DR. LEENDON PIERRE were getting ready to leave his clinic after a long busy day. Quien were already fell sleep on the couch he provided for her. Most the time she often came here after school, when her mother were busy working at her shop. Like today, Athena asked him to watched Quien for her.

He were just started to tidy up Quien's belongings when suddenly the door opened slightly and his handsome playboy bestfriend Donovan Ortega barged in. He met him during his college days. He was the heir of the hotel magnate in this city.

"Hey Man! How are you doing? What's the good air that brings you here?" Leendon greeted and smiled to his friend.

"Just dropping by to see you after your one month escapade." he playfully answered and patted his bestfriend shoulder.

"Hmm, seriously Donovan?" he mocked his friend. "Okey, just tell me what is it?" Leendon knew there's something beyond his surprise visit.

"Well, I need a place to stay just for a month to calm down." Donovan sighed while slouching on the chair that provided for the patients.

"A place to stay? Wait! wait! the last time I remember you're the heir of the hotel magnate. Unless your parents desowned you and left you with nothing." he seriously stared at his friend.

"No man! No! I just need a place that my parents couldn't find me. They want me to take over our business in instant. Man! I'm not yet ready. I'm still enjoying my freedom. Just a month, just only a month. Let me stay at your lake house." he pleadingly asked.

"Why don't you just buy your own hiding place?" Leendon suggested.

"If I do that, definitely they will find me." he wisely stated.

"Oh! great! Man I suggest, why don't you grow up? I think it's about time to start learning on how to run your own family business." Leendon hope that his friend miraculously change his mind.

"I will, but not yet!" he replied. "Please Bud, just one month. In that place I'm sure they couldn't find me."

"How sure that your parents won't find you there?" Leendon stated.

"Because I know that you name it to Athena. If my parents will search for me and they could't find me, I am sure they will come to you and search for me to all your properties. Since that lake house were already name on Athena. That means, it's a safest for my hiding place. Anyway, did you still have plan to tell her that you bought her a lake house? You already planned so many things with her? Man, Why don't you sweep her feet first before shaping any future plans with her! Take a little courage buddy! Win her heart and then marry her." Donovan factly stated.

"The truth, I'm already working on that. I'm just waiting for the right timing. I'm taking it slowly because I really don't want to compromise our friendship. Our friendship is very important to me. I don't want to lost her just because I'm crossing beyond our friendship. And one more thing, is Quien. I don't know if she will accept the idea of me and her mother having an affair. This child, dreaming to meet and to know her real father. One time she asked me if I know his father and she wants me to look for him." he smiled timidly to Donovan.

"Well! as I can see, Quien loves you and I think she will love the idea that you become her father. Look man, that child likes you so much. That child, like your own shadow that were sticking on you. She's everywhere with you. She copied you, idolized you. Look at her, it's kinda little weird to me. If you wear green shirt, she wear green dress. If you're in red she's in red too. You two, look like in that famous cartoon characters. You remember B1 and B2, in Bananas and pajamas?" Donovan laughed." Seriously Man, don't you realize that both mother and the daughter likes you so much? Tell me, for the past years? Was there any days that they aren't with you, well except the last month siminar abroad, but I bet there was no days that you wouldn't talk to them through phone. The three of you like a glue sticking together. My suggestion, move fast my friend. And the worst part would happened, if there's someone will snatched her from you and you can't do anything about it, because it's already become too late for you." Donovan shook his head.

"Your right man, I wouldn't like that to happened. I really need to move fast. I can't imagine how to live my life without them. I love Quien like my own daughter and Athena is now my world." he looked at Quien who were still sleeping soundly.

"You know man, you're really fitted being a family man. Earlier, when I came in I was so impressed to saw you like a father in action! The famous handsome dentist, the most eligible bachelor in this town, carrying a girly pink bag in his shoulder." Donovan laughed​ so hard mocking his friend.

"Is that so? Maybe I need to change my mind to lend that lake house for your hinding place. How about that my friend?" Leendon mocked back.

"Just kidding buddy." Donovan stopped laughing to his friend demeanor. "Just give me the key so I can get away from here. And have pity to that lovely little princess of yours, you keep her sleeping too long on that couch. It's kinda looks uncomfortable laying on there." he pointing his finger to the child who were sleeping soundly on the couch.

"Just a reminder playboy! Please remain the lake house clean when you leave. And please don't bring, any of your playmates. I wanted that house, clean. Means no condoms, no sex toys, no under wears are welcoming us when I bring them there. Is that clear Man?" he warned and tossed the key to Donovan.

"Copy my friend! Thanks buddy! I promise no hanky punky. I just really need a sanctuary while thinking about what I'm going to do with my life." he stood from his seat and walked in front of the sleeping child and looked down at her. "You know Leend, I just notice, she really look like you! Buddy, is there a thing that you were hiding from me? Like, Quien is your own daughter?" Donovan patted his shoulder and laughed​ while walking outside his clinic. "Bye buddy! don't forget, I want at the front row on your wedding day. So be a man with lot of courage, if you really want to have your so called dream family." he saluted to his best friend before he closed​ the door.

After Donovan went out of his office, Leendon sat back on his chair, thinking on what was Donovan told him. He's so scared of the idea, that Athena and Quien will be taken away from him. He won't settle for it, so with all his might he will made sure that they stayed together forever.

But, what if one day Lucas will come back? What if Athena still loves him? And what if, Quien still wants to be with her real father? That questions, those questions, he were so scared to knew the answers. So he needs to take an enermous action to get his dream family. After all, their happiness is always what he wanted for them. He knew he can give that happiness to them.
