☆☆Tiny Cat in the Bag☆☆

"Jungkook-ah," Taehyung calls out with a sniff, blowing his nose on the tissue he's holding as he stared at Jungkook with his glassy eyes. His nose is already red from crying and Jungkook could only roll his eyes at how dramatic Taehyung is being.

"Do you really need to go back to Seoul?" Taehyung asked with another sniff of his nose. Jin had been calming down his younger brother for at least an hour now but Taehyung was still working on his Oscar to even stop his whining.

"I'm not dying, Taehyung. I'm just moving back to Seoul and it's not like I can't visit you all here anymore." Jungkook pointed out, a bottle of unopened wine on his hand since they were actually having a sort of a farewell party suggested by the Kim brothers.

The second-floor apartment was decorated with some balloons and they closed the convenience store for the day. They were only waiting for Yoongi, Namjoon, Junhoe, Kim brother's old man and Yoongi's old man to arrive before they actually started the little party they were planning to have.

Jungkook sighed tiredly, setting down the bottle of wine on the table with foods lined up for them to eat before he walked towards Taehyung to hug the older. He pats Taehyung's back as Taehyung wrapped his arms around his waist tightly, still sniffing and chest heaving.

"Don't you dare put snots on my shirt or I'll kill you, I swear to God." Jungkook warned but Taehyung continued hugging him tightly as if he's Taehyung's big teddy that he can't sleep without.

Jin also felt sad about Jungkook leaving already of course. It was so sudden and Jungkook only told them last night, didn't even brief them about everything. Jungkook only reasoned that his father wants him back, something about their business or something he couldn't quite understand. He asked Junhoe as well only to receive the same answers.

And he might be overreacting but his guts still tell him that it wasn't just Jungkook's reasons why he's leaving. Because when they asked if Jungkook already talked with Jimin or if Jimin even knows, Jungkook only replied with a plain 'We said our goodbyes and it's enough.' And if that wasn't weird then he probably doesn't know what is anymore. The Jeon Jungkook who is obviously head over heels for the single father wouldn't say things like that. And damn it! The whipped Jungkook wouldn't even think about leaving in the first place so there's probably a catch to all of this!

The others arrived after a few more minutes with the take-outs they bought, just some spicy fried chicken, tteokbokki, and pizzas. They were having casual conversations, Gong Yoo, Dong Wook, and Jin trying to lighten the mood and it seemed to be working since Taehyung was starting to speak up and start little conversations. Seriously, they were starting to get confused about who's really leaving since Taehyung seemed to be the one who's more affected by it all.

They were sharing some inside jokes, eating together, and reminding Jungkook some things although all Jungkook did was to reply with a roll of his eyes, telling them that he could handle himself thank you very much.

They were enjoying each other's company when the doorbell from downstairs interrupted them. Yoongi said that he'll check it so they continued with their talks. What they weren't prepared though, was when Yoongi came back. But he wasn't alone anymore.

"Ahjussi!" Minwoo called excitedly as he dashed towards Jungkook who was frozen on his seat.

Of course, Minwoo didn't come there by himself. Hoseok was there too and well. . . Jimin. Yep. The Park Jimin who caught his eye the very first time they met. The Park Jimin who made him feel things he shouldn't have. The Park Jimin who made him feel what it's like to want to have a family. The Park Jimin whom he loved and still does. And the Park Jimin who also just broke his heart the night before.

Yep, it's the one and only Park Jimin who made him decide to leave Busan and come back to Seoul too. Because why not? He's maybe tired of it all. Tired of chasing Jimin, tired of always getting rejected, tired of always seeming to be the only one to care about what they have. Whatever it is they had. Did they even have something going on in the first place? He thinks bitterly. Maybe none.

Because maybe Jimin never even reciprocated his feelings at all.

And it only just sank to him after he came home that night that it turned out that Kang Yi Tian, his most hated person in the world and his sole arch-nemesis was, after all, Jimin's ex and Minwoo's father.  And now that the fucker was in the picture, maybe he wasn't needed anymore. Jimin even told him that himself.

