"So what did you need to talk about?" I kicked my feet up on the couch as Stasia sat next to me. She took a deep breath before speaking. "It's about Rich." I rested my head on my hand and frowned. "Is everything ok? Did something happen?" She shook her head no.

"Not really, we've just haven't been getting along lately, and Im not sure what to do about it." "Are you guys fighting?" She nodded. "Yeah, were just arguing more than usual, and Im sick of it." I nodded. "I've been sitting around for the past six years, raising our daughter, and playing wifey , and were still not married." I sighed, feeling kind of bad for her.

"Have you mentioned marriage to him at all?" She nodded. "Of course I have, but he always says, when the time is right, he'll ask me, but who knows when that'll be?" "Well maybe you need to sit him down and let him know how you feel, your tired of waiting around for a ring, and he needs to know."

She sighed. "I know, it's just everytime we try to have a civil conversation, it ends up being a screaming match, and I don't like doing all of that with Amara in the house." I sat back in my seat, silent. Have you thought about couples counseling?" She shook her head no. "No, and even if I didn consider doing that, he'll probably be to busy to attend." I smacked my lips together.

"If he's to busy to try and fix his relationship with the woman he claims he loves, then you can see where you stand in his life." She sighed and threw her head back on the couch. "I hate all of this Simi, I swear I do." "I know, and trust me, I feel your pain." She looked over at me and frowned. "No you don't, you have the perfect life." I sighed and shook my head. "No I don't."

"Really? You have a man that's madly in love with you and gave you a ring. Y'all living up in this huge ass mansion, with your adorable daughter, that I just love." I chuckled. "You expanded your business, and you've started styling celebrities, like you always wanted too, so please, your life is perfect." I cracked a small smile and shook my head.

"August and I still have our problems, believe me. But, you need to look at what you have going on." She was silent. "You have my beautiful niece Amara, your with a man that loves you, and comes home to you every night, and you guys' house is just as beautiful, so stop." She sighed and shook her head. "What if I chose the wrong man to be with?"

"Don't say that." I could see the tears forming in her eyes. "No really Simi, I mean I love Rich and all don't get me wrong, but sometimes I wonder if Im just with him because we have Amara." I sighed. "Your with him because you love him, that's why you want to marry him." She nodded. "Yeah....but sometimes love isn't enough." I frowned. "What are you saying?" She opened her mouth to speak, but the sound of the sliding glass door opening, stopped her.

I looked over to see Aliyah and Amara running over to us. She grabbed my leg and started to smile at me. "Yes?" I asked with a smirk. "Can we get icecream?" I chuckled and looked over at Stasia, who was smiling as well. "Where from?" She looked up at the ceiling, thinking. "Dip and Dots." I laughed. "It's Dippin Dots baby." She nodded. "That's what I said mommy, Dip and Dots."

Stasia and I giggled. "Okay, but you guys are gunna have to wait, Auntie Stasia and I are talking." They both sighed. "No, it's okay Simone, I'll take them." Stasia stood up from the couch and grabbed her purse. "Can we stop at Toys R Us too mommy?" Amara asked pulling on Stasia's leggings. She took a deep breath and nodded. "Yeah sure." She turned to me and smirked. "I'll drop Aliyah home in a hour and a half." I nodded. "Alright, have fun." I smiled and watched them leave.

*******************

A huge smile spread across my face once I heard August at the front door. I stood up from the couch and made my way to the door, meeting him just in time. "Hey baby." I pecked his lips and grabbed his bag from off his shoulder.

"How'd the meeting go?" August nodded. "It went good, everything is in place." "That's good...do you know who's opening up for you this time?" He nodded. "Yeah, her name is Ryelle." I lifted a brow. "Her?" He chuckled. "Yeah, you good?" I folded my arms across my chest. "I thought we agreed that only guys can go on tour with you." He nodded. "We did, but I had no control over it this time, it was the label's decision." I was silent.

"You ain't trippin are you?" I sighed. "I would be lying if I said it didn't make me slightly uncomfortable." He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into him. "Chill, it ain't even all that serious, this is work ma, nothing more and nothing less." I nodded. "If you say so."

"Im forreal, look, everybody from the tour is going out tommorow night, for this celebration thing, Ryelle will be there and you should take this time to meet her." I bit down on my bottom lip. "Alright, I will." He smiled and kissed my cheek. "Ight cool."

He let go of my waist and smiled. "Where my baby at?" "She went out for icecream with Stasia and Amara, she should be back soon." He smirked. "Damn, then we don't got alot of time." I chuckled. "For what?" He picked me up by my ass and carried me into the bedroom.

