I reached my hand into the mailbox and pulled out all the components. I sighed and turned back to walk inside the house, shuffling through all the mail. I skipped all the ones with Augusts' name on it and looked for the one's addressed for me. I stepped back into the house and closed the door behind me.

I took a seat on the couch and sighed once I seen a letter from the Police department stationed in Atlanta. I knew they said they would send me information about my anger management classes, but I didn't think it would be this soon.

I ripped open the envelope and began to read the letter. I skimmed through all the unimportant stuff and stopped when I got to all the information about the class, when I would be going and what days I would be going. "Tuesday's and Fridays from 2 to 3." I said to myself.

"Mommy!!" I could hear Aliyah's feet running down the steps to the living room. I quickly hid the letter under one of the pillows and waited for her arrival. She pulled herself up on my lap and looked at me. "When is daddy coming home?" I sighed. "I don't know munchkin." She huffed.

"Well can you ask him? I really miss him." I nodded my head. "I'll ask him, okay? Go upstairs and get the stuff for your hair, so I can do it for school this week." She sighed and slipped off my lap, making her way back upstairs to her room.

Even though I knew August probably wouldn't be coming back since I kicked him out and all, I needed to find away to tell her, and now wasn't the time. I leaned back into the couch and took a deep breath. With everything going on right now, I needed some type of stress reliever. I pulled out my phone and scrolled through my contacts, stopping on his name.

"Should I call him?" I said lowly. I bit down on my bottom lip and hit the call button. I sat up straight and waited for him to answer.

SEAN: "You took long enough."

I chuckled.

ME: "Do you even know who this is?"

SEAN: "It's Simone from the other night right?"

I smirked.

ME: "Yeah it is, what if it wasn't me though?"

SEAN: "Then I would have sounded like a asshole answering the phone like that."

I laughed.

ME: "True."

SEAN: "So wassup? Im assuming you called cause you miss me."

ME: "Miss you? No, I was calling to see what you were doing tommorow afternoon."

SEAN: "My afternoon is free, wassup?"

I bit down on my bottom lip and paused.

ME: "Do you want to come over and hang out for a little while? You could bring your niece along since my daughter will be here, and they can have a playdate."

SEAN: "Ight, yeah sure, text me the time and I'll come over."

I smiled.

ME: "Alright, I'll talk to you later."

I hung up the phone just in time for Aliyah to be making her way back downstairs with her hair suppies in her hand. "Okay, I got the stuff." I smiled and patted the space in between my legs. "Okay, come sit." She sat right in between my legs and handed my the comb and brush.

"I invitied your friend Tia over tommorow." I undid her messy bun and parted her hair. "You did? She's coming over??" I slightly chuckled. "Yeah she is, she's coming over to play with you." She nodded her head. "Okay."

*************************

"Be still Li-Li, I almost done." I said in a sigh. She squirmed back in forth, wanting me to be finished with her hair. "But it hurts." I sighed and held onto her, making her stay still. "Just be still, Im almost finished." Just then, I heard the front door close, signaling someone was here.

"Is that daddy?" She asked with excitement in her voice. I quickly pulled her hair into a side ponytail, since she was trying to get up and run out to the front door. I stood up from my seat and watched her race towards the front of the house.

"Daddy!!!" I heard her yell. I took a deep breath and walked out to the front to see Aliyah on his shoulders. "Mommy, daddy's home!!" I let out a small fake smile. "I know, I see." He looked at me and slightly smiled. "Hey." I smiled back. "Hey.."

"Aren't you guys gunna kiss each other?" Aliyah asked in a laugh. I chuckled and shook my head while August placed her on her feet. "I thought you said kissing was gross?" Aliyah nodded. "It is, that's why I was asking." August and I both laughed at her. "Did mommy tell you I started ballet?"

August shook his head no. "No, I didn't know that, do you like it?" She nodded. "Yeah, mommy got me a glitter tutu, and everyone likes it." He smirked. "That's wassup, you got in your room?" She nodded. "Im gunna put it on and show you what I learned." August nodded. "Ight princess." She turned on her heels and ran up the steps as fast as she could to get to her room.

