After a month of pursuing Athena, she's still tough to her decision, she still doesn't want to take him back. Time run so fast, in a month they'll all go back to states.

"Bro, your phone keep on ringing. Are you okey, you're not in yourself lately." James knocked the table to took out Lucas from his deep thought. Lucas  invited him for a breakfast, he knew something to bothering his best friend, so he agreed to meet him to their hotel cafeteria. He wanted to decipher his best friend recently out of himself.

"Oh! I'm just thinking on how to knock down Athena's tough wall, she really giving me a hard time." Lucas replied and grabbed his cellphone on the table. "Yes, Claire... " he answered. "What, please come down, speak slowly and give me a complete details." he ordered and rigidly listened carefully to his secretary. Then, after five minutes he ended the call. "Buddy, I really need to go back to States, our new project had a massive accident." he sighed.

"God! how massive? Are there death involve.?" James asked worriedly.

"Thanks God, no more dead involve, but I have thirty people who admitted in the hospital and fifteen people are still trapped.

"What happen? Are your project engineers missed something so this was happened?" James asked curiously.

"No, there's a strong earthquake happened two hours ago. They don't got any warning from our government, so they were busy when the earthquake strick . I need to go back to state. I will call you as soon I reach our country." he stood immediately and tapped James's shoulder. "Keep your eyes to my family when I'm gone." he smiled at James before he turned to leave.

"I will, don't worry." James answered back while glaring his friend who strode fastly out of the cafeteria.

"Thanks buddy! I know you will." Lucas answered amd wave back to James.

"Shit!" James whispered. "What happen to me? Why I got nervous all of a sudden, hey Luke!" he called  but he noticed Lucas already left the cafeteria.

Athena walked back and forth inside her room. She  wonder why Lucas missed breakfast with them since yesterday. After Quien hand's accident, Lucas spend his days with them especially during breakfast.

And for that time being, Leendon and Lucas got more closer to each other. To their conversation, they both shared about their works, their hobbies and even their views and principles in life. They also discovered that they have lot in common. To their little time together, they created a new friendship.

"Where are you?" she silently asked herself while glaring her cellphone on the bedside table. "Do I have to call you?" she sadly sighed. "No... Athena, don't ever dare to call him." her mind strictly ordered but her heart is stubbornly stronger so before she can change her mind she hurriedly grabbed her cellphone, but she stopped when someone knocked her door.

"Athe, hurry up! Open this door." she heard Leendon calling her from the outside of her room.

"Coming!"she replied while striding toward the door. "What's the hurry? What happen Leend?" she asked as soon as she opened the door.

"We need to go back to U.S! Immediately." Hurry, pack your things, I help Quien pack her belongings." Leendon ordered and turned his back from her going to Quien's bedroom.

"Leend, what happen? You scared me. Please tell me." she asked curiously and she followed at Leendon.

"I'll explain it to you later, go pack your things,  please, we have a flight to catch on. Don't forget your medicine. Okey?" Leendon stopped in front of Quien's bedroom and looked at her pleadingly.

"Okey." she answered and smiled at him.

"Thanks beautiful." he pinched her nose​ before he went inside to Quien's bedroom.

After two hours, they were already on their way to the airport. Quien were busy playing with her Ipad at the backseat  while Athena keep fidgeting on her seat and sneaking glance at Leendon who was now driving. She knew there's something with this  sudden trip back home.

"I book our ticket to New York." Leendon spoke after his long silence.

"New York? What are we going to do in New York?" Athe asked with a little loud voice.

"Athe, lower your voice. I don't want Quien heared what we are going to talk. And I'm sure, you will agreed on me after you heard​ what I am going to tell you." he said seriously while grabbing her both hand that settled on her lap.

"Leend, you really scared me. Please tell me what was really happened?" she whispered, and looked at him nervously.

"Okey, Stay focus, I need you to relax. Promise me, you are not going to get panic. Remember, you're carrying a child in your body. It's not good to your current condition if you stress yourself. Don't worry, I am always here for you." he patted her hand.

