A Christmas Gift! 😘💜💜💜
I can't believe I escaped the last part of my family's reunion just to update 😂
And they're just talking so loudly anyway so I'm not being a bad family member, don't misunderstand!

☆☆Tiny Squabbles☆☆

It is already 4 pm, the usual end of the children's daycare class. Every kid was already picked up by their parents who thanked Hoseok for taking care of their child. And now only Hoseok and little Minwoo were left in the daycare.

Hoseok already received Jimin's text minutes ago asking--begging him actually to accompany his son home since Jimin claimed that the restaurant got suddenly busy and with his boss's request, he is needed to stay for a little longer. He apologized to Hoseok multiple times and Hoseok only replied with his usual 'No worries, Jimin. You know I always love spending time with Minwoo.'

Jimin still felt really bad for always asking Hoseok for the same favor and the latter knew that Jimin would again beat himself for that simple matter so instead, he told Jimin to just make it up for him with ice cream. Jimin agreed with an enthusiastic 'Okay' and another apology and Hoseok swears Jimin is such a worrywart sometimes.

"I guess it will be you and me again, buddy." Hoseok says after he puts his phone inside his jean's pocket. Minwoo doesn't even ask further since he understands that his Appa is working overtime again. He wouldn't mind spending time with his teacher slash Uncle Hoseok since it's fun for both of them.

"Do you want to buy anything before we go home, Minwoo-ya?" Hoseok asked happily, already skipping as he walked with Minwoo's hand in his left as they marched towards the convenience store that wasn't that far from the daycare.

"Mmm..." Minwoo stops suddenly and so did Hoseok. Hoseok gets confused at first but when he sees Minwoo scratching his head as if he is thinking really deeply about something, he couldn't help but coo.

No wonder he's Jimin's kid. How could these two be adorable like this? Hoseok shakes his head as he smiles in amusement.

"Is there something wrong?" Hoseok now crouches down to be on the same level as the kid who still looks conflicted about something. Minwoo looks down as if he's embarrassed about something and now Hoseok gets a little worried.

"Hey bud... everything okay?" He already knows that Minwoo would only look down and do this subtle shuffling of his feet if something is really troubling him.

Minwoo stares at Hoseok with his lips formed in thin lines. He does not particularly look sad but more of embarrassed to say something. He says what troubles him otherwise since he trusts his Uncle Hobi.

"I don't have any pennies left..." It came out more like a whisper and when Hoseok realized what Minwoo was worrying about, he chuckles and pats Minwoo's hair.

"It's okay, Minwoo! Uncle Hobi will buy you anything!" Hoseok finally sees Minwoo's eyes twinkling in delight and his heart almost flips at the sight. He might end up buying the whole convenience store if it's for this kid, really.

And so their journey to the convenience store proceeds. In all honesty, Hoseok does really plan to treat Minwoo to this convenience store but he, of course, have another reason for coming.

Just as expected, he sees the man of his dreams talking with someone. Hoseok swears his heart leaps just by his looks. It's no doubt that he's clearly head over heels for this person. For him, he was just the epitome of perfection. Everything he sees is this manly aura all around him and he can't help but be so whipped every time he will have a glimpse of the said male. Even though he's actually years older than him. Not a problem, he has a thing for older men anyway. Well, not the 'grandpa type' of older men but just this man.

Even though the said man is actually being petty right now, Hoseok still sees him just as attractive.

"Yah, yah, yah... Aren't you really going to give me a discount, Dong Wook-ah? I've been buying my supplies to you and we've been friends for--"

"You're using that friend-card with me again and it's not going to work with me. Business is business, Gong Yoo-ssi." The male with those cold-looking eyes replied with his business-like tone as he seems to be checking something on his clipboard. Staring up as he mumbles inaudible words like he's computing or something, he finally reaches his hand out with a charming smile with those cute wrinkles on his eyes.

"That would be a total of ₩123,350.80 for the deliveries." Hoseok sees Gong Yoo scoffing before warily handing the money from his wallet for his payment.

"You didn't even remove the centavo? Are you even human?" The other charming male around his 40's shakes his head with that still gorgeous-looking smile and Gong Yoo gives up.

"Wow... you're really growing on my nerves." Dong Wook just salutes him as he heads to the truck to bring down more of their deliveries for the convenience store.

Hoseok sees his opportunity so he walks toward the man cautiously with Minwoo by his side. Gong Yoo sees the familiar face whom he sees almost every morning passing by at their convenience store and waves seeing the kid Hoseok has with him.