I looked at August and turned around, going up the steps, with him following right behind me. I stepped into our bedroom and turned around, knowing he followed me in here. Once he closed the door behind himself, I folded my arms across my chest and stared him in the face.

"What are you doing here?" He sighed, and placed the bags he was carrying down. "I came home, this is my house."

"And I specifically remember telling you not to come back to this house." He opened his mouth to speak, but the sound of Aliyah's voice stopped him. "Okay, Im ready." He turned and smiled at her. "Ight, where you wanna show me your moves at?"

"The living room!" He chuckled and nodded his head. "Okay, give me a minute." She ran off into the living room, waiting for him. "...You still want me to leave?" He asked lowly. I slightly rolled my eyes and snatched his bags out of his hands. "Just go in there." He walked passed me and made his way into the living room.

*********************************

I wiped the beads of sweat off my forehead as took Augusts' load of laundry out of the dryer. He had been here for about two hours playing and talking with Aliyah. After a good fifteen minutes of watching them together, I couldn't take it anymore. I couldn't sit there and stare at August, knowing what's going on between us.

So,I got left them in the living room, and went into the laundry room to wash his clothes like I did after every tour. Even though I was tired of lying to Aliyah, I wanted to tell her in a careful way, so until then, I had to keep doing my usual routine so she wouldn't get suspicious.

I placed his clothes in the bin and balanced it on my hip, as I shut the dryer door. "Mommy!!" I sighed once I heard Aliyah calling for me. I walked out of the laundry room and quickly made my way out to the living room.

"Yes?" She looked up from the game she was playing and smiled at me. "What's for dinner?" I chuckled. "Im not sure yet, Im deciding between spaghetti or baked chicken."

"Spaghetti!!" She semi-yelled. "Alright, let me finish with daddy's clothes and I'll start cooking." "I can fold my clothes." August said.

I lifted a brow anf tried not to show my apparent attitude. "Okay, here you go." I sat the bin infront of him and turned on my heels, making my way into the kitchen. "You gunna help me fold my clothes?" He asked Aliyah.

I opened up the fridge and pulled out everything I would need to make dinner tonight. "Sure." She responded.

******************

"What time is Tia coming over tommorow?" Aliyah asked as she twirled noodles onto her fork. "Um, I think around 12." She nodded. "Tia is my friend from ballet class." She said to August, so he wouldn't feel left out from the conversation. "Oh ight." He nodded.

"Yeah, she told me her mom likes your music." August chuckled. "Is that right?" She nodded.

I stood up from my sit and grabbed August and I's plate off the table. "You almost done baby?" She nodded as she stuffed the rest of her noddles on her plate into her mouth. "All done." I smirked and grabbed her plate, sitting everything in the sink.

"Ight, it's time for you to hit the sheets munchkin." August said picking her up. "But it's only 9 o'clock." He chuckled. "Exactly, we're gunna get you cleaned up and into your pajamas so you can go to bed." She sighed. "Can I stay up later when Im older?"

August and I slightly laughed. "Yeah you can." A soft smiled formed on her face. "Okay fair enough, night night mommy." I chuckled. "Night baby." I kissed her forehead and watched August carry her upstairs to her bedroom.

**********

"Aliyah's asleep." I turned from my side of the bed and looked over at August. "Okay....so are you leaving now?" He sighed and ignored me. "I know you heard me, are you leaving??" He sucked his teeth, getting annoyed with me. "And why you want me to leave??" I frowned.

"Didn't I kick you out before? I clearly remember telling you to leave after I saw them pictures of you and Ryelle bowling, when you were suppose to be at counseling with me." He sighed again. "And." I started. "Let's not mention how she was up in your hotel room the other night."

"Ain't nothing happen." I shrugged my shoulders. "Maybe not that night, she was still in your hotel room after getting her ass beat, what type of sense does that make?" He was silent. "And she had her shirt unbuttoned, it's obvious that she has no respect for our marriage, and neither do you, so get out, you can come back tommorow and get your clothes."

"And what you gon tell Li-Li?" "The truth." I started. "She deserves to know what's going on." He looked me up and down before stepping into out closet, packing a overnight bag.