"Okey, tell me what is it. " she said after she took a long deep breath.

"Yesterday, New York hit with a strong earhtquake. One of the construction site in New York that managed by WORLDCON collapsed, and more than fifty people are the victims. When Lucas heard the news he immediately flewn back to New York and go directly to the site. Sadly, when he arrived at the site, another after shocked happened while Lucas was busy helping to save his injured people. He got hit by a big block of debris on his head that coming from the other part of the wall. Now, he is currently admitted at the hospital, the good thing is he already out of danger, but the sad thing he i still unconscious​ until now. He also got a broken right shoulder and a broken right leg." Leendon breathed sadly and continued​ holding her hands to consoled her.

"Oh! God! How serious the damage? Why, he is still not awake? This must be bad, right? Leend? are you sure he already out of danger?" she whispered while trying to hold her tears that started to get out from the corner of her eyes.

"That's what his secretary told me when she called me earlier, so we need to get there to know his latest condition. So,in the meantime just relax yourself. Save your strength, you might needed​ that when we get there. Okey? " he looked at her eyes and slowly wipe the tears that slowly flows in her face.

"Okey, thank you so much Leend." she smile timidly to him.

"Your always welcome." he smiled back to her. "I also worried at him that's why I want to get there as soon as possible. This past month when we spent together, I learned to like him as a good friend, he is really not a bad guy just like what I thought of him. I go with you to also look for my new friend condition." he winked at her and laughed lightly.

After a several hours of agony, they safely landed at the New York Airport. They hurriedly walked out at the airport and suprisingly they meet by Lucas youngest brother Alex Montero and his secretary Claire. Alex wave at them while Claire walked towards them.

"Hello! Miss Sandoval. My name is Claire, I'm Mr. Montero secretary." she slightly bowed her head to Athe to express her greetings.

"Hi! Nice to meet you Claire." Athe smiled sweetly to her.

"Hello! You must be Dr. Leendon Pierre. How are you Sir?" she extended her hand to shook hand with him.

"Nice to meet you too Miss Claire, thank you so much, for informing us Lucas condition." he smiles and shook hand with her.

"Much welcome Doctor, but I'm just following Mr Alex Montero order to rely the news." Claire smiled back to him. "Oh! you must be Quien?" she bend slightly in front of Quien and shook hand with her.

"Hello too Miss Claire?" Quien surprisingly hugged her.

"Oh! You're​ so sweet." Claire hugged back.

"Hello everybody! How's your flight?" Alex suddenly greeted them all.

"Alex!" Athena hurriedly walked in front of him. "How's Lucas?" she whispered nervously while she gave him a signal to don't tell her daughter about Lucas.

"Oh! I understand." he replied. "The doctors said that he was already out of danger, but they need a further examination about his condition especially he's still unconcious for over twenty four hours. But dont worry he's on the hand of the best doctors in the country." he said kindly and suddenly hugged her tight. "I know he feel great if you're​ the first one he's going see when he woke up." he hold her shoulders and smiled at her. "I guess you're tired, so let me accompany you to your hotel." Alex smiled to them and walked toward Claire. "Lets go baby!" he instantly grabbed Claire right hand and kissed his niece forehead before he turned  back toward the parking lot.

"Mr. Montero! Sir! Get off your dirty hand away from me, please?" Claire warned him while struggling from his hold.

"Everyone, please follow us." he winked at Leendon and Athena while he salute to his niece before he strode toward the parking lot, while still tightly holding Claire right hand.

Athena and Leendon stared each other, to Alex showing a public of affection toward Lucas beautiful secretary, while Quien giggled to her Uncle playful stunt.

"He is fast, certainly a playful kind of guy." Athena whispered to Leendon.

"Absolutely!" Leendon replied. "But definitely, he luckily find his match. Surely, Claire is the pain in his ass!" Leendon laughed.

"Really?" Athe asked unbelieveably.

"Really..." Leendon positively answered while he encourage her to follow them. "Come Princess." he said and picked Quien and carried her on his arms.
