Three A.M my a*s.

It was four fifteen in the morning and there was no sight of Lucas anywhere.

Right after he left I dashed to his room and fixed his door while my parents got ready for bed.

I grabbed the tool box and quickly tied my hair up and started fixing the door.

The only reason I knew how to fix a door was cause of my best friend.

Tyler.

Ironically, I had broken down his door the exact same way a few years ago. So he sat me down and taught me how to fix his door —it was quite complicated I'm not gonna lie so I was really impressed when Tyler knew how to fix a door. He told me that his dad learned it in military school and in turn— taught him.

To really get a gist of it, Tyler made me knock down his bedroom door a couple of times and fix it, boy was Mrs Banerjee mad.

I smiled back at the memory as I laid on my bed, facing the ceiling. I hadn't planned on sleeping till Lucas came home safely and I'm not gonna lie —I was starting to get tired.

I felt my eyes droop slowly and eventually they closed for good— that is until I heard something breaking and a harsh thump on the ground harshly followed by groans of agony in the back yard.

I jolted up on my bed and straight up. "What the f*ck..." I muttered under my breath as I was fully awake now.

I jumped up from my bed and scrambled to my window and opened it as I put one feet in and hoisted myself on my roof.

I slowly yet carefully scrambled to the corner of my roof and looked down my roof see a body that was lying down on its back, making me widen my eyes.

I pinched my eyes to get a clearer look.

It was a dead body!

"Holy f*cking sh*t!" I freaked out when the body opened it's eyes and look at me with its hazel eyes that were a carbon copy of mine with a lazy smile.

"Hi El!" Lucas slurred loudly as he flashed me a goofy grin.

He tried to climb up the tree only to fall down on his arse.

"I'm coming up there! H-hold on!" He giggled as he tried to climb up the tree again only to fall back on his arse again.

"Damn the tree is allergic to hot guys..." he murmured as he stood up and rubbed his a*s. "But I wouldn't blame it— I mean, just look at me! I'm dashingly hot!" He grinned and tilted his head to the side cockily.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "Okay Flynn Rider."

He ignored me and tried to climb the tree again but this time he didn't manage to fall and actually grasped one of his hands on the brick of the roof.

"Mind giving me a hand babe?" He grinned while holding onto to the roof for his life.

I furrowed my eyebrows and scrunched my face up in both disgust and confusion. "Babe?"

"Isn't that what cliché older brothers call their sister in fanfics or in sibling stories?" He asked, still waiting patiently for me to give him a hand.

I walked over to the edge and grabbed his hand, trying to pull him up but instead I think I stretched a muscle or two. "I-I don't know," I grunted in agony as I pulled him up to the roof. "F*ck you're heavy— but I bet Ace would."

He furrowed his eyebrows as he stood up on his two feet and suited himself as he looked down at me, casually towering over me. "Ace? You have a boyfriend already?"

I rolled my eyes. "Not every boy I mention is my boyfriend Lucas."

"Yeah, that would be weird considering you say Blake and Ryan's name all the time." He shuddered and made a face of disgust. "That would be so incest."

I scrunched my face in disgust. "You dirty boy!"

He then grinned at my response. "That's what Charlotte said to me a few hours ago in bed." He winked.

I fake gagged and slapped his chest. "Ewwww! I don't need to know about your love life!"

He chuckled wholeheartedly. "You're adorable." He giggled and softly took his hand out and gently pinched my cheek and he bent down and climbed through my window and to my room.

Again, I was stunned.

Lucas hasn't pinched my cheek(s) since I was seven.

I shook my head and got out of the daze as I looked to my window to see Lucas humming a tune to himself and opening my door open.

Heading down stairs.

I widened my eyes as I stumbled into the my room, trying to catch him.

I sprinted across the hallway almost tripping on my two feet before steading myself and catching ahold of his wrist, making him stop and turn his head over his shoulder to look at me.

"What?" He asked me with a cock of his head to the side innocently.

"What're you doing?!" I hissed at him.

