2 WEEKS LATER

"Ow mommy!" I sighed as Aliyah tugged at my hands, while I brushed her hair. Today was her first day of school, and even though she was excited, I wasn't too happy about it. "Be still, Im almost done." She huffed a little an sat still. I pulled her hair into a high bun that sat on top of her head. It was her favorite hairstyle, but she hated getting her hair done.

"Okay, your all finished." She stood up from my lap and grabbed her backpack that was sitting in the corner. "Daddy made you a bowl of cereal, go downstairs and eat so we can leave on time." She nodded and made her way downstairs. I grabbed my camera off the dresser so I can get a few pictures of her before she leaves. I wasn't ready to drop her off to school this morning, but I knew I had to.

I walked downstairs into the kitchen to find the both of them eating a bowl of cereal. "What time is it babe?" I looked down at my watch and sighed. "It's nine o'clock." He nodded. "Your flight leaves at 10 right?" "Yeah." He stood up from his seat and placed his bowl in the sink.

"Im finished." Aliyah climbed out of her seat and grabbed her bowl, placing it in the sink. "Okay, okay, put your backpack on so I can get a picture of you." She picked her bag up and posed for the first picture. August chuckled. "Tyra ain't got nothin on you Li-Li." He said with a smile.

Tears filled my eyes as I took the first picture of her. "Smile for mommy." I said trying to fight back the tears. Her smile made me melt immediately. She was getting so big and I hated it. I wish I could rewind time and go back to when I first had her.

"Okay, now give me some attitude." August said with a smirk. After she got into her next pose, I took another picture of her. "Alright, now give me some sass." I chuckled and watched as Aliyah got into all her different poses, following Augusts' instructions.

"Can I stop now?" She asked growing impatient. I laughed and nodded. "Okay fine." August held out his hand and gave her a high five. "You ready for school?" She nodded. "That's my princess." She adjusted her bag on her shoulders and frowned. "Daddy?" He lifted his brows, giving her his attention.

"....Do you have to leave?" He sighed and crouched down to her level. "Yeah I do, I thought we talked about this munchkin." "I know...Im gunna miss you." He smirked and pulled her into a tight hug. "Im gunna miss you way more, trust me. Your gunna be a good girl for mommy right?" She nodded.

"I'll call you everyday before bed, and Im coming back home for your bithday party." She smiled. "But that's far from now." He chuckled. "It's only a month, it's not that far." She huffed. "Okay." I sat the camera down and grabbed my keys off the counter. "We have to go before the both of you are late." I grabbed Aliyah's hand and led her to the car, while August grabbed all of his bags and placed them in the trunk.

*********************

We pulled into one of the empty parking spaces at Aliyah's school. I unbuckled my seatbelt and stepped out of the car, waiting for August to get her out. He placed her up on his chest and grabbed her small backpack. I held the school door open for them, getting slightly emotional in the process. Aliyah's been with me everyday for the past five years, and now that she has to start school, I wasn't ready. I hated being seperated from her, even from a little while. I just got adjusted to her spending the night with Amara.

"What room is she in?" I looked down at papers the school sent me and sighed. "104." August nodded as we walked down the hallway silent. I looked at the other mother's saying goodbye to there sons or daughters, damn near crying their eyes at. Other's were either leaving out, or staring at August and I, whispering.

When we got to the room 104, I took a deep breath and let it out slowly, trying to fight the tears that were forming all over again. August placed her to the ground, handing her her backpack in the process. "Ight, you ready?" She nodded. He crouched down to her level and gave her a hug. "Give daddy a kiss." She smiled and kissed him. "You be good in school and you be good at home, ight?" She nodded. "Love you."

"Love you too daddy." He stood up straight and took a deep breath. I looked down at her, with a small smile on my face. "I'll see you in a few hours, okay?" She grabbed a hold of my legs, hugging them. "I'll see you later, don't cry mommy." I chuckled and nodded, while a tear rolled down my cheek. I bent over and kissed her forehead. "Go ahead and go inside." She let go of my leg and ran inside the classroom.

I watched her run towards the group of kids who were all sitting down on a mat playing with one another. I smiled to myself, when August placed a hand on my shoulder. "I gotta go bae." I sighed and nodded. "Alright, let's go."

I climbed back into the passenger seat, waiting for him to get in the car. I wiped my eyes, trying to fix my makeup, even though I knew I was gunna cry all over again once August left me.

"What time is it?" He asked sitting in the driver seat. I looked down at my phone to check the time. "9:30." He nodded, starting up the car. "You think Liyah's gunna be okay? Do you think she'll need anything?" He chuckled. "Im sure she'll be good ma, you packed her bookbag with everything, hell, you put stuff in there that she ain't even gon need." I frowned. "No I didn't."

He quickly looked over at me, before placing his eyes back on the road. "Really? What does a five year old need with a protracter??" We both chuckled. "Whatever, I just wanted to make sure she had everything she needed. "Trust me you did."