Let's just say that Hoseok purposely passes by to the convenience store every morning (and every chance he gets actually) buying random things before he comes to the daycare just to have an excuse to have a glimpse of this fine man or have a short conversation like this. Yep, not so subtle at all.

Hoseok returns the wave with a shy smile.

"A-Anyeonghaseyo..." Hoseok greeted with a slight bow that is returned immediately.

"Oh, Teacher Jung... is this your kid?" Gong Yoo asked amused as he fastly crouched down to meet Minwoo's shy gaze. Hoseok is fast to deny it not wanting the latter to misunderstand although he doubts that the older male would care anyways.

"N-No, No... I was just asked to accompany him for a while but he's really my best friend's kid." He gulps nervously, his cheeks turning warmer as seconds go by because of the latter's presence and gaze on him.

Gong Yoo looked pleased and he is now smiling at Minwoo who keeps on blinking because he isn't used to meeting new people. He just hugs Hoseok's left leg and buries his face there almost asking for Hoseok to save him.

The older man finds it amusing so he pinches Minwoo's cheek softly. He missed having a child so maybe that could explain why he looks thrilled.

"You look really adorable you know that, little buddy?" Minwoo only blinks like he is still processing what Gong Yoo was saying to him.

Gong Yoo chuckles, telling Minwoo to go and get anything he wants in the store after Hoseok confessed that they are actually there to get Minwoo something. Hoseok's planning to get himself an ice cream too but change of plans, he can wait for Minwoo outside without his ice cream if that means spending extra time talking with this gorgeous man.

------------------------------------------------------------

Minwoo happily walks towards the sliding door of the convenience store that startles him at first because it opened automatically. It's his first time seeing such a thing so he couldn't help but giggle at it.

Knowing already what he wants to have, he skips towards the aisles to go look for that yellow thing. He looks up and jumps to look at the higher part he can't see. And when he didn't see what he's looking for in the first aisle, he decides to shift to the other aisle and there it is!

With his perfect vision, he adjusts his eyeglasses to push it up on the bridge of his nose further and he's about to reach for his yellow thing.

Unluckily, someone takes it first.

He looks at the stranger that almost looks gigantic from his vision. He's still so small compared to the other's height. But he can't just give up on his yellow thing. It's his favorite and he wants to share it with his Appa. So he tugs at the giant's sleeves to get his attention.

"Ahjussi... would you give me that banana milk?" He asks hopefully.

Minwoo sees the stranger pondering as if the latter is thinking deeply. So he stares back at the banana milk as if he feels it will disappear anytime.

"I got this first so this is mine. Now get lost, you tiny creature." Minwoo's eyes flashed at the stranger which is actually just your not-so-friendly-neighborhood Jeon Jungkook. Within a mere millisecond, Minwoo frowns disappointedly as if he heard the most heartbreaking thing in the world.

"Can't you buy a different one this time, Ahjussi? I want to share it with Appa." Minwoo almost pleads, his eyes shaking and he looks like he's close to crying.

In Minwoo's dismay, Jungkook's heart doesn't waver a bit for the kid's pleading state. He just keeps this cold and cheeky expression on his face staring down at the kid. Minwoo feels slightly scared. He is about to ask again but Jungkook said something really mean.

"Tsk, like I care about your Appa. He's even letting you wander around all alone like this. You see kid, I don't think your Appa even cares about you so don't overwork yourself." Every father is like that anyway. Jungkook wants to add but didn't.

Minwoo feels hurt. The urge to cry builds up but he chooses not to get affected by Jungkook's words. He knows how much his Appa loves him because his Appa kisses and hugs him every time so there's no use in believing this Ahjussi that he now officially dislikes.

So instead of sulking, Minwoo scrunched his face as his lips become protruded almost appearing like a pout. He's now giving Jungkook the stinky eyes.

"Do you have your name on it, Ahjussi?" Minwoo asks and Jungkook scoffs, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Why would I even put my name on this?" Jungkook retorted.

Minwoo copies Jungkook's actions since he thinks he would look cool too (even though he doesn't want to admit that Jungkook looks a little cool) and so he crosses his arms as well.

"Then it's not yours. You don't have proof, you don't have your name on it." Minwoo replies and Jungkook's eyes flinch at the unexpected comeback from the kid.

"Yah, I told you that I got this first--"

"Did you pay for it?" Minwoo interrupted and Jungkook was shut up by that.

"N-Not yet. But it doesn't mean I won't!" Jungkook argues and soon clears his throat from stuttering. Almost cursing himself for getting flustered at this child's ability to talk back to him like this. Even his parents and friends weren't that good in arguing with him.