He shrugged before smiling loosely like a child. "I need my bunny pajamas."

I furrowed my eyebrows and scrunched my face up in confusion before letting go of his wrist. "Huh? Bunny pajamas?"

He grinned with a shade of red tint on his cheeks. "I like bunnies and bunny pajamas make me happy..." He explained, making my heart almost melt.

The boy who always put on a tough exterior adored a pair of bunny pajamas.

Fanfiction cliché bad boys who?

I sighed. "Okay, where are they?"

"The dryer in the laundry room." He said.

I nodded and started heading down the stairs before I looked back at him when I realised that I didn't know what the pair of pyjamas.

I never knew Lucas had a pair of pajamas, let alone bunny pajamas.

I always thought he either slept in his boxers or a random tank top he finds in the laundry basket.

Lucas continued to quietly hum the tune to himself as his head bobbed side to side, enjoying the tune with his eyes closed. His hair swayed and his features looked relaxed.

"What do they look like?" I asked him.

He continued to hum before he asked. "Huh?"

"The pajamas. What do they look like?" I clarified.

"Oh uh..." He mumbled. "They're black with white bunnies on them and the bunnies have pink button noses with big floofy pair of ears." He grinned like a child describing his favourite pyjamas.

I sighed and nodded. "Okay, I'll go get-" I was interrupted by a tired yawn of mine. "-them, stay right here." I mumbled as I rubbed my eyes and waddled downstairs to the laundry room to get his pajamas.

What seventeen year old wears bunny pajamas?

Oh wait, my brother.

I waddled to the laundry room before opening the white birch door that led inside.

We didn't have much big of a laundry room. A washing machine, a drier, and a sink.

"Bunny pajamas bunny pajamas bunny pajamas..." I kept mumbling under my breath as I searched the piles of clothes that were in the drier.

I saw something that caught my eyes. I furrowed my eyebrows as I took out the identical pair of black shirt and pant with bunnies on it.

I've seen this somewhere...

Flashback.

---------------------

"Daddy daddy! Come on! Faster! Faster!" The six year old girl shrieked as she dragged her dad across the variety of stores on the clothing section of the huge mall.

Nick just chuckled, being dragged across in a shopping mall by six year old daughter by his sole pinky finger was quite amusing for him, considering he never knew the amount of strength his six year old possessed.

"My my, you're quite the strong girl Elainy." Nick complimented with a chuckle.

"Fank you." The toddler mumbled absentmindedly as she continued to drag her dad with a small grunt escaping her lips.

"Who taught you to be so strong?" Nick further asked.

"Blake and Ryan." She mumbled. "Along with Lucas and Tyler sometimes."

"Oh?"

"Hm," She hummed and nodded with a brisk nod of her head, practically not caring what her father was saying.

Elainy's eyes scanned the mall in search of the perfect gift for her brother Lucas as her little feet padded against the marble floor of the halls of the mall.

The city mall was opened very recently, attracted almost everyone near by— including the Saphrano family. It's high ceiling and broad walls made the pleasures of walking through stores even more. The slippery marble floor made the children slide against it like a slippery slide. It had multiple stores from candies to televisions. It's large crystal chandelier that swung in the center attracted many people to take pictures of it. It was six stories high with an outdoor parking lot with decorative palm trees surrounding it.

It was going to be the Saphrano triplets tenth birthday the following week— and so their sister, Elainy, went out on a hot sunny Thursday to get her siblings their presents.

For the eldest Saphrano child, the young girl got him a new video game console.

For the middle Saphrano triplet, the girl got him a new skateboard so he could teach her how to skate like he promised.

But for the youngest Saphrano triplet, she had absolutely no idea.

The girl spent her days inside— wondering about here and there in her family home, trying to clear her mind and think about what to get her brother. She thought about getting him a football or a new hoodie but in her thoughts they were far too basic.

She needed the perfect gift for him.

Even if it meant sacrificing her play time.