THE NEXT DAY

"Wait, so he's going on tour with a female?" Ellis asked, taking a seat up on the front desk. I looked back at one of the couches to see Aliyah coloring, minding her own business. "Yeah, and can you be a little bit more quiet? I don't want Aliyah to hear us."

"My bad." He mumbled. "So who's the chick, do you know?" Kerri asked. I shook my head. "I never heard of her, he said her name was Ryelle or something like that." Kerri frowned. "I never heard of her either."

"Me either, but about to find out." Ellis smirked and pulled out his phone. "What are you doing?" "Im about to google this hoe, what you think." Kerri chuckled. "That's smart."

He quickly typed something into his phone, and lifted a brow. "What is it?" He shook his head. "Damn Simone, she cute." I snatched the phone out of his hands and looked down at the screen. "She's alright." Ellis sucked his teeth. "Don't be actin salty, give the girl her props." Kerri looked over my shoulder at the screen. "Yeah she is kind of cute Simone." I handed Ellis his phone and rolled my eyes. "Whatever, it doesn't matter how cute she is, August knows better than to try me like that, plus she nine years younger than him.

Ellis nodded. "Exactly, you know how mean get when there's fresh meat around, they don't know how to act." I smacked my lips together. "He wouldn't do anything.." Ellis lifted a brow. "And what about her? You think she won't try something on him?" I was silent. "I don't know, I don't put anything passed any of these girls....but Im meeting her tonight and I plan on checking her." Ellis smirked. "Forreal? Damn I like this new Simone."

*************

"You ready ma?" I closed the clasp on my earring, and quickly fixed my hair in the mirror. "Yeah Im ready, Im coming down now." I grabbed my purse and made my way downstairs, where August was waiting for me at the bottom of our staircase. "Mmm, look at you." I smiled and shook my head. "Don't start, were about to leave." He grabbed my hand and lead me to the front door.

Once we made it to the car, I climbed in the passenger side of his Hummer, and waited for him to get in."I know how you can be, don't be tryna scare the damn girl tonight, save all them crazy ass rules you have." I sucked my teeth. "Whatever, Im just going to talk to her, and get to know her like you said." He nodded. "Alright, good." He backed out the driveway, and through the gates, making his way down the street.

"So how long is this party gunna be?" He shrugged and chuckled. "Ion know, a few hours most likely, you can't hang no more??" I smirked. "No, Im on mommy hours now, Im not used to be up all through the night like you are." He rubbed his chin and nodded. "Ight, whenever you start feeling tired, we can leave." "Okay." I smiled and looked out the window, enjoying the rest of the ride to the club.

**************

We pulled up to the club entrance and stopped. I took a deep breath once I heard the cameras flashing and people calling out Augusts' name. I've been dealing with this for five years and Im still not used to it, and neither is Aliyah. Sometimes these papparazzi can be ruthless and I couldn't take it."Lets just get out and get inside." August said with half a smirk. "I know this makes you uncomfortable." I nodded. I stepped out the car and straightned out my dress, while August met me have way around the car, grabbing my hand in the process. I kept my head low, while he basically led me inside.

Once we made it inside, I exhaled happy that the worse part of the night was over. The bouncer escorted us up to the VIP section that was reserved for the party tonight. I held onto the bottom of my dress, while August and I walked hand in hand up the stairs.

Once we made it all the way up to the second floor, the bouncer closed the ropes and stood infront of them. "Aug!" We both looked over to the right to see his manager standing at one of the couches, with a drink in his hand. We made our way over there to him and a few other people. "Wassup man." They gave each other a half hug, half handshake that always made me laugh.

"Oh I see wifey here." I smiled at his manager and gave him a hug. "Hey Chris." I took a seat on the couch and poured me a drink from one of the million bottles that were spread out on the table. "Where everybody at?" August asked looking around. Chris shrugged. "Everbody spread out when we got here, but some of the band members are up here, and Ryelle is at the bar." He pointed across the room, making my gaze go over ther automatically.

I sipped on my drink as I tried to makeout which girl was Ryelle. Once I spotted her long black hair, I knew it was her. "Let me introduce y'all." August stuck his hand out for me to take. I sat my glass down on the table, taking his hand in the process.

I pushed my hair over my shoulders as we walked over to the bar. August tapped her on the shoulder, causing her to spin around in her seat. Her face lit up as soon as she saw him. "August, hey." He let go of my hand and hugged her quickly. "You know we goin on tour soon, so I thought this would be a good time for you to meet my wife." She looked over at me and smiled. "Ryelle this is Simone, Simone, Ryelle." She held her hand out for me to shake.

"Well ima leave y'all two alone, and go talk to my boys." He placed his hand on my waist and kissed my cheek before walking away. I took a seat beside Ryelle, beyond ready for this conversation. "Im glad I finally got to meet you." She said with a smile. "Likewise."