Now that Yi Tian was there, they would start a family again. And who was he to deprive Minwoo to have his father back and to have a complete family?

A family he still wishes he could have for himself.

Wow, he's still pathetic. And selfish. Because honestly, he still wanted Jimin to accept him and actually choose him.

"Hey, Min." He rubbed Minwoo's hair with a faint but genuine smile, the three-year-old completely stuck on his chest, cheek squished on him and still the cutest. He suddenly felt sad, a painful thug knocking on his chest. He'll surely miss the kid and the memories they had together.

"I missed you, Ahjussi! You weren't visiting us for a week already. Were you busy?" Minwoo asked him curiously once he stepped back a little from Jungkook. Jungkook thought that that's what Jimin said so he just nodded, still smiling softly as he ruffled Minwoo's hair.

"I'm sorry, Min. I, um. . . got some things to do." He wanted to say that he'll just visit often but he couldn't even dare himself to say that. He didn't even know if he could visit again. At least not for a while. He wanted to heal himself first and make sure to get his mind off of things that happened in that city in that short span of time. What? Three months or four already? He couldn't be sure. He felt like he stayed there for years already.

Maybe he would also return to his old ways to move on. And maybe if the day comes when he was sure that he could face Jimin without any feelings hindering him, then maybe he'll come back again. And be happy for Jimin. Genuinely. But it's definitely not right now.

Not when he's still hurting and heartbroken from it all.

"Hi," Jimin spoke with a curt and polite smile and they stared at each other, Jungkook's expression void of any emotion. He was trying not to show anything, not wanting any of his feelings anymore. Or at least he's still trying to work on that. Because fuck it, those who think that love could be forgotten for only a day are such morons. He's not even sure how long he could move on. Or if he actually could, honestly. He thinks he can't.

Just why does Jimin need to be someone who would be so hard to forget?

"Hi," He chose to answer the same thing back with Minwoo now on his lap. There was no exchange of smiles, just a little curve of Jimin's lips which doesn't exactly look happy at all. He clenched his fists, making sure that Jimin wasn't looking at it before he did it or else it would give him away. Would make it seem like he's still affected by it all. Although it's true after all but that's the last thing he would do for himself. Not to look pitiful, that is.

He's not even sure why Jimin would be here!

"I, um, I got you something because I heard from, uh. . . I heard from Taehyung about," Jimin halted, glancing at Minwoo who was curiously staring at him without knowing anything on why they were there. He knew that his son would be heartbroken if he happened to know that Jungkook will leave today (Like what he felt the night before when Taehyung told him about it, even crying himself until he lose sleep). . . that he is letting his biological father leave again.

He soon cleared his throat and blinked his eyes, not wanting to start tearing up. He just hoped that his anxiety wouldn't show.

"I heard you'll be busy." He settled for another lie, something he's started to be great at doing nowadays. And Jungkook could already tell that Minwoo doesn't know that he'll leave today by just that.

Jungkook scoffed and looked away. Of course, Jimin would do this again. He's even wondering now if Jimin even told Minwoo that Yi Tian would be back in their lives, that he's letting that asshole even hold Minwoo like he didn't abandon them before, that Minwoo will have a complete family now and he will have a 'Dada' finally, or that Jimin's old lover who made him cry like shit is now back and that Jimin is being stupid to even accept that asshole who--He stopped his thoughts, closing his eyes tightly as he tried to calm himself down. No. . . he is not going to let himself lose control. Not in front of Minwoo. Not in front of Jimin. Because from now on, he will start forgetting them and will move on with his life.

Just the way Jimin wanted it.

"Thank you," He replied to Jimin plainly, accepting the paper bag Jimin handed him but he didn't bother to look at it. He only placed it down on the couch beside him and focused on Minwoo again, his eyes softening as he stared at the kid.

Jimin's heart breaks seeing Jungkook talk with Minwoo, with their son that way. Jungkook is already a sweet and a nice guy even though Jungkook doesn't seem to notice that himself. But Jungkook kinda gets more loveable and gentle when it came to Minwoo. That was something he hates before. Because honestly, just who does Jungkook think he is to be good to his son. He just doesn't want Minwoo to get attached to him.