"Could you just give it, Ahjussi?" Minwoo persisted, reaching his tiny hand out like a boss and his determined eyes stare back at Jungkook's.

"Why do you even want this so bad?" Jungkook asked, clearly not wanting to give up too.

"Because I love bananas and milk and Appa loves bananas too."

Jungkook suddenly thinks of an idea so he completely changed his demeanor. Looking as confident as ever and thinking that he could fool this kid, his shoulders looked higher than ever as he tells his next words. It's not like this tiny creature would even tell the lies that he's about to say... right?

"This is not made out of bananas, don't you know? This is just..." Jungkook thinks for a while before he continues. "Erm, j-just yellow coloring! Right, it's just yellow coloring." Jungkook inspects the kid's reaction and there he is, looking as confused as ever.

Jungkook feels proud. It's working. I knew it! And he likes bananas?? Huh! What is he? Some chimpanzee trying to pick a fight on this smartass?

Minwoo stares at the banana milk as if he's pondering on the new information he received. But after just a while, Minwoo stares back at Jungkook and he looked so done.

He almost pities Jungkook actually.

"Pabo Ahjussi." Minwoo uttered unamused.

Jungkook's eyes widened for a split second before he managed to utter something back.

"D-Did you just call me an idiot?!" Jungkook shouted as he got taken aback by the nickname, his hands now on his hips to look more intimidating although he was failing so badly.

"I did. Because you are obviously one." Minwoo replied as he tiptoed and finally managed to get what's his now from Jungkook before he started walking away from that convenience store, leaving a stunned Jungkook.

"Yah! Get back here, you little chimpanzee! You're still not paying for that Banana Milk!" Jungkook retorted after a while of surprise only to see the glass door of the convenience store closing.

"That little punk." He cursed under his breath, making sure to remember the chimpanzee's face so he could ban him the next time he steps foot in the store.

------------------------------------------------------------

It was already around 9 in the evening and Jimin just finished taking his shower after his tiresome work at the restaurant where he works. It was especially hectic that day so his back was still hurting. He wanted to just take a break for a while but he knew he couldn't do that since missing a day would also mean missing a day of his salary as well. And he couldn't bear to do that.

"Appa," his 3-year-old son who was sitting in front of his crossed-legged position on their bed called out. Only one word but he already sensed the little annoyance in his little bean's tone of voice.

Jimin stopped brushing his son's hair to listen carefully to what Minwoo has to say.

"What is it, baby?" He asked already curious.

Minwoo was now facing him with a visible pout which he hardly sees on the latter's facial expression. He almost giggled at his son's cuteness but he stopped himself from cooing because the latter seemed to have some rantings.

"I met this Pabo-Ahjussi at the convenience store." Minwoo mumbled out with his still protruded lips.

"A Pabo-Ahjussi?" Jimin repeated earning a nod.

"A-huh. He tried to steal my Banana Milk but I won." Jimin finally chuckled, tucking his son's hair that managed to stick out on that little forehead. He doesn't know what happened but the victory grin on Minwoo's facial features was enough to make him smile.

"You know it's bad to call anyone stupid, right? Especially if they're older than you." Jimin lectured out subtly. Minwoo is indeed smart and polite so he doesn't really know why he would suddenly talk ill about this certain 'Pabo-Ahjussi' as if his son already despised the said individual.

And just as expected, Minwoo hugged his waist. "I'm sorry Appa."

"But if you were in my place earlier you would agree that he's really a Pabo-Ahjussi." The 3-year-old continued with his furrowed eyebrows after raising his head to meet his Appa's confused stares.

"Why though?" Jimin asked with a questioning look.

Minwoo sighed remembering his argument with this Pabo-Ahjussi. He couldn't help but feel stressed out so he just dramatically pinched the bridge of his nose with his adorable tiny fingers making Jimin chuckle.

"He literally argued that Banana Milk is not made out of Bananas, Appa... And it's called Banana Milk."

Jimin chuckled, already picturing out a crinkled old man who's probably balding and is on the stage of forgetting things so he can't really judge.

Completely unaware that it wasn't the case at all.

Because needless to say, this Pabo-Ahjussi is an outright set of packed abs, broad shoulders, very well-defined muscles, chiseled jawline, doe eyes, sharp nose, red lips, deep voice, and veiny hands. And did anyone mention those ripping thighs that can make you choke by just looking? Nope?

Well... Park Jimin is surely missing a lot of information.

But at least his son clearly got the Pabo on point.
