SIMONE P.O.V.

I stuffed a piece of cotton candy in my mouth, as I walked around the carnival with Sean. He wanted to do something fun with me, so we both decided on coming out to this carnvial tonight. It took us a few hours to drive down here, but so far it was worth it.

"You tryna go on the bumper cars?" He asked me. I laughed. "You sound like Aliyah, but yeah, I need a break first."

He smirked. "Aw, them rollercoaters scred you huh?" I slightly rolled my eyes. "No..." He put his arm around my shoulder and laughed. "By the way you was screaming, I could tell you was scared." He picked a piece of my cotton candy and ate it.

"I wasn't screaming...I was showing my excitement." He laughed again. "Right ma, right."

AUGUST P.O.V.

"Can you pass me the sugar please?" I sat down my little teacup and passed Aliyah the sugar cubes. "Thank you, do you want more tea daddy?" I sighed as I tried to get comfortable in the little chairs she had us sitting in. "Sure princess." She picked up her small teapot and poured some more tea in my cup.

"Pinkies up!!" I chuckled as I watched her hold her pinky straight up in the air, as she sipped out of her teacup. "See I told you this would be fun." She sat her cup down and smiled.

"Are we almost done?" She sighed. "Noooo, we still have to eat our donuts and cupcakes." I sighed. "Ight."

"Mommy plays with me all the time, she thinks it's fun." She sat a small donut and cupcake on my plate, and handed me a napkin. "Now, eat your food please." I smirked. "You sound just like mommy." She nodded. "I know."

SIMONE P.O.V.

"So what you did when you went away? You seem so much happier now." I smiled. "I am, I ended up going to Jamaica, and I had a great time, I relaxed, had a few drinks and massages, I just did nothing, and it helped alot."

He nodded. "That's good, you seem different, but in a good way." "Everyone's saying that." I started. "I could see the difference in myself too, Im glad I left."

"I am too, it just sucks, I ain't have nobody to kick it with." I smacked my lips together. "Yeah right, Im sure you found some girls to keep you company." He rubbed his chin and smiled. "I mean, I have girls that I could call up when I need em, but that's just for sex or something, they ain't really the type I'll take out and hang out with it."

I nodded slowly. "Right." He lifted a brow. "You don't believe me?" I shook my head. "I didn't say that, it's just hard to believe your not chilling with anyone else,I mean it's not like your ugly." He pushed his dreads back and smiled.

"Thank you ma." I rolled my eyes, don't flatter yourself, you ain't all that." I psuhed hs shoulder, playfully. "If I wasn't all that you wouldn't be giving me the time of day." I smirked. "Touche."

"So back to business." He started. "You still ain't tell me what you came up with on your little getaway."

"Right, well I did alot of thinking, and Im not sure where August and I are going, I told him I needed more time to think, and he was fine with it, and I wanna ask you the same thing."

He rubbed the back of his neck and nodded. "Ight, I can do that." I smiled. "I mean, at the end of the day, we are just friends, if I ever wanted to take it beyond friendship, my relationship with August would have to be completely over, like we both decided to really call it quits and move on...but it's not, so I know making you wait for me to decide is kind of unfair, so In the meantime, I don't mind if you date other women, I mean, we aren't really anything anyways."

He nodded. "Ight, I'll give you that."

"Which one do you want?" I looked up at all the stuffed animals, lined up on the wall, trying to decide which one I wanted to take with me. "That one." I pointed to a blue and white monkey, causing Sean to laugh. "Ight."

He picked up the small basketball and shot it, making it land in the hoop. "Score!!!"The man behind the counter yelled. He got down the stuffed animal for me and handed it to me. "Thank you." He fanned me off. "You welcome."

He held out his hand for me to grab, but I paused and just stared at it. "Oh right, my bad." He dropped his hand and motioned for me to walk with him.

"So you havin fun?" I nodded my head yes. "Yeah, I haven't been to a carnival in a while, so Im enjoying myself." "Good." He started.

"I wanted to ask you something." I lifted my brows, giving him my attention. "I wanted to know if you were busy tommrow." I shook my head. "No, why?"

"Me and my niggas might go to one of the water parks down here, and I wanted you to come." I smirked. "You want me to come out with a bunch of dudes?" He chuckled. "I mean, they bringing there girls, so you won't be the only one." I nodded. "Okay....sure."

I pulled into Augusts' driveway and quickly parked. I stepped out to the car and made my way up the stairs to his door. I knocked twice and stepped back, waiting for him to answer.

Once I heard the locks click, I smiled. "Hey ma." He pulled the door all the way open and leaned up agaisnt it. "Hey, is Aliyah ready?" He nodded his head yes. "Yeah, she's packing up her tea party stuff." I laughed.

"She made you play with her??" He chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, I couldn't say no." I smiled. "Aw, that's sweet." I pulled my bag up on my shoulder and shifted my weight to my right leg. "So how was your day?"

I nodded. "It was good, how was yours? I see you don't have your cane with you." He nodded. "Im trying to walk around without it, get my pimp walk back." I laughed.

"Of course, it's only right." We both smiled at one another. "....I'll drop Aliyah back this weekend, I know you only had one day with her and all." He nodded. "Why can't she stay again?"

I sighed. "She has a playdate with Amara tommorow, remember?" He nodded. "Oh right, right." "Ok, Im ready!" Aliyah walked out of the door, holding her bag. "Hey baby."

"Hi, can we get something to eat?" I lifted a brow and looked up at August. "...Daddy didn't feed you?" She shook her head no. "I don't like his cooking, so I didn't eat it." I laughed, while August shook his head.

"That's cold Li-Li, you do me so wrong." I grabbed her bag from her and motioned to the stairs. "Alright, I'll make you something when we get home." She nodded. "Thank god."

I looked back at August and smiled. "I'll call you." He nodded. "Alright." I was just about to walk down the steps, when Aliyah called me back. "Mommy." I turned around and gave her my attention.

"..Can daddy come back home this weekend? I wanted to do something with the both of you." I looked up at August and nodded. "Yeah sure, he can come." He smirked.
