jimin feels his son shaking behind his legs.

The more Jungkook hears about these parents' bullshits, the more his blood starts boiling. He is about to put them in their places but Seokjin tugs at his elbow to stop him. He just doesn't want to put Jungkook in trouble. So Jungkook stays at where he stands and he just clenched his fists.

Deep breaths, Jungkook... Deep breaths... He chants in his head to stop himself from actually smacking these little liars' spoiled heads at what lies they told to their parents about what really happened.

"I sincerely apologize for what happened. I assure you that this won't happen again." Jimin apologized as he bowed his head and Hoseok feels sorry for his best friend for not being able to help. He can't choose sides since it will only cause them greater problems if he did. He also knows that Minwoo isn't someone who would do those kinds of things.

"Like I would still let my kid associate with yours." Even though Jimin hears that, he just keeps his head low as the parents started walking out of the office with their kids. They are still giving the stinky eyes as they drag their kids out and this mother even commented something really rude.

"Tsk, you should raise your child better than this." She scoffed before leaving and Jungkook swears he almost punched her foul mouth.

Hoseok closed the door after they all left muttering a few apologies as well.

When Jimin raised his head, he gets back to crouching down to check on Minwoo who can't look at him in the eyes now. He caresses his son's cheeks with an apologetic look in his eyes. He feels bad because he couldn't be there for Minwoo.

"Minwoo-ya... would you mind telling Appa what really happened? You know Appa would believe you, right?" Jimin keeps his tone as soft as he can, not wanting to make his little boy cry. Minwoo manages to look at his Appa with the bottom of his lips trembling as if he is forcing himself not to cry because it would only make his Appa even more worried and he doesn't like that.

"I'm sorry, Appa... I shouldn't have fought back," was all Minwoo said with his sad eyes and Jimin couldn't be any hurt. He knew it. Those kids started it.

"Is that why your clothes got dirty?" Jimin raised a question and Jungkook who was watching on the two's interaction sees how Minwoo's eyes blink profusely as if he's troubled to say the real reason.

"I'm sorry, I think it's my fault."

All attention is now on Jungkook who speaks suddenly. Jimin scans him and sees his disheveled state. His hair is messy with some strands sticking up oddly and his shirt got crinkles on weird places. He also has some visible red scratches on his face too.

Jimin would actually believe if someone would tell him that Jungkook is the penetrator because of Jungkook's state.

Only if he knows that Jungkook looks like that because he indeed meddled in the kids' fight. The other kid literally scratched his face accidentally for simply trying to stop them. And maybe lifting one of the kids just to get them away from each other is a bad idea too since his hair got grabbed painfully.

He realized that kids are indeed super scary these days.

"I might've accidentally spilled my food on him whilst stopping their fight," Jungkook confessed as a half-lie. He did stop them but it wasn't exactly the reason why Minwoo's clothes got dirty. Even though that was the case, he meets Minwoo's eyes and the kid looked like he almost saved his life.

"Thank you so much for helping, Mr... um..." Jimin reaches out his hand but realizes that he doesn't know the latter's name.

"Jungkook..." He insisted as he reaches out for Jimin's smaller hands on his, he noticed. "I'm Jungkook."

Jimin gives a polite smile as he shakes Jungkook's hand. "You have a nice name, Jungkook-ssi... I'm Park Jimin."

For a moment there, Jungkook blinks as he sees the soft smile on Jimin's features as well as how Jimin's eyes just turned into crescents. He is about to return the compliment just to be civil of course but Jimin already withdraws his hand.

"Look at you..." Jimin wipes away the spaghetti sauce on his son's cheeks. "I know that you're a messy eater but you shouldn't feed your cheeks, Minwoo." Jimin scolded playfully and Minwoo giggles finally. Jimin smiles at his son too before he planted soft kisses on his cheeks.

"He's cute, isn't he?" Taehyung suddenly pops behind Jungkook's back cooing at the father and son duo.

Jungkook looks uninterested so he just shrugs. "He has a kid, Taehyung."

And maybe he said the wrong words because he sees Taehyung suddenly grinning and it doesn't look like a good thing.

"I was referring to the kid, Jungkook." Jungkook who looks like he committed an unforgivable sin opens his mouth to speak and defend himself but Taehyung already started giggling as he walks towards his older brother.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Hoseok closed the daycare after they all helped in cleaning up the front yard taking away all of the trashes left after the birthday party.

Jimin already bids goodbye to Hoseok who walks the other way and was ready to go home with Minwoo when his son tugged at his hand as soon as they stopped at the gates of the daycare.

"What is it Minwoo?" Minwoo looks down and pulled away his small hand from his Appa who looks confused for a moment.

"P-please wait here for me a little, Appa." He asks before he walked away with Jimin's stares following his move. And there Jimin sees Minwoo walking towards the same guy with the raven hair earlier.

Minwoo tugs on Jungkook's shirt who's just about to climb on the back seat of the car with Seokjin and Taehyung now staring at the kid too with that fond smiles on their faces.

Jungkook almost looks surprised but still crouched down displaying a blank face to look uninterested although he's intrigued for Minwoo's reason for coming up to him. That is still the kid who stole his banana milk after all.

"What do you want?" Jungkook asks coldly with his raised eyebrows, his undivided attention still on the kid.

Minwoo contemplates for a while before he reached out his hand. Jungkook stared at the little hand and sees a candy wrapped in yellow on the kid's palm.

"Thank you for helping me earlier, Ahjussi. This is banana-flavored so I think you would like it." The kid insisted.

"Please accept this as my gratitude." Minwoo bows and Jungkook hides the small smile that managed to creep on his face not expecting the action. But he fastly wipes his smile off and cleared his throat as he unwraps the candy to pop it in his mouth tasting it. He's actually surprised that it tastes good, the banana flavoring bursting in his taste buds.

"It's a little tasty... erm, just a little." He furrowed his eyebrows to hide his delight since he doesn't want to keep his guards down with this kid.

Minwoo smiles proudly. He knew that Jungkook would like it not because it's banana-flavored but simply because it's just color yellow. He thinks that Jungkook doesn't even know what a banana is since he could still remember how Jungkook doesn't know that Banana milk is made out of bananas.

And now that he thinks about it, he might still have a little resentment for Jungkook because of talking bad about his Appa.

His tiny feet are about to walk away so he could go home with his Appa but he suddenly turns his head at Jungkook.

"But you're still a Pabo-Ahjussi." He utters, completely silencing Jungkook.

Taehyung and Seokjin heard and they both laugh their hearts out with the kid's comment on Jungkook. Seokjin was even slapping Taehyung's arm with his windshield-wiper laugh as Taehyung holds his stomach with his head falling back on their car's door.

It was when Minwoo finally reached his Appa and starts walking home that Jungkook managed to get back to his senses. His eyes suddenly turned cold and he lifts his sleeves up.

He knew it. He should've been more cautious with that kid who is now the number one in his enemy list too!

"I will go and beat that little chimpanzee and turn him into pulp." Seokjin and Taehyung's eyes widened and they both grabbed Jungkook's arms back.

And what's even scarier is that Jungkook looked way too serious about it.