He laughed to himself. ".....So you and Ryelle have seperate tour buses...right?" He nodded. "Yeah of course baby." I nodded. ".....And your not flying together, right?" He frowned and looked over at me. "You straight? I thought you said you liked Ryelle." I shook my head. "I never said I liked her, I said she didn't seem too bad." He chuckled. "Same difference."

He placed his free hand on my thigh, keeping his eyes on the road. "Chill out, Ion know what's gotten into you, but you haven't been so worried like this in years." I nodded in agreement. "Yeah, well that's because you've never been on tour with a female." He stopped at a red light and looked over at me. "You see that?" He motioned to the ring on my finger.

"The day I gave you that, was the day when all the games were over, stop trippin. You know I love you and Liyah more than anything, my player days are far gone ma." I cracked a small smile and leaned back into my seat.

****************

I took a deep breath and watched as August pulled all of his bags out of the trunk, while the papparazzi took as many pictures as possible. As he pulled the last bag out, I got out of the car, hitting the locks behind me. "You need some help with that?" He shook his head. "Nah, I got it bae." He grabbed my hand and lead me inside the airport.

I held onto his hand tightly, trying to enjoy how our hands fit perfectly together. I pushed my shades closer to my face, getting myself ready TMZ and the other papparazzi to follow us all the way to his portal. I've been dealing with this kind of publicity for five years now, and I still haven't gotten use to it. Everytime I was near a camera, it made me nervous, and August knew that. He pulled me closer to him and ignored the cameras just like I did.

I walked up to his portal, not ready for this moment whatsoever. He handed the lady his ticket and turned to me. "You gotta let my hand go now ma." I sighed and slowly slipped my hand out of his. He lifted my chin up and smirked. "Don't be sad ight? I'll be back to see you and Aliyah in a month." I sighed. "I know, I just don't want you to go."

He took a deep breath and nodded. "I wish y'all both could come on the road with me, but we both agreed to let Aliyah have a normal childhood and go to school like the other kids." I nodded in agreement. "I know, im just gunna miss you." I cracked a small smile, while my eyes filled with tears. "Ima miss you too." He kissed me on my forehead and then kissed my lips.

"I'll call you when I land." I nodded and wiped my eyes. "Love you." "Love you more." I watched him walk into the portal until he disappered. I hated the first day he leaves because I get super depressed, and I usally have Liyah around to cheer me up, but now that she's gone too, Im just sad all the way around.

"Girl stop being a debby downer, you should be glad yo man is gone." Ellis smirked at me and took a sip of his drink. "And why should she be glad?" Kerri asked with a frown. "Because, all she do is play wifey and mommy, you need a break child." I sighed. "Liyah is still here, so im still a mother."

He fanned me off. "I know, but she ain't here right now, and neither is August, you need to enjoy the times like these, cause they rarely happen anymore." I sighed again, knowing he was right.

"Alright, Alright, so what are the plans for tonight?" "That depends." Ellis started. "What times does mommy have to be home?" Kerri and I chuckled. "Mommy doesn't have to be home early, Aliyah's over Stasia's." Kerri frowned.

"On a Monday night? I thought today was Liyah's first day of school?" I nodded. "It was, but Amara and Aliyah go to the same school, so Stasia will picked them up today." Ellis nodded. "Good, our night can officially be turnt."

AUGUST P.O.V.

I sat my last bag on the bed, trying to figure out where everything on this bus goes. I heard a slight knock at the door, and made my out there to see who it was. I swung open my door and smiled once I seen Ryelle standing there.

"Wassup?" She smirked. "Hey, I just came over to ask you what time is the show tonight?" "You go on at 10, and then it's my turn." She nodded. "Okay thanks....these tour buses are huge huh??" She peeked inside the bus and smiled. "I been doin this for so long, they seemed small to me." She chuckled. "Oh right, your's is way bigger than mine though." She took a step up and froze.

"You good?" She nodded. "...You can come inside if you want." She frowned. "You sure??" I chuckled. "Yeah of course Im sure, just come in." I stepped to the side and motioned for her to come in. She was slightly hesistant at first, but she stepped up the rest of the steps and looked around my bus.

"Damn it's nice in here." She ran her hand along the counter tops and turned to me. "Are you excited for your first show tonight?" She took a deep breath and released it slowly. "Yeah, im really nervous though, it's sold out, so I know it's going to be a million people out there." I smirked.

"Yeah it is, but nerves are normal, I still get nervous." She gave me a stale face. "Sure you do." "Nah, I do forreal ma, nerves never go away, it's apart of performing." She nodded slowly. "Good to know." A knock at the door, caused the both of us to turn around.

"We need to get on the road." My driver said leaning up agaisnt the door. I nodded and turned to Ryelle. "I guess that's my que." She shot me a small before walking out.

SIMONE P.O.V.

I danced with Kerri as the both of us watched Ellis twerk on some guy. I couldn't control my laughs and neither could Kerri. "He's really working him huh?" She said over the loud music. I nodded my head in agreement. " He really is, I hope he don't hurt the poor man."

I laughed again and looked down over the balcony, at the rest of the people on the first floor of the club. I waved at a few people who waved at me, Im guessing they knew I was Augusts' wife.