The girl looked around— lost in her thoughts with furrowed eyebrows as her tongue was stuck out in concentration trying to found a good store that would match something that her brother would like.

A store caught her eyes as her movements came to a halt.

It was a new clothing store that absolutely left her stunned.

The store had a gold outer lining with a silver with the name written in bright neon sign. It had mannequins in glass displays that wore beautiful ball gowns and suits.

'They look like princes and princesses' She thought.

"Lucas is my prince..." She mumbled under her breath as her eyes rested on a black suit with a fancy plain bow tie.

She grabbed her fathers hand and sprinted into the store.

"Woah! Slow down!" He exclaimed as the pair of them entered the store.

The new store looked to be jam packed. The customers browsed the store with interesting glints in their eyes. Little girls tugged their mothers to the gown aisles while boys threw a tantrum to go to the toy store across. Employees rushed around the store, folding clothes, assisting customers, and guiding customers to their desired clothing aisle.

A child's cries filled the store along with the busy chattering of the employees and the customers.  The store looked like a fancy boutique you would usually see in movies and old T.V shows based on the 1800's, but they sold modern clothes as well. It looked like somewhere you would get a Halloween costume.

The two Saphrano's looked around, the father patiently waiting for his daughter to tell him what she wanted. In one hand he has two shopping bags for his two oldest children and in the other he held a quite excited six year old's soft tiny hand.

"Well," Nick looked around, waiting for his daughter to suggest what he wanted to get her brother. "What do you want to get your brother?"

The young girl looked around, seemingly lost in her own thoughts. She brought her tiny little chubby fingers up her chin— tapping them in a thinking manner.

"Erm..." She mumbled as she started walking to the suit section, dragging Nick along with her making him smile awkwardly at employees as his daughter was dragging him at great speed.

"Nuh-uh," The girl mumbled under her breath as she looked at the elegant suits.

Elainy then let go off her dads hand and walked to the ball gown, and tutu and tiaras section. This section was a little less crowded, extremely surprising for the number of little girls whining to their parents about getting the elegant piece of clothing.

"Daddy?" The girl mumbled as she touched each fabric of the gowns and tutus.

Nick leaned against a wall while watching her daughter look through tutus. "Yes honey?"

"Do you think Lucas would like tutus and tiaras?" She mumbled, trailing off as she was captivated by the beauty of a plain grey ball gown.

'This would fit Lucas perfectly.' She thought. 'He would look so pretty.'

"Uh..." Nick thought for a minute on how to answer her question. "Baby, I don't think Lucas would like tiaras and tutus..."

Elainy sighed and frowned in dismay and looked down at her white shoes. "Oh..."

Nick sighed before bending down in front of his young daughter and holding her chin up with a gentle smile. "But you'd look beautiful in that— even prettier with a smile." Nick smiled at his only daughter.

Elainy hesitantly smiled and nodded.

Elainy pictured ten year old Lucas wearing that ball gown and running down a hill filled with sunflowers and daisy's.

'He would look so much prettier.' She thought with a sigh.

Nick let go of her chin and stared at the dress with a smile. "Would you like to buy it?"

Elainy thought for a minute, maybe she could sneak the present under Lucas's bed with a tag from "Definitely Not From Elainy".

'He would never know.' She thought with the infamous cheeky smile of hers.

She was about to nod her head in response until something caught her eyes. She rushed past her dad and stood in front of the 'glorious' piece of clothing.

"Elainy!" Her dad called out before he got a emergency call to which he had to take. "Hi— yes, no— I'll be there. Yeah— okay."

"Woah..." Were the only words that Elainy muttered with stars twinkling in her eyes.

"Woah indeed," A heavier voice said from beside her.

Elainy looked to her side to see a young boy who looked to be about seven or eight. His porcelain skin as white as milk and his hair as red as the tangerine he held in his fat chubby hands. He had freckles over his dotted pointy nose and his fat chubby cheeks. His horizontal orange and blue shirt had a big fat brown stain on it— which Elainy didn't want anything to know about. He was a head taller than the six year old.