But now that he already found out that Jungkook was that guy from the party, Minwoo's father to be precise, he can't help but think that Jungkook deserved more than that. That Jungkook also deserved to be with their son too. That Jungkook deserved to know as well.

But then he happened to meet Junhoe's stares directed at him and it was as if their conversation kept on coming back to him. It was as if he's getting reminded of yesterday again when it all got wrong. And then he's back again on that table, where he and Junhoe talked. And that was enough. That was enough for him to remember the reason he had for letting Jungkook go.

Hoseok walked towards Jimin, pulling his friend and subtly whispering if he's okay. Surprisingly, Jimin didn't cry yet. Hoseok comforted him and let him sit on the couch that was in front of Minwoo and Jungkook who was still having their talks full of giggles and laughter. He just let them. It's the least he could do for Jungkook.

With the obvious tension in the room, Seokjin had enough. Knowing already who invited Jimin, he stared at his younger brother with a kind smile.

"Taehyungie? Would you mind helping me get more drinks in the kitchen?" He asked ever so sweetly and Taehyung nodded, already in a good mood since he sees Jungkook interacting with Minwoo again.

They headed to their mini kitchen, away from the living room and when Seokjin finally made sure that the others wouldn't be able to hear them, he got on with his purpose. His eyes were now furious as he stared back at his brother who was surprised for the sudden change of expression. But Jin only shakes his head in disappointment as he launched forward and pinched Taehyung's clothed nipples with both of his index and thumb fingers, twisting it in a not-so-gentle-manner.

"Ow, hyung! Wha-- I'm your younger brother! You can't do kinky shits to me like that! Do it with Namjoon-hyung instead." Taehyung whined and protested after he managed to remove Jin's hands away from his chest. He was still wincing from how much it hurt, rubbing his chest with a scrunched face.

"Taehyung did the zombies ate your brains?!" Jin asked in retort, his arms already folded on his chest like a typical Asian mother scolding her child.

"What does plants vs. zombies have to do with this?! Why are you even making a reference from--Ow, hyung! Ow! Ow! Stop!" Taehyung tried to protect himself from his older brother's smacks on his arms and it's really starting to get painful.

"Then tell what came in your pea-sized brain that you invited Jimin and Minwoo in here knowing that Jungkook would leave today! Have you gone mad?!" Seokjin fumed in anger and Taehyung was just about to reply in defense but they were interrupted by the sudden footsteps heading their way.

Before they knew it, Minwoo was already standing on the doorway of their small kitchen staring at them curiously and almost hurt.

"Uncle Tae, Uncle Jin, were you two fighting?" Minwoo asked sadly and they both blinked their eyes in shock. "And why will Ahjussi leave today?" Minwoo added and they both stood frozen and eyes widened.

Oh shit, did Minwoo hear them?

Before they could even get back to their senses, Jungkook was already behind Minwoo, staring at them with a glare. And that was enough for them to know that yes, maybe--indeed-- their conversation could be heard all the way to the living room. Well, maybe they also forgot that their apartment is too small and it wasn't exactly soundproof in all corners.

When they got back to the living room, the Kim brothers were already sitting on the couch with their legs shut tightly, hands clasped on their thighs as they both hung their heads low. Yep, they looked like some toddlers who were about to get scolded. And all eyes on them weren't really helping them feel at ease.

"Ahjussi, where are you going?" Minwoo questioned for the second time and both Jin and Taehyung cursed under their breath.

Yoongi and Namjoon felt bad for their boyfriends. Gong Yoo and Dong Wook could only feel disappointment. Hoseok was still by Jimin's side observing Jimin who wasn't reacting well to it. Junhoe looked agitated more than anything and Jungkook was hesitant.

Should he tell Minwoo or should he not?

But after thinking it through with Minwoo still waiting for an answer whilst sitting on his lap, he sighed tiredly and grabbed Minwoo's small waist for the kid to understand. He settled for the former. It's better to say it now to save Jimin and the others the trouble of explaining why he wouldn't be around to play with him anymore if he already left.