"August talks about you all the time, and you guys' daughter." I cracked a small smile. "So I've heard." I looked back at August and smiled a little to myself.

"He tells everyone about you, I kinda feel like I know you." She said in a chuckle. I smirked. Her over niceness really threw me. I didn't know if she was being this nice just to get on my good side, or this was how she really was. "...Well August said you were really sweet, I guess he was right." She sipped her drink and smiled.

"Thanks." We sat there in silence for a few seconds. "So Ryelle." I spoke up. She turned to me giving me her full attention. "Not to come off rude, but I want to make something clear while were sitting here together." She nodded and turned her chair towards me.

"This is the first time August will be going on tour with a female, and I want to lay down some ground rules." She was silent. "No flirting, no touching, his tour bus is for him and ONLY him, and make sure you don't get sucked into any rumors involving him, because they will come sooner or later." "Don't take it personal, I just don't trust any female around my man." She nodded and chuckled.

"Of course, I get that one hundred percent. Im same way with my boyfriend." I lifted a brow and turned to her. "You have a boyfriend?" She nodded. "Everyone thinks Im single because he's hardly around, but Im taken." I nodded slowly. "How long have you and him been together?" She took a deep breath. "We've been on and off for the past three years, our situation is kind of complicated...especially now with my new found fame." She looked down in her lap and sighed.

"...Does he support what your doing?" She shook her head. "No, not really, hince why it's complicated." She let out a small smirk, trying to hide her pain. I sighed. "Well if he doesn't support what you love to do, then he isn't the one for you." She nodded. "August told me the same thing." I frowned. "Excuse me?"

"He's been giving me some advice here and there on my relationship, whenever I ask." I nodded slowly. "He said the same thing you said just now." "I see." I said lowly. "He gives me alot of good advice, he's really a great man, and I respect him, and your relationship." She smiled at me before finishing off her drink.

"Well I wish you the best of luck with you and your guy." She nodded. "Thanks, it was nice meeting you Simone." "You too." I cracked a small smile and walked away.

I took a seat beside August and he talked to eveyone around him. Ryelle didn't seem too bad, but something was telling me to keep a eye on her.

"You gon dance with me?" I smirked as he stood up and held his hand out for me to grab. I sat my purse on the couch as I slipped my hand in his. He turned me around and pulled my hips into him, as I began to dance on him.

For some reason, I felt Ryelle's eyes on us. I don't know if it was just me being paranoid, but I couldn't shake the feeling of her watching us together.

*************

"So what do you think of her?" He asked, keeping his eyes on the road. "She nice.....too nice." He chuckled. "Damn ma, you gon hate on the girl cause she's nice? That's just her personality." I rolled my eyes. "Nobody is that nice August, it comes off fake." He sighed. "I swear there ain't no winning with you, I brought you with me so you can get to know her a little, so you'll feel more comfortable about me leaving."

"I did get to know her, she told me all about her boyfriend problems." He smirked. "Oh she told you about that too huh?" I nodded. "Yeah. She also told me that you love helping her out with those problems too." He sighed. "She asks me for advice sometimes and I give it to her." I frowned. "There's nobody else that she can ask?" He looked over at me and frowned.

"You straight? Why you actin like that?" I pushed my hair over my shoulders and sat back in my seat. "Im not acting any kind of way." He chuckled. "Yeah ight sure. Look, she's 20 years old ma, and since Im a older guy she asks me my opinion on some things and that's it." I was silent.

"Ion know what you thinkin in that head of yours, but trust me, it ain't that. She a youngin, and she needs guidance, and since I had Aliyah, I been open to talkin to these girls, especially the ones without a father." I frowned. "She doesn't have a father?" He shook his head. "Or mother, she spent most of her life in foster care, until she got adopted at 15."

"Oh." I mumbled. He nodded. "Yeah, you should give her a chance, y'all have more in common than you think." I was silent for a second. "Well she's okay for now, ima keep my eyes on her though." He shook his head. "Ight, besides that, what did y'all talk about?" I bit down on my bottom lip, knowing that I couldn't tell him about me laying down the rules with her. I already promised him that I wouldn't say anything like that to her.

"Nothing, that was it. She told me that you talked about Aliyah and I alot." He smiled. "Damn, she ain't have to do me like that." I chuckled. "That's cute babe, as hard as you try to act, I know you have a soft spot for Aliyah and I." He sucked his teeth. "Stop using that word soft, but you know how it is." I laughed a little to myself at the fact that he wouldn't even say it.

"Are you gunna miss me?" I asked changing the topic. He smirked and looked over at me. "Yes, Im gunna miss you ma, you always asking me that, you just like hearing me say it huh?" I smirked. "Yeah." He shook his head and looked back at the road.