I stepped back from the balcony and continued to dance with Kerri. It's been while since all of us had a night like this and it was much needed.

****

"We need more night like this." Ellis said collapsing back into one of the foam seats. "We do, tonight was fun." I nodded. "It was, I miss our fun times like these." Ellis smirked. "Oh Ms.Debby Downer, you had fun?" I sucked my teeth and rolled my eyes. "Yes, I did, thank you."

"Good, cause I got a propostion for y'all hoes." Kerri and I frowned. "..What??" "I wanna go speed dating." I laughed. "What?? Hell no!" "Why not??" Ellis whined.

"Okay for one, Im married & Two, Kerri is still with Jason. Your the only single one." He nodded. "Exactly, that's why y'all should do this for me, Im tired of being the one without a man." I shook my head. "I don't know E, what the hell are me and Kerri gunna be doing at a gay speed dating club??"

He smacked his lips together. "Just talk to some guys, while Im working my magic, it ain't like they gon hit on yo ass." I looked over at Kerri, who looked just as unsure as I did.

"We'll think about it." Ellis fanned me off. "Fine, I'll take it." I chuckled and pulled my phone out my bag. "I gotta go y'all, it's time for me to be mommy again." Kerri sighed. "Alright, I'll see you at work." I gave both of them a hug before security escorted me out of the club and to my car.

AUGUST P.O.V.

"You did great for your first time out there." She smiled as she pulled her headphone out of her ear. "Thanks, goodluck." She smiled and me quickly and went back off towards her dressing room. I stood behind the open curtain, while the crowd got hype for me. I waited until my introduction was finished before stepping onto the stage, taking in all the screams and cheers.

SIMONE P.O.V.

I pulled into Stasia's driveway and quickly made my way to the front door. Since I didn't want to wake anyone up, I texted Stasia letting her know I was at the front door. I shifted my weight onto one foot, while I waited for the door to open.

Once I heard the locks click, I stood up straight. "Hey Simi." She whispered. I pulled her into a quick hug and stepped inside. "Hey." She pulled her robe closer to her and yawned. "Aliyah knocked out like a hour ago, she's in the room, I'll get her." I nodded and watched her walk off in the direction of Amara's room.

I glanced down at my phone, checking the time, wondering if August was still on stage or not. I knews sometimes his segments ran over the usual time, so not every not I got a call from him. I sighed and dropped my phone in my bag.

I looked back up to see Aliyah asleep on Stasia's shoulder, with her holding her bookbag. I smiled and hed out my hands for the bag, and thencarefully placing her on my shoulder, trying not to wake her. "Thanks for letting her stay over, I'll call you in the morning." I whispered. She smiled and nodded, closing the door behind me as I left.

I placed Aliyah in the backseat of the car, and began my drive home. I was suprised she hadn't woken up due to all the movement, but I knew her. Nine times out of ten, she would be awake by the time I try to get her in bed. I looked at her through my mirror and smiled to myself. She slept just like August, wild and all.

*********

I dropped Aliyah's bookbag in the corner and layed her in the bed. I pulled her shoes off and changed her into her pajamas. "Mommy?" She asked blinking her eyes. "Hey baby." I said softly. I pulled her covers back and placed her in the bed.

"When is daddy gunna call?" I sighed as I tucked Aliyah in under her covers. "I don't know baby, whenever he's finished working." She laid back on her pillow and sighed. "He said he would call before bedtime." I nodded. "I know, but when he's on stage there's nothing he can do, you know he would call if he could." She rolled over in bed, facing me.

"I know.....goodnight mommy." I smiled and kissed her forehead. "Goodnight." I turned off her lamp and made my way into my bedroom.

*************

I rolled over in bed, once I heard the muffled vibration coming from under my pillow. I pulled my phone out and squinted at the screen, to see August calling me. I sat straight up and bed and answered.

ME: "Hello?"

AUGUST: "My bad baby, you was sleep?"

I slightly chuckled.

ME: "I was, but wassup? How was your first show?"

AUGUST: "It was good, Im just now getting to my hotel room."

I glanced over at the clock on the nightstand that read 12:08.

ME: "Long day huh?"

He chuckled.

AUGUST: "Yeah, Im tired as hell."

ME: "Well get some rest, your gunna need it. Im glad you called me though."

AUGUST: "You know I gotta hear your voice before I knockout."

I smiled to myself.

AUGUST: "How's Li-Li?"

ME: "She's okay, she was waiting for you too call her before bed."

AUGUST: "Damn, I didn't even get off stage in time, Im sorry ma."

ME: "It's okay, I explained it to her.

AUGUST: "Well tell her Im sorry, and that I'll try my best to call on time."

ME: "I will."

AUGUST: "Ight well Im bouta hit these sheets, I'll call you tommorow ma."

I sighed.

ME: "Alright, I love you."

AUGUST: "Love you too."

I kept the phone to my ear, until he hung up first. I hated our goodbyes, in person and over the phone. This was going to be the hardest four months of my life.