"Listen to me carefully, Min, okay?" He consoled Minwoo, careful not to say any word that might make the kid feel off. "Ahjussi will have to leave and go to Seoul because I originally live there and," He breathes in, not really sure what to say. "And I'll be really busy so we, um. . . we might not play a lot like before." He explained calmly although his heartbeats feel otherwise.

Minwoo's expression faltered fast after listening, his shoulders dropping as his tiny fists that were once holding onto Jungkook's shirt now fell on Jungkook's lap as if discouraged. Jungkook felt a painful thug on his chest after seeing Minwoo's eyes turning sad.

"How long will you stay there, Ahjussi?" Minwoo asked sadly, a frown obvious on his features. Jungkook doesn't even know what to answer but everyone seemed to also wait for his answer.

How long will he stay in Seoul exactly? He was also asking that to himself.

Will he even come back to Busan again in the first place? After all of what happened? Could he still go back?

"Don't you want to play with Minwoo anymore? I'm sorry, I promise I will let you borrow Mr. Ice Bear!" Minwoo suddenly spoke when he didn't answer immediately. What surprised him though was when he looked down at Minwoo, the kid was already crying on his lap.

"No, no, Hey, Min, calm down, okay? It's not. . . It's not that." He explained in panic as he started wiping Minwoo's tears away. He looked like he was hesitating. He really doesn't know what to reason out. He had none, to say the least.

"I want to keep on playing with you but just. . ." His instinct allowed him to move and try to explain things to Minwoo but the kid already jumped off of his lap glaring at him.

"You lied to me, Ahjussi! You promised!" Minwoo shouted startling all of them.

Before Jungkook could move from his seat, Minwoo was already running away from him. Away from them.

"Minwoo!" Jimin called and followed after his son, Hoseok trailing behind him.

Jungkook was left devastated, still glued on his seat. He, of all people, knows exactly what Minwoo was saying. This is exactly why he hates making promises. And of course, he remembered promising Minwoo that he would protect him and his Appa. But he didn't quite have a plan B for when things would turn out the way it did. Minwoo probably knew his hesitation, his doubt on whether he would even come back in the first place.

His thoughts were interrupted when Hoseok came running back up to where they were still seated, heaving heavily and he looked in panic. Jungkook was the first one to stand up as their attention was all on Hoseok now. Jungkook asked what happened and Hoseok replied with something they quite couldn't understand fully at first.

"Minwoo ran away and we didn't catch up on him. Jimin already went his way to look for him but--" Jungkook didn't let Hoseok finish and he was already running to go out as well.

"We'll help look for him, Hoseok-hyung. It will be faster that way." Taehyung told and smiled reassuringly, grabbing Hoseok's shoulder as he also followed Jungkook out.

Jin and the others started looking for Minwoo and they told each other to call if ever they already found him. They all went their separate ways, looking for the possible places Minwoo could've run off to.

Jin and Namjoon headed to the restaurant where Jimin works and decided to look there. Yoongi, Gong Yoo, and Dong Wook, on the other hand, went their way to the park to test their luck. Taehyung was following Jungkook to the playground where they played a lot with Minwoo before but the kid wasn't there.

Hoseok and Jimin went to the apartment, thinking that Minwoo might be there but no matter how loud they called they couldn't find him. Jimin was already starting to panic even more, not knowing where Minwoo could have gone to. Just where could a three-year-old go with his little strides? But that's exactly what's making Jimin even more frantic. Because what if something bad already happened to Minwoo that's why they couldn't find him? What if he got lured by someone and got kidnapped or something? What if Minwoo got lost and couldn't find his way? Oh god, his poor baby.

Jungkook had already asked around and went to all of the places where Minwoo and he played and visited before. And when he was so sure that he would find Minwoo in the daycare since it was the only place where they didn't look at, he was left disappointed.

The daycare was empty given that it's a weekend. There were no signs of anyone even in the playground and he would be sure because he, Junhoe, and Taehyung already