"Can I help you?" Elainy asked him politely only to be ignored in return.

The boy looked at her with a glare— expecting the younger girl to startle with fright and piss her pants right there. "Listen here kid, that bunny pajamas?" He pointed to the pair of pajamas that were hung on the rack. "Mine."

But Elainy stood her ground and raised an eyebrow up. "Who pissed in your cheerios this morning?"

If Elainy's classmate were there right now they would probably go 'OOOOOOOOO' and whisper among themselves at how 'cool' Elainy looked and sounded.

The boy just scowled and looked at her with distaste. "Got a really big of a mouth for a..." He looked at Elainy up and down with his arms crossed against his chest before he spat and said mockingly. "-a dummy!"

Elainy's mouth went agape at the words of the elder boy to which he smirked.

Her pink lips curled up in nasty angry scowl.

"Don't. Call. Me. A. Dummy." She grit through gritted teeth.

"Dummy!" The boy blew up raspberries against her face making his spit spread over her face.

"Ew!" The girl squealed as she closed her eyes and took a quick step back, taking her time to wipe the disgusting liquid off her face.

By the time Elainys opened her hazel eyes, the boy was sprinting to his mother with the last pair of pajamas in his chubby hands as they went to the check out line.

The boy looked over his shoulder to look at Elainy with a triumphant smirk before he stuck his white dust filled tongue out at her and dragged his right eye to mock her before he turned back around and grinned to himself.

"Mhm, yeah okay." Nick muttered into his cellphone before he hung up and walked to his furious toddler who had a scowl on her face.

Elainy's tiny little rosy cheeks were inflated in a pout as her small lips were curved into a not-so-intimidating scowl. Her hairy little eyebrows were furrowed in a sliding manner as her arms were crossed across her chest.

Nick fought the urge to pinch his daughters cheeks because of how cute she looked.

"Found Lucas a present yet?" He asked his daughter who looked at the ground with a squad situated on her tiny little face.

Elainy sighed and shook her hand causing her dark hair to frail around her shoulders.

"I found a very cute pair of bunny pajamas but that meanie stole it." Elainy grumbled as she fiddled with he fingers.

Nick stood up and walked over to the high shelf where the bunny pyjamas previously had been. "Well I'm sure there are more honey, lets just give it a bit of a look yeah?" He said softly as he looked through the racks of different graphic pajamas.

Elainy sighed and waddled beside her dad and lifted her head to look at the various different pajamas before she muttered. "Those were the last bunny ones daddy, there aren't anymore." She finished off with a heavy sigh.

"Well I'm sure they're more!" Nick said with an optimistic tone along with the million dollar smile of his as he continued looking through the shelves. "There has to be more, if not we'll ask someone."

Elainy sighed in dismay but nonetheless nodded. "Okay,"

Nick looked around the selves and the racks, hoping to find a similar pair pajamas. He found a bright yellow lion pajamas and held it up for Elainy to see with a optimistic grin. "Eh? What do you say about this one?"

Elainy sighed and shook her head. "It's not the same one daddy."

Nick recalled the number of animal printed pajamas he saw sitting on the shelf.

"I think I saw a elephant one," He smiled but when he saw his six year old daughters bored expression he moved on. "Or how about a horse?" He smiled, trying to convince her.

Elainy sighed for what it seemed like the umpteenth time in the past hour. She looked down at the ground— avoiding eye contact with her father, her black hair gently brushing her rosy cheeks. The six year old shook her head. "No..."

Nick let out a tired breath and hung his head down before running a hand through his blond hair and look at his daughter. "Why only the bunny ones?" He asked in curiousity. He wasn't mad or anything but he was tired.

Elainy looked at her dad with a frown that was made with guilt. "I-I'm sorry for being a b-burden right now, but I need to get Lucas the perfect gift and my-" she brought a hand up to the side of her head. "head says that Lucas likes bunnies."

Nick sighed— realising he was
